Abstract

This article contains a communication strategy for activities socializing cultivation of catfish by using bioflock system on the Jaya Lestari fish farming group, Tengket Village Arosbaya District. Tengket Village has great potential in the field of fisheries where the majority of the people are fishermen. The market demand for catfish is still very high. but has not been able to supply the needs of catfish continuously every day, due to limited land and capital owned. One way that can be done is the cultivation of catfish by using bioflock system. The introduction of bioflock system on fish farming cultivation of "Jaya Lestari" fish farming group was conducted on October 25, 2022. The socialization was conduct by presenting the material first, then followed by a discussion or question and answer session. The results of this activity indicate that the introduction of bioflock system on the cultivation of catfish in the fish farming group "Jaya Lestari" has been running very well, seen from the enthusiasm of the group to immediately apply the bioflock system on their catfish cultivation business. This is the result of the communication strategy implemented in the socialization activity of the cultivation of catfish by using bioflock system.

Abstract

Halal certification will increase the competitiveness of micro small business (UMKM ) products, especially food and beverages, moreover there is a policy from related agencies that all food and beverage products must be halal certified. This study aims to determine the perceptions of halal certification in micro small business actors in the food and beverage sector in Bangkalan and Pamekasan Regencies and what are the factors that influence perceptions of these micro small business actors. The analytical method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the average perceived value of UMKM actors ranges from 3.81 to 4.75, which is in the good category. While the factors that influence the perception of UMKM actors are awareness of the importance of halal certification by 55 percent, an increase in product quality which will affect price increases, the desire to increase the competitiveness of their products by 74 percent, the availability of adequate input sources by 51 percent of respondents. willing to provide halal input sources, and have consumers who are aware of the importance of halal products as much as 89 percent considering that the people of Bangkalan and Pameksan are predominantly Muslim.

Abstract

Penentuan komoditas unggulan merupakan salah satu langkah awal dalam mewujudkan pembangunan perekonomian secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komoditas unggulan sub sektor perikanan budi daya di Kabupaten Sumenep yang mempunyai prospek dan daya saing yang tinggi untuk di kembangkan guna peningkatan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Typlogi Klassen dan Analisis Shift Share (SS). Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, meliputi data time series produksi komoditas perikanan budi daya Kabupaten Sumenep dan Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019-2022. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rumput laut merupakan satu-satunya komoditas basis dengan nilai LQ >1, Analisis DLQ menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar komoditas perikanan budi daya di Kabupaten Sumenep memiliki prospek pengembangan di masa depan kecuali ikan kerapu. Typologi Klassen mengindikasikan perlunya perhatian lebih pada komoditas yang tedapat pada kuadran II, yakni pada komoditas yang memilik pertumbuhan cepat namun kontribusi rendah, seperti lele, nila, bandeng, udang, dan ikan lainnyaAnalisis shift-share menunjukkan bahwa komoditas rumput laut, bandeng, dan ikan lainnya termasuk dalam kategori pertumbuhan lamban, sementara komoditas gurame, lele, nila, kerapu, dan udang memiliki pertumbuhan progresif meskipun nilai Location Quotient (LQ) rendah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan Upaya pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep untuk meningkatkan kebijakan pembiayaan dan investasi yang dapat memengaruhi laju pertumbuhan perikanan budi daya agar mampu mempunyai daya saing yang tinggi melalui kebijakan seperti revitalisasi, industrialisasi, dan standarisasi. Title: A Study on Leading Commodities in the Aquaculture Subsector in Sumenep Regency, East Java Determining superior commodities is one of the first steps in realizing sustainable economic development. This research aims to determine the superior commodities of the aquaculture sub-sector in Sumenep Regency which have high prospects and competitiveness to be developed in order to improve the economy and welfare of the community. The data analysis method uses Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Klassen Typology and Shift Share (SS) analysis. The data used is secondary data, including time series data on the production of aquaculture commodities in Sumenep Regency and East Java Province for 2019-2022. The analysis results show that seaweed is the only basic commodity with an LQ value >1. DLQ analysis shows that most of the aquaculture commodities in Sumenep Regency have future development prospects except grouper. The Klassen typology classifies commodities based on growth rate and contribution to the regional economy, indicating the need for more attention to commodities found in quadrant II which have fast growth but low contribution, such as catfish, tilapia, milkfish, shrimp and other fish. Hift-share analysis shows that seaweed, milkfish and other fish commodities are in the slow growth category, while gourami, catfish, tilapia, grouper and shrimp commodities have progressive growth even though the Location Quotient (LQ) value is low. This research recommends efforts by the Sumenep Regency government to improve financing and investment policies that can influence the growth rate of aquaculture so that it is able to have high competitiveness through policies such as revitalization, industrialization, and standardization.

Abstract

Di Kecamatan Socah, banyaknya jumlah produsen kerupuk udang menyebabkan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Ada produsen yang menawarkan harga yang lebih terjangkau, sementara yang lain fokus pada kemasan yang lebih praktis, modern dan inovasi variasi bentuk kerupuk. Kondisi ini membuat para produsen harus berinovasi dan kreatif dalam menawarkan suatu produk dibandingkan dengan pesaing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi konsumen dalam keputusan pembelian kerupuk udang di Kecamatan Socah, Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis konjoin dengan sampel sebanyak 45 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atribut yang paling berpengaruh dalam keputusan pembelian adalah harga, diikuti oleh ukuran, bentuk, kemasan, dan layanan pemesanan. Konsumen lebih menyukai kerupuk udang dengan harga terjangkau Rp 8.000, ukuran praktis 100g, bentuk menarik yaitu bunga, kemasan pouch, serta layanan pemesanan pesan antar. Rekomendasi yang dapat dilakukan produsen kerupuk udang di Kecamatan Socah yakni perlu mempertahankan dan memproduksi kerupuk udang sesuai dengan level atribut yang diinginkan konsumen seperti harga Rp 8.000, ukuran 100g, kemasan pouch, dan bentuk bunga. Bagi produsen yang belum melakukan metode layanan pesan antar sebaiknya mulai menyediakan opsi pemesanan online melalui WhatsApp guna mempermudah konsumen dan memperluas jangkauan pasar.
