Abstract

Elementary school students' learning interest is influenced by external factors, one of which is educational motivation and promotion. This community service activity aims to determine the effectiveness of Azzahra Tutoring promotion in increasing students' learning interest at SDN 45 Bengkulu City. The method used is educational promotional assistance in the form of socialization, learning motivation, demonstration of fast learning techniques, and educational games. Measurements were carried out through a learning interest questionnaire before and after the activity for students in grades 4, 5, and 6. The results showed an average increase in learning interest of 49%, from 32.75% before the activity to 81.75% after the activity. Students' interest in registering for Azzahra Tutoring also increased from 28% to 75%. This increase is in line with Slameto's theory of learning interest and Uno's theory of extrinsic motivation, which state that external stimulus can increase learning enthusiasm. It can be concluded that the educational promotion strategy through direct assistance is proven to be effective in increasing students' learning interest.
