Abstract

Red mangrove (Rhizophora stylosa) is one of the mangrove species which is abundance in the coast of Java. The mangrove contains a lot of active compounds that is potent as antioxidant. The objective of this study was to determine antioxidant activity of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol extract of red mangrove leaves and roots using DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) method. Active compound extraction of red mangrove is conducted by gradual maceration. According to phytochemical analysis, crude root extract showed the presence of flavonoids, tannins, and steroids/triterpenoids, while crude leave extract showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids/triterpenoids. EC50 value of methanol extract from red mangrove leaves and roots was 5.01 and 2.55 ppm, respectively, whilst of ethyl acetate extracts from red mangrove leaves and roots was 89.94 and 8.51 ppm, respectively. Crude extract n-hexane has antioxidant activity 33.14 ppm (EC50). Roots and leaves extracts have high activity of antioxidant. Keywords: Antioxidant, red mangrove, DPPH method  Bakau merah (Rhizophora stylosa) merupakan salah satu spesies bakau yang keberadaannya sangat melimpah di pesisir pantai Pulau Jawa dan mengandung banyak senyawa aktif yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktifitas antioksidan ekstrak n-heksana, etil-asetat, metanol pada akar dan daun bakau merah menggunakan metode DPPH. Ekstraksi senyawa aktif pada akar dan daun dilakukan dengan metode maserasi bertingkat menggunakan n-heksana, etil asetat dan metanol. Ekstrak kasar dilakukan uji fitokimia dan aktivitas antioksidannya menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil). Hasil pengujian fitokimia dari ekstrak kasar akar menunjukkan adanya senyawa flavonoid, tanin, dan steroid/triterpenoid, sedangkan ekstrak kasar daun menunjukkan adanya alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan steroid/triterpenoid. Nilai EC50 (Efficient Concentration) ekstrak metanol daun dan akar berturut-turut sebesar 5,01 dan 2,55 ppm, sedangkan ekstrak etil-asetat daun dan akar berturut-turut sebesar 89,94 dan 8,51 ppm. Adapun ekstrak n-heksana daun menghasilkan nilai EC50 sebesar 33,14 ppm. Ekstrak akar dan daun bakau merah memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang tinggi. Kata kunci: Antioksidan, bakau merah, metode DPPH

Abstract

Penyandang tunanetra menghadapi tantangan dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, terutama terkait penglihatan dan kondisi lingkungan. Untuk membantu kenyamanan dan keamanan mereka, dikembangkan tongkat cerdas berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dilengkapi GPS tracker dan mikrokontroler ESP32. Tongkat ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi halangan hingga 100 cm, sensor air untuk mendeteksi genangan, dan GPS NEO 8M dengan akurasi 99,9996%. Informasi lokasi dapat diakses melalui bot di aplikasi Telegram, sehingga keluarga dapat memantau secara mudah. Tongkat ini juga menggunakan baterai 18650 sebagai sumber daya

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan prototype robot pengantar barang berbasis Arduino untuk otomatisasi pengiriman di kantor atau gudang. Robot menggunakan motor penggerak dan sensor line follower untuk mengikuti jalur yang telah ditentukan dengan akurat. Kontrol robot dapat dilakukan secara otomatis maupun melalui koneksi Wi-Fi menggunakan website yang diakses lewat smartphone, sehingga pengguna dapat mengendalikan robot dari jarak jauh dengan mudah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan robot mampu mengantarkan barang hingga 1 kilogram secara efektif dan tepat waktu. Sistem ini meningkatkan efisiensi pengiriman dan mengurangi ketergantungan tenaga manusia. Teknologi kontrol Wi-Fi memberikan fleksibilitas tinggi dan kemudahan pengoperasian. Prototype ini menjadi solusi praktis untuk otomasi logistik di lingkungan kerja skala kecil dan menengah serta membuka peluang pengembangan teknologi lebih lanjut.

Abstract

       Technological developments and advances in today's world come with various negative effects, one of which is a decline in student morality that has a negative impact on both personal life and society as a whole. Morality is a principle or standard of behavior used to distinguish between actions that are considered right and wrong from an individual and societal perspective. Education plays a major role in developing students' character, skills, and knowledge. Schools provide opportunities for students to face various challenges in their lives. In this case, the role of teachers is crucial in instilling moral values in students. Teachers are not only tasked with delivering learning materials, but also serve as role models who motivate and guide students through examples of good and proper behavior in accordance with applicable norms. In addition to the role of schools, the contribution of families is also very significant in shaping children's morality. Parents have a responsibility to accompany their children's development from an early age, which is very important for their future and education, as childhood is the most vital time because it forms the foundation of their personality, which can influence their future experiences.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of scrapbook-based learning media from used paper as a strategy to enhance student creativity. The background of this research is based on the low utilization of creative media in learning and the high accumulation of paper waste in schools, necessitating an innovation that is affordable, environmentally friendly, and educational. The scrapbook media concept was developed by integrating the principles of constructivism, social constructivism, experiential learning, and project and multimodality approaches, so that the learning process becomes active, creative, and contextual. The development procedure was carried out through needs analysis, design, prototyping, validation, field trials, and final revision. The assessment strategy used a creativity rubric, process observation, portfolios, and self-assessment to measure aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration of students' ideas. The results of the study indicate that scrapbook media from used paper is effective in encouraging students' creativity, active involvement, collaboration, and ecological awareness, making this media an innovative, fun, and sustainable learning alternative.
