Abstract

This empirical research aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge management on business performance with competitive advantage as intervening variable. The population in this research is small and medium enterprises in embroidery Aceh’s motifs in Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar Regency. The sample selection is based on purposive sampling technique. Respondents in this research are small and medium enterprises manager of embroidery Aceh’s motifs which amounted to 257 respondents. The data required for this study are primary data and secondary data, primary data obtained by interviews and distributing questionnaires where each item ranked by methods Summated Likert Scale Rating scale measuring the interval with seven alternative answers. Data analysis used in this research is SPSS. To identify the role of mediating variable fully mediated or partially mediated, it can be implemented to refer to Baron and Kenny opinion (1986) in Ma'ruf (2005). The results of this study show that entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge management has a positive and significant relationship to business performance and competitive advantage partially mediate (partial mediation) effect between the entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management and business performance. The finding from the study will help SME owner / managers in understanding and can provide empirical data provision benefits in improving the business performance of small embroidery industry with increased Competitive Advantage by growing the orientation attitude Entrepreneurship, and a good Knowledge Management.

Abstract

This study aims to measure “the effect of service quality, trust, and brand image on repurchase intentions on P.O Simpati Star transportation services in the city of Banda Aceh” the sample used in this study was the users of P.O Simpati Star transportation services in the city of Banda Aceh, amounting to 180 respondents. Data collection equipment used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression is used as a method of analysis to determine the effect of all the variables involved. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it indicates that service quality, trust, and brand image have a positive effect on repurchase intentions

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine: (1) analyze the conditions of information technology, intellectual capital, the effectiveness of the communication and performance of employees (2) the influence of information technology and intellectual capital, influence simultaneously and partially on the effectiveness of communication, (3) the influence of information technology and capital intellectual influence simultaneously and partially on employee performance PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya (4) the effect of information technology and intellectual capital to employee performance through effective communication PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya  and (5) Effect of communication effectiveness toward performance of employees of PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya. This research was conducted at PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya  Banda Aceh. As for the object of this study is the information technology, intellectual capital, communication effectiveness, and employee performance organization. The results showed that information technology, intellectual capital, communication effectiveness, and employee performance are already well underway. Then, the test results also showed that information technology and intellectual capital either simultaneously or partially influence the effectiveness of employee communications, information technology and intellectual capital, both simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees, information technology, intellectual capital indirect effect on employee performance through employee communications effectiveness and the effectiveness of communication affect the performance of employees of PT. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the mastery of information, organizational learning, and employee commitment to the completion of the work and its implications on improving the performance of employees land office Aceh province. The method chosen to analyze the data of this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using software Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the analysis that has been done through observation and secondary data, it can be concluded that the mastery of information, organizational learning, employee commitment, completion of work, and increase employee performance is good, the first hypothesis is accepted. From the research that has been done can be concluded that the hypothesis that the mastery of information, organizational learning, and commitment of employees simultaneously and partially on the settlement of employee jobs can be accepted, with a value of 3.474 for the simultaneous influence employees' commitment to the completion of the work; 5.958 to influence organizational learning simultaneously on completion of the work; and 6.847 to influence the control information simultaneously on completion of the work. As for the effect of the partial mastery of information on the completion of work at 37.729, influence organizational learning partially on completion of the job amounted to 18.693, and influence employee commitment partially to the completion of the job amounted to 7.597. From the research that has been done can be concluded that the hypothesis that the mastery of information, organizational learning, and employee commitment influence simultaneously and partially on employee performance is acceptable, with a value of 2.191 for the simultaneous influence employee commitment to performance; 13.601 for the simultaneous influence of organizational learning on performance; and 2,747 for the mastery of information simultaneously influence on performance. As for the effect of a partial mastery of information on the performance of 19.561; the effect of organizational learning partially on the performance of 126.332; and influence employee commitment partially on the performance of 34.238. From the research that has been done can be concluded that the hypothesis that the completion of the work affect the performance is acceptable, with a value of t-statistic for at 49.015. From the research that has been done can be concluded that the hypothesis that the mastery of information, organizational learning and employee commitment influence simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees through the completion of the work is acceptable, with a value of 3,266 to influence control of information on employee performance through completion of the job simultaneously; 3.483 for organizational learning influence on employee performance through the completion of jobs simultaneously; and 3,103 to influence employees' commitment to employee performance through the completion of jobs simultaneously. As for the effect of a partial mastery of information on employee performance through completion of the job amounted to 7.687; the influence of organizational learning on the job performance of employees through partial settlement of 5.666; and influence employees' commitment to employee performance through partial completion of the work amounted to 6.975.Keywords : mastery of information, organizational learning, employee commitment, completion of the work, the performance of employees

Abstract

ABSTRACT Female leadership in Aceh has become a very fascinating topic. From gender point of view, there is a stigma that men are considered more superior than women. This is reflected by the female leaders’ percentage being far ahead from male leaders’. In the education sector in Aceh, there has been difference on the number of headmasters and headmistresses in A-accredited Senior High Schools. In almost all levels of education, there are many more headmasters than headmistresses. Yet, there is a phenomenon on leadership in education sector in Aceh, in which gender equality in principal election has emerged. Individual competence, work motivation and good communication style are expected to improve headmistresses’ leadership quality in Aceh so their performance is also enhanced. This study aims to notice influences of individual competence, motivation and communication style towards leadership and their impacts to the headmistresses’ performance in Aceh. By applying Slovin formula, there were 220 teachers participating as study samples. They were distributed proportionally to 10 A-accredited Senior High Schools in Aceh led by headmistresses. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The data was then analyzed using SEM with the help of AMOS 22.0 program. The study result showed that individual competence, work motivation and communication style significantly affected leadership and headmistresses’ performance. The other result showed that individual competence, work motivation and communication style affected headmistresses’ performance through leadership. Keywords: Communication Style, Work Motivation, Individual Competence, Leadership, Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the influence of service quality and corporate image on customer satisfaction, customer trust and customer loyalty as well as to determine the role of customer satisfaction and customer trust on mediating the influence of service quality and corporate image on customer loyalty. This study was conducted on 270 customer IndiHome PT. Telkom Indonesia in Banda Aceh. The sample data were statistically analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). The result show that both service quality and corporate image have a significantly direct effect on customer satisfaction, customer trust and customer loyalty. And then this study also found the role of customer satisfaction and customer trust are indirectly mediate the influence of service quality and corporate image on customer loyalty either by simple mediation or multiple mediation. Keywords: Customer Loyalty, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Trust, Service Quality, Corporate Image

Abstract

Peneliti menginvestigasi hubungan employee engagement, meeting application, leadership dan organization performance. Riset ini mengkombinasikan model social media usage yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya dengan engagement model oleh William Khan. Riset ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi lembaga perguruan tinggi swasta di Propinsi Aceh dan jumlah sampel 280 orang dosen yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pada kriteria tertentu. Hasil analisis model persamaan struktural menunjukan bahwa kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta di aceh dapat dipengaruhi oleh employee engagement, meeting application, dan leadership.
