The community service aims to provide in-depth understanding and to build collective awareness among the residents of Tambangan Pasoman Village so they can avoid online gambling and narcotics, by delivering education and facilitating focused discussions. The activity was implemented using a participatory approach through interactive lectures and structured discussions, accompanied by field observations and in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community leaders, parents, and youth. Data were collected qualitatively and analyzed thematically. The results indicate an increase in understanding and a significant change in attitudes toward the dangers of online gambling and narcotics. Most participants initially lacked awareness of the legal and social impacts due to low legal literacy and limited institutional oversight at the village level. The persuasive nature of the counseling and the involvement of youth as agents of change succeeded in raising collective awareness and encouraging active community participation in prevention efforts. The outreach program effectively improved the knowledge and attitudes of Tambangan Pasoman Village residents regarding the risks of online gambling and narcotics. Recommendations: strengthen legal literacy through sustained programs, form youth peer-education groups, and enhance coordination among the village government, religious institutions, and law enforcement to ensure ongoing follow-up and long-term monitoring.
