Abstract

The increase of milk import in Indonesia can be anticipated through the development of dairy farms based on mega-farm. Indonesia has already got dairy farms that adopt the mega-farm, one of which is the Greenfields Indonesia (GFI). GFI has become an export-oriented company, so GFI needs to pay attention to its sustainability on their business processes. This study was conducted at Dairy farm of Greenfields Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the business sustainability factors and to evaluate the factors of GFI dairy farming business based on the success factor of sustainability relation structure. The combination of delphi fuzzy and DEMATEL (Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) was used for data processing. The research results showed that the standardization of the company's management system was the first priority based on the relation structure. The priority could affect the resilience of farm models that depended on manure management impact and create animal care through the availability of management of feed and drinking water.Keywords: dairy farming, sustainable business development, fuzzy delphi method, dematel, management system

Abstract

The wood-based industry is faced with various problems, both internal and external, especially the problem of availability and continuity of raw materials. The study aims to analyses the business model that has been implemented by this wood depot. Then, this study also analyses the feasibility based on the business model innovation of this wood depot initiative. This research uses an analytical framework of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Financial Feasibility Canvas (FFC). The Business Model Canvas presents a visual representation of the nine components of a business which are divided into the right (creative side) and left (logic side) on one page. The analysis uses the Financial Feasibility Canvas (FFC) which consists of 6 steps of analysis components consisting of rational investment, capital investments, assumptions, cash flows, financial returns, and decisions. The results of this study show that this business model innovation at this integrated wood depot can strengthen the speed of supply of raw materials and can maintain continuity to the furniture industry. The sustainability of this business model innovation is realized through vertical integration into the furniture industry. Based on the feasibility analysis, this business model has a feasibility in terms of investment for 5 years. In the future, the wood depot in this business model can be applied to industry players in Indonesia. Abstract

Pengembangan masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatakan taraf kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial, khususnya masyarakat yang berada di desa. Pandemi menjadi salah satu penyebab keterpurukan ekonomi di desa. Wirausaha adalah salah satu yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperoleh pendapatan di desa. Berkaca pada kondisi saat ini, masyarakat perlu adopsi teknologi dan peningkatan kemampuan potensi sumberdaya yang ada untuk menjaga ekonomi dalam skala rumah tangga. Aquaponik merupakan salah satu teknik budidaya ikan yang dikombinasikan dengan tanaman khususnya sayuran. Optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumberdaya melalui budidaya lelekung (lele dan kangkung) dengan menggunakan ember dan kolam bioflok perlu diuji coba melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat, sehingga dapat diketahui kelayakan terhadap teknologi untuk masyarakat desa Nagori Pematang Panombeian. Tingkat kelayakan dapat terlihat dari keberhasilan memperoleh keuntungan dari proses budidaya kedua teknologi ini. Integrasi budidaya lele dan kangkung melalui bioflok menunjukan keberhasilan berdasarkan keuntungan yang diperoleh dari masyarakat desa yang menggunakan bioflok.

Abstract

Background: The trend of coffee consumption in Indonesia encourages many business players in the coffee industry. Storytelling marketing is one of the tools that can be used to build brand awareness and, in the long run, will encourage consumer buying interest. Purpose: This research aims to identify business activities and brand awareness levels and provide a storytelling marketing design for Wanaland Coffee Roastery.Design/methodology/approach: Data was collected through in-depth interviews, online surveys, and literature studies. Quantitative data processing and descriptive statistics results are then analyzed using value chain analysis tools, brand awareness pyramids, and marketing storytelling.Findings/Result: The results of this study are in business activities, Wanaland Coffee Roastery sells coffee in the form of beans offline and online. The promotional media used are Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and word-of-mouth. Brand awareness that is derived from promotional activities that have been carried out is still minimal, so storytelling marketing is used to increase brand awareness. Storytelling design was organized into three scenarios by utilizing five digital communication channels: website, social media, Google My Business, e-commerce, and SEO/SEM.Conclusion: Based on the research results, consumer brand awareness is still low. Therefore, the marketing storytelling design in this study is needed to increase brand awareness.Originality/value (State of the art): Research conducted at Wanaland Coffee Roastery using a storytelling marketing strategy is the novelty of this research because no similar research has been found. Abstract

CV. XYZ is one of the companies affected by Covid-19, which is marked by a decreased turnover of 70% and as many as 50% of workers are laid off. Risk considerations in business are a concern in the face of an increasingly competitive, unpredictable, and complex business environment. This study aims to identify, analyze and recommend priority operational risk strategies faced by CV. XYZ. The methods used are the Structured What-If Technique (SWIFT) and House of Risk (HOR). The results of this study found thatare that the operational risk events of CV. XYZ are categorized into 3 categories of risk events with a total of 12 risk events. There are 8 of 15 risk-causing agents that contribute 75% to the total ARP, and there are 5 of 17 risk prevention actions that prioritized with the highest Effectiveness Toto Difficulty (ETD) value. Abstract

Trading companies concentrate heavily on profiting from the way the company operates. PT Robotaqua Indonesia is one of the air purifier traders in Indonesia. Since the last two years, business performance has decreased. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that exist in the business environment of PT Robotaqua Indonesia, to formulate a business strategy that can be carried out by PT Robotaqua Indonesia, to determine recommendation of strategic priorities based on key criteria made by the company. The research was conducted descriptively with the SWOT analysis method and AHP analysis. The results showed 11 alternative strategies based on the condition of the relationship between strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. As a strategic priority that must be carried out by the company, there are 5 strategies which include increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory management, continuously updating import licensing, increasing sales incentives, developing market segments, and improving after-sales service.
