This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation with a combination of papaya leaf (Carica papaya Linn.) and turmeric (Curcuma domestica) in pellet-form rations on the digestive organs of grower-phase KUB chickens. Four dietary treatments were utilized in a completely randomized design (CRD): P0 (100% basal feed), P1 (93% basal feed + 2% turmeric + 5% papaya leaf), P2 (86% basal feed + 4% turmeric + 10% papaya leaf), and P3 (79% basal feed + 6% turmeric + 15% papaya leaf). There were five experimental units for each treatment, each containing five chickens, for a total of 100 chickens. The liver percentage, gizzard percentage, small intestine percentage, and small intestine length were the parameters that were observed. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to assess the data, and when significant differences were found, Duncan's multiple range test was used. The findings demonstrated that while the dietary treatments had a substantial impact on small intestine length and percentage (P < 0.05), they had no significant effect on liver or gizzard percentages (P > 0.05). The treatments were associated with differences in small intestine percentage and length. However, these responses should be interpreted cautiously because the treatment diets differed not only in papaya leaf and turmeric inclusion levels but also potentially in energy, fiber, calcium, and phosphorus composition. Therefore, the observed responses cannot be attributed solely to the combined supplementation of papaya leaf and turmeric.
