Abstract

This study aims to determine the dominant factor in the psychomotor domain of Grade XI Social Science students in Economics subjects at SMAN 3 Bungo. The research employed a quantitative method using factor analysis techniques to examine the research variables. The findings revealed that the most dominant factor influencing the psychomotor domain is habitual movement. This indicates that movements performed continuously and repeatedly until they become habitual have the greatest impact on the development of students' psychomotor domain. Therefore, teachers need to provide students with more opportunities for continuous practice and hands-on activities to enhance psychomotor skills in the economics learning process.

Abstract

Work readiness is one of the primary indicators of the success of vocational education in producing graduates capable of adapting to labor market demands. However, vocational high school graduates still face competency gaps and challenges in entering the workforce. This study aims to examine the strategic role of vocational specialization programs and industrial internship placement locations on the work readiness of vocational high school students. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of twelfth-grade vocational high school students who had completed industrial internships, while the sample was selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings revealed that vocational specialization programs have a positive and significant effect on students' work readiness. Likewise, industrial internship placement locations positively and significantly influence students' work readiness. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly to enhancing students' work readiness. The results highlight that the alignment between vocational specialization programs and industry needs, along with internship placements in representative industrial environments, serves as a strategic factor in preparing graduates for the labor market. The study recommends that vocational schools strengthen partnerships with industries and optimize internship placement strategies to improve graduate quality and employability.
