<![CDATA[This study examines the social and religious values of the Bayan Ancient Mosque as a cultural heritage of the indigenous Bayan community in Lombok. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of the mosque in maintaining social integration and the cultural identity of the community. This study is motivated by the importance of preserving cultural and religious values amid modernization, which has the potential to influence indigenous community life. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through observation and interviews with traditional leaders and local community members. The findings show that the mosque functions not only as a place of worship but also as a center of social, cultural, and traditional activities for the Bayan community. Social values such as mutual cooperation, solidarity, togetherness, and respect for tradition are maintained through various activities centered around the mosque. Meanwhile, religious values are expressed through religious rituals and traditional practices integrated with Islamic teachings. In addition to being a symbol of the cultural identity of the Sasak community, the Bayan Ancient Mosque also serves as a medium for transmitting values to the younger generation. This study indicates that the participation of the indigenous community and the development of cultural-based tourism play an important role in preserving the transmission of social and religious values so that they remain sustainable amid ongoing social change.]]>
