Abstract

Transaction digitalization is an important step in improving the readiness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to the development of cashless payment systems. This activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of Gas Ngopi MSME in Damak Maliho Village to use the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as an alternative digital payment method. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through training and mentoring activities. The implementation stages included initial observation, needs identification, socialization, training, QRIS implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the training and mentoring activities helped the business owner understand the functions, benefits, and mechanisms of QRIS and supported its implementation as a payment method in business transactions. The implementation of QRIS also provided consumers with a more practical cashless payment alternative and served as an initial step toward transaction digitalization at Gas Ngopi MSME. These findings indicate that MSME digitalization requires not only the availability of technology but also adequate understanding and the ability of business owners to use the technology directly and sustainably.
