Abstract

The digitalization of public services encourages the change in the levy payment system from cash transactions to digital-based payments, including through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). The implementation of QRIS in parking levies requires educational support and mentoring so that the public is able to understand and use the technology appropriately. This community service activity aims to implement QRIS payment education as part of the digitization of parking levies while optimizing the role of Impact KKN students in increasing public understanding and acceptance at the Palangka Raya Fair 2026. The method used is Service Learning through the stages of identifying needs, preparation, education and mentoring, practicing using QRIS, reflection, and evaluation. Data is obtained through observation, questionnaires, brief interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the activity show that education and assistance directly help the public understand the QRIS payment mechanism, increase the ease of making transactions, and encourage acceptance of non-cash parking levy payments. This activity also shows that KKN students can play a role as facilitators in the process of adopting digital innovations in the public service space. The implementation of QRIS through an educational approach has implications for increasing digital payment literacy and supporting more practical, orderly, and transparent parking levy services.
