Abstract

The rigid pavement on many roads is considered as a solution due to the increasing traffic load that requires high performance and durability of the road construction. However, the implementation of rigid pavement takes a longer time to reach its concrete strength until the road operation. Some industries have developed pavement from precast concrete panels to reduce construction time. This paper discusses the comparison of rigid pavement between precast concrete and conventional concrete. Two road sections are Jalan Margomulyo Surabaya using precast-concrete-pavement and Jalan Semarang-Jambu using conventional-concrete-pavement chosen as research objects. Cost, construction time, serviceability, and traffic performance are the four variables reviewed in this study analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with considers 15 competent experts as respondents. Based on the analysis shows that a road improvement project by using precast-pavement is more effective and efficient with a score of 58.42 %, while the score of conventional concrete is 41.58 %.

Abstract

Perencanaan fly over di Daerah Purwosari tepatnya Jalan Slamet Riyadi ini didasarkan oleh perlintasan sebidang dengan jalan kereta api yang menyebabkan lalu lintas di persilangan tersebut berhenti total ketika ada kereta api melintas. Dengan adanya pembangunan fly over pada perlintasan tersebut, diperhitungkan bahwa arus lalu lintas di Jalan Slamet Riyadi akan menjadi semakin lancar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai derajat kejenuhan ruas jalan tersebut yang dihitung berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997, yang berkurang dari 1,26 menjadi 0,62 setelah direncanakannya fly over. Fly over ini direncanakan dengan tipe 2 lajur 2 arah tak terbagi dengan lebar 11 m dan panjang 410,8 m. Struktur atas fly over menggunakan balok prategang dengan profil I. Struktur bawah fly over menggunakan dua buah abutment, sembilan buah pilar dan pondasi jenis bore pile dengan diameter 0,6 m dan kedalaman 18 m.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk menyebabkan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap transportasi untuk memenuhi mobilitas sehari-hari. Hal ini menyebabkan kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor turut mengalami peningkatan. Selain menunjang mobilisasi, meningkatnya kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor juga memberikan dampak negatif, salah satunya adalah terjadinya kecelakaan.  Penelitian ini   menganalisis karakteristik kecelakaan yang terjadi di Provinsi Jambi, variabel yang digunakan adalah faktor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan, waktu terjadinya kecelakaan, fungsi jalan tempat terjadinya kecelakaan, dan kawasan terjadinya kecelakaan.  Analisis dilakukan menggunakan analisis statistik korelasi, alat yang digunakan adalah fungsi correlation pada Microsoft Excel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa factor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan yang memiliki tingkat korelasi paling tinggi adalah faktor pengemudi dengan  nilai 0,969. Waktu terjadinya kecelakaan paling tinggi pada rentang waktu 18.00-00.00 dengan nilai 0,975. Fungsi jalan yang menjadi tempat terjadinya kecelakaan dengan korelasi paling tinggi adalah  jalan kolektor dengan nilai 0,800, sedangkan untuk kawasan yang sering menjadi tempat terjadinya kecelakaan adalah kawasan pemukiman dengan nilai korelasi  0,995. Penelitian dilanjutkan dengan analisis sub-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan akibat jalan, analisis ini dilakukan karena faktor jalan merupakan satu-satunya faktor yang dapat dikontrol secara massif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sub-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan akibat jalan adalah tidak adanya marka dengan nilai korelasi 0,945.

Abstract

oad capacity is the ability of a road section to accommodate the ideal flow or volume of traffic in a certain unit of time, which is expressed in the number of vehicles passing a certain road section in one hour. The aim of this research is to determine road traffic performance by calculating passing vehicles, road geometric conditions and environmental conditions. The study carried out in this research was carried out on Jalan Brigjen Sudiarto, Semarang City with the aim of calculating capacity and service levels, namely by conducting a survey (starting at 06.00 - 22.00), the data obtained was traffic volume data. Data processing was carried out using the Guidelines method. Indonesian Road Capacity (PKJI) in 2023 where the degree of saturation (DS) is an indicator of traffic behavior on the Brigjen Sudiarto section, Semarang City. From the results of the survey data processing, the Capacity value for the Brigjend Sudiarto road from Demak to Semarang was obtained with a road capacity of 3,253 pcu/hour (C) and a traffic volume of 3,261 pcu/hour (Q) degree of saturation (DS) 1.00 ITP F (Flow (obstacles, low speed, volume above capacity, often occur/congestion for quite a long time), while the capacity of the Brigjend Sudiarto road from Demak to Semarang is with a road capacity of 3,253 pcu/hour (C) and a traffic volume of 1,210 pcu/ hours (Q) degree of saturation (DS) 0.37 ITP B (Flow is stable, speed is slightly limited by traffic, driver can still freely choose his speed).

Abstract

The rehabilitation and renovation work for school facilities and infrastructures is one of the work programs of the PUPR ministry. SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin is one of the schools in West Sumatera that has the opportunity to take part in this program. This elementary school is located in the Sangir Batang Hari sub- district South Solok Regency. The plan for building classrooms on the edge of a cliff is the main reason for buiding a retaining wall before classroom construction work begins. Turap were built as retaining walls to prevent landslides around the classrooms during pre-construction, constructions and post-construction. Gravity type with river stones as the base material was chosen as a retaining wall at SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin. Gravity turap was chosen as a retaining wall at this school with consideration that there is quite a lot of material around the site and also that work that does not require special skills. Source of data used for soil stability analysis are obtained from the field, previous research and from shop drawings. After analysing data, it was found that the Turap to be built is safe and meets the planning requirements for retaining wall stability with safety factor as follows: overturning 2.3 times, share 11.84 time and with bearing capacity of 16 time calculated by the Terzhagi method. Analysis and checking of the stability of the Turap as retaining wall at SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin is only carried out for static loads on the retaining wall.

