Abstract

This research is a qualitative research using a sociological normative approach. Data were collected using observation and interview methods. Data analysis technique used is to reduce data, present data and draw conclusions. The results of this study can be stated that 1) Strategic planning of the Parepare English Center Mindset can help, assist and ease the cost of English courses. 2) Implementation of the Parepare Mind Center English Center strategy, which means that participants can make payments easier. 3) Evaluate the Parepare Mind Center English Center strategy to run effectively and efficiently. If this is related to sharia management, it is in accordance with the principles of sharia management, namely justice, trustworthiness and accountability, as well as communicative.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of integrated science teaching materials for junior high schools, especially the theme of household health and environmental sanitation. The research design uses a quasi-experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research was carried out at SMPN 6 Banda Aceh class VII. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. The treatment in the experimental group was learning that used integrated science teaching materials, while the control group used electronic school books. The instruments used are test items, learning observation sheets, and learning tools. Data analysis was carried out using Anava to test mean differences and Scheffe test to test the effectiveness of integrated science teaching materials. The results of the research show that there are differences in high-level thinking abilities between junior high school students who use integrated science teaching materials and students who use separate/individual science teaching models in the field of biological studies. Students can remember 13%, understand 15%, application 18%, analysis 30% and evaluation 25% for thinking achievement. Teaching using integrated science teaching materials is very effective in improving the high-level thinking abilities of students at SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya minat belajar siswa SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam bentuk data kuesioner minat belajar siswa yang menunjukkan siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi sebanyak 13%, siswa dengan minat belajar sedang 52%, dan siswa dengan minat belajar rendah 35%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimental dan desain perbandingan kelompok utuh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa kelas VA dan 23 siswa kelas VB. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi yaitu 64,04 dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 42,00. Berdasarkan uji t independen, nilai t-hitung sebesar 18,814 lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,684 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan putusan uji statistik, hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Hi) diterima.
