Abstract

This research is based on the Pancasila Education lesson, especially the gotong royong lifestyle material, it was found that the learning resources used have not related local wisdom, there are no teaching materials in digital form, facilities and infrastructure have not been optimally used in learning, therefore, the researcher developed teaching materials based on the local wisdom of the Kuala Langsa coast on the gotong royong lifestyle material in grade IV of elementary school. The purpose of this study is to find out how the validity and practicality of teaching material products based on local wisdom of the Kuala Langsa coast on the material of mutual cooperation in grade IV of elementary schools. The research method uses R&D (Research and Development) and with a 4D model with 4 stages, namely: Define (Defining), Design (Planning), Development (Development), Disseminate (Dissemination). Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of the research that have been developed are in the form of teaching material designs based on the local wisdom of the Kuala Langsa coast on the gotong royong lifestyle material in grade IV of elementary schools which received a feasibility percentage of 94% by material experts with the "very valid" category, 100% linguists with the "very valid" category, 98% media experts with the "very valid" category. The practicality assessment carried out by learning practitioners, namely homeroom teachers in grade IV obtained 92% with the category "very practical", and for student responses, an average score of 94.15% was obtained with the category "very practical". So it is known that teaching materials are very valid and practical in learning.