Abstract

The building performance is an innovative approach that discusses planning, design, construction methods, and the users of the building. To ensure the building functions as intended, maintenance and care are essential. An analysis of user satisfaction regarding building performance reflects users' needs and expectations. Politeknik Negeri Padang, a vocational higher education institution established for 37 years, warrants a user satisfaction analysis of its facilities to maintain comfort in its activities. This research was conducted through a questionnaire survey with 700 respondents, including staff, educators, and students. The analysis using the Suitability Level approach identified three priority indicators for improving building performance: information technology facilities, the condition of public facilities like restrooms, parking, and pantries, and the cleanliness of public toilets. Meanwhile, the Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) highlighted four key areas for performance enhancement: availability of trash bins and cleanliness of the environment, public facilities such as pantries, toilets, and parking areas, room temperature issues, and information technology facilities like internet connectivity.

Abstract

 Padang State Polytechnic (PNP), one of the first 17 polytechnics in Indonesia, is committed to creating a comfortable academic environment with adequate facilities and harmonious interaction between lecturers, staff, and students. Collaboration with many companies has increased the number of students and study programs admitted each year. However, the construction of facilities and infrastructure has reduced green open space by 26.88%. The construction of Buildings AB and E in 2012 has impacted the comfort and health of Building F users, obstructing air circulation and natural lighting, and increasing the demand for water and waste management. Recommendations are needed to convert Building F into a green building according to the Minister of Public Works and Housing Regulation No. 21 of 2021 to optimize natural resources, reduce environmental impact, and enhance comfort. This research aims to develop retrofit recommendations, including replacing window openings, adding green areas, planning natural lighting, and improving waste and wastewater management systems. Data was collected through literature review, observation, quantitative methods, interviews, and documentation. The initial assessment of Building F scored 21.81% according to the Checklist for Existing Buildings in the Green Building Performance Assessment, indicating a significant need for improvement. The implementation of the recommendations will potentially increase Building F's score to 70.30%, placing it in the "MADYA" category, reflecting better sustainability and efficiency standards.. This demonstrates the success of the recommendations provided and the potential to improve building performance in the future

Abstract

Pengelolaan limbah kayu yang kurang baik, dapat memiliki banyak dampak negatif. Diantaranya: menciptakan pencemaran lingkungan, mengganggu kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam bekerja, dan pemborosan sumber daya. Pada banyak komunitas, khususnya di daerah pedesaan atau perkotaan yang memiliki industri kayu kecil, limbah kayu seringkali diabaikan dan dibuang begitu saja. Tukang kayu lokal, masih kurang memiliki pengetahuan atau keterampilan untuk mengolah limbah kayu menjadi produk yang dapat bernilai ekonomis, sementara permintaan akan mainan anak-anak terus meningkat. Hal ini menciptakan peluang yang terlewatkan untuk menciptakan produk yang lebih berkelanjutan secara ekonomi dan lingkungan. Pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan limbah kayu menjadi mainan edukasi anak bagi tukang kayu memiliki potensi untuk memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Dengan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah kayu, tukang kayu dapat memanfaatkan potensi limbah yang sebelumnya tidak terpakai menjadi produk bernilai tambah. Selain itu, ini juga membantu mengurangi jumlah limbah yang berakhir di tempat pembuangan akhir, mengurangi beban lingkungan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, diharapkan dapat memberi dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dan perekonomian dari tukang di CV. Kurnia Multy Kreasi.

Abstract

Kapasitas jalan yaitu kapasitas suatu ruas jalan yang dapat volume lalu lintas terbaik dalam satuan waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini dilakukan  pada kawasan Jalan Brigjen Sudiarto, Kota Semarang, untuk menghitung kapasitas dan tingkat pelayanan. Pengolahan data tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan Panduan Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) Tahun 2023 dimana tingkat kejenuhan (DS) sebagai indikator kinerja ruas Brigjen Sudiarto Kota Semarang. Dari hasil kajian penanganan informasi diperoleh kapasitas jalan Brigjend Sudiarto dari Demak sampai Semarang dengan kapasitas jalan sebesar 3.253 smp/jam (C) dan tingkat volume lalu lintas sebesar 3.261 smp/jam (Q). Derajad Kejenuhan (DS) 1,00 ITP F (arus terhambat, kecepatan rendah, volume di atas batas, kecepatan relatif rendah/volume diatas kapasitas), sedangkan batas jalan Brigjend Sudiarto dari Demak sampai Semarang dengan batas jalan 3.253 smp /jam (C) dan volume lalu lintas 1,210 smp/jam (Q) tingkat pelayanan (DS) 0,37 ITP B (arus stabil, kecepatan sedikit dibatasi oleh lalu lintas, pengemudi tetap boleh memilih kecepatan secara terbuka).
