Abstract

This research is aimed to know and comprehend about figurative language which is used by Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes. The main problem in this research are to know kinds of figurative language, literal meaning and the dominant of figurative language are found in Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes. The primary source is from book “The meaningful life with Rumi” which was edited by Abd. Kholiq. There are 212 quotes on it which contain poems and proverbs. The writer analyzes 60 quotes. The second data source is taken from Laurence Perrine, Gorys Keraf and others that are related to the things which are going to be analyzed. This research uses qualitative research method. The data are collected, classified, identified and explained by giving the evidence from the statements. The writer only focuses four types of figurative language that are metaphor, personification, overstatement, and simile. Based on the result of this research, the writer concludes that in Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes uses figurative language and there is literal meaning. The writer also has found 75 figurative language in Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes from 60 quotes in the book of “The Meaningful Life with Rumi”. The writer has concluded the most of dominant figurative language which is utilized in Jalaludin Rumi’s quotes is metaphor with the total 23 statements, the second is simile with the total 22 statements, the third is overstatement with the total 16 statements and the last is personification with the total 14 statements. The most of Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes talk about love, faith, hope, soul, virtue and determination. Keywords: Figurative language; Jalaluddin Rumi’s quotes and Literal meaning.

Abstract

The Ethyl acetate is the final product of esterification reaction between ethanol and acetate acid which usually used as a solvent. Catalysts are used to boost the esterification reaction rate, mostly the homogenous catalyst (acid liquid catalyst) is used. The use of homogeneous catalyst needs quite long process to separate, that is the reason why using the heterogeneous catalyst is the alternate way. The purpose of this research is to compare the performance of homogeneous catalyst (sulphuric acid) and heteregenous catalyst (natural zeolite from Bayah) by variating the factors that has an impact on reaction. The reaction was happened in batch reactor by variating the speed of agitation speed in range 500-700 rpm and the catalyst molecules size 60 mesh and 100 mesh for the solid catalysts. The goal of the variation is to maximize the reactant mass transfer to the active site of the catalyst. The result of this research shows that on the agitation speed of 700 rpm and 100 mesh Bayah natural zeolite is able to yield bigger conversion of acetate acid compared to using the sulphuric acid catalyst, which are 45.03% and 15.19% .

Abstract

Latar belakang : Stroke pada pasien dengan SLE menjadi tantangan dalam praktik keperawatan karena melibatkan kerumitan kondisi yang disebabkan oleh kombinasi dua penyakit utama: SLE sebagai penyakit autoimun sistemik dan stroke sebagai gangguan pada sistem neurologis. Pengkajian dengan pendekatan Model Adaptasi Roy memberikan kerangka kerja yang komprehensif untuk memahami bagaimana pasien merespons perubahan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial akibat kombinasi kondisi tersebut. Tujuan : Studi ini untuk menggambarkan penerapan model adaptasi roy dalam pengkajian keperawatan pada pasien stroke iskemik dengan komorbiditas SLE. Presentasi Kasus: Seorang pasien perempuan berusia 28 tahun dirawat di unit stroke dengan keluhan spastik hemiparesis kanan dan infark maligna pada wilayah middle cerebral crtery (MCA) kiri, serta telah menjalani kraniektomi pada hari ke-0. Hasil: Masalah keperawatan yang muncul dari hasil pengkajian dengan pendekatan model adaptasi roy yaitu  risiko penurunan curah jantung, ketidakefektifan perfusi jaringans perifer, risiko nutrisi kurang dari kebutuhan, gangguan mobilitas fisik, nyeri akut, risiko infeksi, ketidakefektifan perfusi jaringan serebral,  dan  gangguan komunikasi verbal. Kesimpulan: Pengkajian keperawatan dengan pendekatan model adaptasi roy  memberikan kerangka untuk pengkajian keperawatan yang holistik dan terfokus, yang memungkinkan perawat menilai proses adaptasi pasien dalam menghadapi kondisi yang kompeks.
