Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a severe impact on people with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and their health behaviors. This study investigated the associations between T2D status and mask- wearing behaviors in public settings during the first wave of COVID-19 among community residents in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Outreach health checkups and self-report questionnaires were cross-sectionally conducted to measure mask- wearing behavior, T2D status, and sociodemographic characteristics. Chi- square tests and bivariate and multivariate logistic regression were performed for data analysis. Out of 254 participants, nearly one-fourth (24%) were newly diagnosed with T2D, while 15% reported that they had never been diagnosed with T2D before. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression models had no statistically significant associations between mask-wearing behavior and T2D status. However, Chi-square test results showed significant differences (P=0.02) in percentages of inconsistent mask-wearing behavior among those who were newly diagnosed with T2D (19%), those who had known as T2D (8%), and those who had no T2D (7%). Early diagnostic services and awareness education for T2D are imperative to reduce the disease severity and mortality for future pandemics, particularly among undiagnosed individuals who are unaware of their T2D status.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of using the jigsaw model assisted by Pakuraja media on class IV learning outcomes in Javanese language learning with Javanese script material at SD Negeri 8 Suwawal. The type of research carried out was quantitative research using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The total research sample was taken from a population of 25 students. Data collection was carried out using the test method. The results of this research show that the students' average pretest score was 51.68 and the average posttest score was 86.72. Not only that, the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test and simple regression test also show a significant influence on student learning outcomes. So it can be said that this research was successful. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian diambil secara total dari populasi dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan memakai metode tes. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa hasil nilai peserta didik rerata nilai pretest memperoleh 51.68 dan nilai rerata posttest menjadi 86,72. Tak hanya itu hasil uji hipotesis memakai uji-t dan uji regresi sederhana juga memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

Latar belakang: Sistem Informasi Imunisasi adalah basis data elektronik, bersifat rahasia, dan berbasis populasi yang dirancang untuk mengumpulkan dan mengintegrasikan data dan menentukan strategi imunisasi yang efektif. Pada Tahun 2022, pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Kesehatan bekerja sama dengan World Health Organization (WHO) dan Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta melakukan riset mengenai Pengembangan dan Diseminasi Strategi SII/RIE nasional serta Perencanaan Operasional di Indonesia. Pada pengembangan SII/RIE nasional tersebut digunakan kerangka kerja dari National eHealth Strategy Toolkit yang dikembangkan oleh WHO bekerjasama dengan International Telecommunication Union (ITU) yang meliputi 7 komponen eHealth. Scoping review dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengambil pembelajaran dari pengalaman berbagai negara dalam pengembangan dan penerapan sistem informasi terkait imunisasi. Metode: Protokol scoping review ini disusun mengikuti pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses Protocol (PRISMA-P) 2015. Seleksi dan skrining dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Rayyan.ai. Literatur diambil pada 2 September 2022, yang dipublikasikan pada 1 January 2012 – 2 September 2022. Data yang diambil terkait imunisasi pada ibu dan anak, pengembangan dan implementasi SII, pengembangan dan implementasi RIE, dan kesiapan.Hasil: Diperoleh 900 artikel dari pencarian database dengan rincian Sciencedirect (390), Scopus (217), Proquest (216), Sagepub (62), Pubmed (9), dan JMIR (6). Dari hasil skrining abstrak diperoleh 119 artikel yang memenuhi untuk dilakukan penilaian teks lengkap. Review diharapkan selesai dan dipublikasikan pada akhir tahun 2023.Pembahasan: Scoping Review ini akan menghasilkan informasi pembelajaran yang dapat diambil untuk pengembangan dan penerapan SII di Indonesia yang mencakup hambatan tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi, solusi dari berbagai negara, integrasi dan interoperabilitas berbagai sistem informasi terkait imunisasi, serta strategi pada 7 komponen eHealth dalam pengembangan dan implementasi SII.Kesimpulan: Temuan review akan menjadi informasi berharga bagi pembuat kebijakan tentang strategi pengembangan dan implementasi SII dan cara meningkatkan keberhasilan dari program imunisasi.

Abstract

Purpose: Mental disorders are the second leading global health burden among adolescents (15-19 years) and the third among adults (20-39 years). One approach to mitigate the medical and socio-economic impacts of mental disorders is the use of digital health technology, including chatbots. Methods: This study aimed to map mental health chatbot technology use through a scoping review. The review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extensions for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines and involved PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar searches. The studies were categorized by type of usage, including acceptability, effectiveness, usability, adoption, and features. Study selection was assisted by Rayyan, and data extraction used a narrative approach. Results: Out of 172 research articles, 21 met the inclusion criteria and evaluated the use of mental health chatbots. Most chatbots were standalone applications (10/21). Adults (11/21) and university students (6/21) were the primary populations for testing chatbot usage. The most common mental health issues targeted by chatbots were anxiety, depression, and stress, although the focus was generally ideal for a range of mental health conditions. Conclusion: Numerous chatbots have been used for various mental health disorders, serving multiple purposes such as prevention, training, and therapy. Most applications combine these functions. Further research is needed to understand the changes that occur following mental health chatbot interventions.
