Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of partners thru the development of smoked salted eggs based on smart packaging. The methods applied include location surveys, socialization, training, production assistance, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activities show that the farmer group members are able to produce smoked salted eggs with various flavor variants, apply the correct smoking techniques, and use smart packaging to maintain quality, improve hygiene, and extend the product's shelf life. The innovation resulted in more attractive products with higher market value. This activity enhances the knowledge and skills of partners in product diversification and strengthens the opportunities for developing businesses based on local potential, which supports the sustainable increase in competitiveness and income of the Diporejo Farmers Group.
