Abstract

The teacher's code of ethics is a set of norms and values that serves as a guide for teachers' professional conduct. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the teacher's code of ethics on student learning motivation in the Merdeka Curriculum era through a literature review approach. The method used is a literature study by examining various academic sources including books, scientific journals, and relevant education policy documents. The findings indicate that the teacher's code of ethics, particularly in the dimensions of honesty, fair assessment, and respect for student uniqueness, is closely related to the development of students' intrinsic motivation. Gaps between ethical values that teachers are expected to uphold and actual classroom practices potentially create a learning climate that is not conducive to student development. This study also finds that the Merdeka Curriculum provides broader space while simultaneously demanding a deeper understanding of professional ethics from every teacher. Therefore, strengthening the teacher's code of ethics needs to be explicitly integrated into teacher professional development programs, particularly in the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at the secondary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of multiple-choice test items based on the Anates application in the evaluation of learning at the PDF Nurul Huda Pandansari Islamic Boarding School. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method with 20 students as subjects and an instrument consisting of 20 multiple-choice items. Data were analyzed using the Anates application to determine item validity, discriminative power, difficulty level, distractor effectiveness, and test reliability. The analysis results indicate that the test instrument has high reliability at 0.87. Regarding validity, 9 items demonstrated good validity, 8 items were not yet significant, and 3 items could not have their correlation values calculated. In terms of discriminative power, several items effectively distinguished students’ abilities, particularly items 12, 15, 16, and 18, while others still require improvement. The difficulty levels of the items also varied, ranging from very difficult to very easy. Additionally, the quality of distractors in some items functioned well, but there were still some ineffective distractors. Thus, item analysis based on Anates can assist educators in assessing the quality of evaluation instruments and serve as a basis for improving test items to make them more valid, objective, and appropriate for students’ abilities.

Abstract

Tuntutan global mengharuskan madrasah bertransformasi menjadi organisasi pembelajar guna mewujudkan budaya prestasi yang berkelanjutan. MAN 1 Jembrana menampilkan fenomena unik dengan konsistensi mencetak prestasi mancanegara di tengah posisinya pada wilayah mayoritas penduduk beragama Hindu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi penerapan fleksibilitas sistem pembelajaran dan praktik organisasi pembelajar dalam mengkonstruksi budaya prestasi di madrasah tersebut. Metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus deskriptif diterapkan sebagai pendekatan utama. Data dikumpulkan secara komprehensif melalui tahapan observasi partisipatif wawancara mendalam serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa nilai keikhlasan yang diinternalisasi pendidik melalui program ritual Pohon Komitmen sanggup melahirkan motivasi intrinsik yang amat kuat. Kondisi empiris ini mematahkan dominasi hierarki kebutuhan Maslow dan justru amat berkesesuaian dengan kerangka analitis Self Determination Theory. Lebih lanjut keluwesan madrasah dalam menetapkan dispensasi meninggalkan kelas reguler bagi siswa peserta pembinaan terbukti menjadi instrumen esensial bagi tata kelola organisasi pembelajar. Integrasi kelenturan operasional dan nilai spiritual kolegial ini sukses mengonversi tantangan demografis menjadi legitimasi institusional yang kuat melalui rentetan raihan medali tingkat internasional.
