Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the biomass energy potential in North Sumatra using the Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP) system. North Sumatra, a region rich in agricultural and forestry resources, presents significant opportunities for biomass energy development. The LEAP model, a widely used tool for energy policy analysis and climate change mitigation assessment, was employed to simulate and analyze various scenarios of biomass energy utilization in the region. Key biomass resources in North Sumatra, such as palm oil residues, rice husks, and wood waste, were identified and quantified. The study involved the collection of data on biomass availability, current usage patterns, and technological options for biomass energy conversion. By integrating these data into the LEAP model, different scenarios were developed to explore the potential contributions of biomass energy to the regional energy mix and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction. The analysis results show that in 2028, the significant potential for new and renewable energy in North Sumatra includes water energy, wind energy and biomass energy. The potential biomass energy produced is 27.0 MW.

Abstract

Small, medium to large companies in the computerization era is required to satisfy the customer needs. The existence of internet allow customer to receive information over the world. internet usage has been used by UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi in 2016, but there are no significant impact on production or number of agents. This study has three main objectives that include the following: (1) to identify the implementation of information system in UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi, (2) to analyze the needs of information system to improve the company’s competitive advantages and (3) to identify and recommend appropriate business development strategy. Analysis data was used in this study are value chain analysis, five competitive forces porter and SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities dan Threats) analysis. Sample that used in this research was 2 respondents. This study showed that the use of information technology in UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi is not optimal. IFE score was 3,098 described that the strength owned by UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi can overcome it weakness fairly enough. EFE score was 3,339 described that UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi was good enough in responding the opportunity and minimize the threat. Score combination of EFE and IFE in IE matrix located in quadrant IV, grow and build. Strategy that fit to UD Vier 57 Sehat Bergizi was intensive strategy (market penetration, market development and product development). SWOT analysis produces 6 alternative strategy formula. Based on calculation in Quantitative Strategic Planning matrix, the most interesting strategy produced was increase marketing intensively and efficiently through online media.

Abstract

This article discusses the payment of rice plow from the perspective of Economic Jurisprudence in Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo, Kecamatan Batipuah Selatan, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The problem is that there has been a change in the tradition of plowing rice fields from using cattle to using tractor engines. These changes also bring changes to the practice of plowing, the efficiency of time, costs, and how wages are calculated. In connection with this the question arises how the review of Economic Jurisprudence on wage plows in Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo Kecamatan Batipuah Selatan Kabupaten Tanah Datar? The type of research I use is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data that the author gets is through interviews. Data sources are farmers who have rice fields or plowsmen. Data is processed by classifying or categorizing the data and analyzed with the theory of Economic Jurisprudence. This study found that the Review of Economic Jurisprudence on wage plows in Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo, Kecamatan Batipuah Selatan, Kabupaten Tanah Datar may be permissible (mubah) due to the addition of wages requested by the plowman to use the machine in accordance with the work produced and in accordance with the Qur'an.
