Abstract

Keterbatasan siswa tunarungu dalam proses pembelajaran membuat siswa kurang memahami pelajaran dengan baik sehingga diperlukannya media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa tunarungu memahami materi pelajaran khususnya pembelajaran IPA. Salah satunya melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran, yaitu video sains interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan media, mengetahui aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan media video sains interaktif dan juga respon guru terhadap media yang dipergunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research & Developmet dengan memodifikasi model dari Sugiyono. Teknik pengumpulan data dari aspek kelayakan media diperoleh dari penilaian validator, aktivitas siswa diperoleh dari observasi pada saat produk di implementasikan, dan aspek respon guru dari angket. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu (1) aspek kelayakan media dari penilaian validator  ialah dari dosen IPA sebesar 94,23% kategori sangat baik dan guru IPA SLB sebesar 92,30% kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan; (2) aktivitas siswa tunarungu dalam penggunaan media video sains interaktif  dengan persentase 82,9%  kategori baik, aktivitas tertinggi siswa ialah mengerjakan soal dengan persentase 100% dan menurun pada aspek menyimpulkan dengan persentase 93,33%; dan (3) respon guru terhadap video sains interaktif dengan persentase 90% kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan buku kerja media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual sebagai penunjang mata kuliah media pembelajaran ditinjau dari validasi ahli. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian pengembangan 4D (four D) yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develope (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Penelitian ini terbatas hanya pada tahap define, design, dan develope. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu kelayakan buku kerja media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual didapatkan dari hasil validasi aspek materi 96%, desain memperoleh rata-rata persentase 98% dan respon mahasiswa 95% dengan kategori sangat layak sehingga buku kerja media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual dapat digunakan.

Abstract

The low ability of students' critical thinking is due to the need for more use of media to support the development of students' thinking skills. This study aims to produce SSI e-booklet teaching media and test the effectiveness of PBL in increasing students' critical thinking. This research belongs to the development research type developed using the ADDIE model, with analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects involved in this study were 29 junior high school students. Data collection in the study was carried out using observation, interview, and test methods. The instrument used is in the form of a test in the form of free essay questions. Data analysis used the free sample t-test and the gain score. The research analysis results showed that the validity level of the SSI e-booklet on mangrove photosynthesis was in a very good category. The effectiveness of PBL learning using the SSI e-booklet is very effective. There are differences in students' critical thinking between the control and experimental classes. Based on these results, applying the SSI e-booklet media through PBL has proven effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain modul IPA terpadu terintegrasi pendidikan entrepreneurship terhadap keterampilan komunikasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research & Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari tahap define, tahap design, tahap development, dan tahap dessimination. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX SMPI Ar Raudhah. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli dan lembar observasi keterampilan komunikasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa desain modul IPA terpadu terintegrasi pendidikan entrepreneurship yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sesuai dan tercapai.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aims for conducting a waste-management training for students of Madrasah Diniyah Taklimiyah Raudhatul Mubtadiin in Bates Village as an effort of embedding environmental literacy at an early age. Methodology: The program was conducted as a face-to-face training for students of Madrasah Diniyah Taklimiyah Raudhatul Mubtadiin in Bates Village, Sumenep Regency, East Java which involved 22 students. This activity was carried out through three stages, including planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The implementation of training includes presentation about waste, its types and management and practice how to recycle non-organic waste. Results: The community service was attended by 22 MDT Raudhatul Mubtadiin students from Bates Village which consisted of 11 male and 11 female students. After the training session, students’ understanding and skills in terms of waste and how to manage organic and non-organic waste have improved. The results were shown by the majority of students’ correct responses toward questions asked in evaluation stage. Conclusions: The waste management training ran smoothly and it succeeded to improve students’ environmental literacy especially for understanding and skills components. Limitations: The materials given were limited to organic and non-organic waste and the practical stage of training was only about recycling plastic bottle excluding the training of how to make compost from organic waste due to time constraints. Contribution: This activity may contribute to embed and enhance students’ knowledge and skills regarding waste and its management. Moreover, this also can improve students’ awareness toward their environment.

Abstract

The problems experienced by students of class IX SMPN 5 Sumenep are (1) the IPA practical instructions do not contain the components clearly and completely, (2) the practical instructions used in class IX have not been integrated with the environment of coastal communities. This makes the learning process less meaningful for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and response of students to the practical guidelines for science-based coastal community environment. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) using the 4-D model. The data collection instrument used consisted of product eligibility instruments and student response instruments. Initial testing (Initial Testing) was carried out on 5 students and quantitative testing (Quantitative Testing) was carried out on 31 Students. The feasibility results of the IPA-based environmental practicum guide from the validation of material aspects, and the design obtained an average of 100% with a very decent category. The results of students' responses to the IPA-based practicum guidelines for coastal communities obtained a percentage of 95% with a very good category so that the IPA-based practicum guides for coastal communities are very appropriate to be used as teaching materials for carrying out practical activities.

Abstract

The abacus arithmetic training aims to enhance the mathematics skills of students at SDN Gunggung through an interactive approach. This activity successfully created a fun learning environment and motivated students to develop a greater interest in mathematics. By using the abacus as a learning tool, students more easily understood basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition to improving mathematical skills, this training also boosted students' confidence and improved their perception of mathematics. Teachers were actively involved by receiving special training so they could independently continue using this method. Support from parents further strengthened the success of the program, with reports indicating that children were more enthusiastic about learning mathematics at home. Challenges such as differences in students' abilities and the limited training time were addressed through a flexible approach and additional tutoring sessions. The impact of this activity was felt not only within the school but also opened up opportunities for further development. Future plans include expanding the training scope to higher grade levels, introducing more complex materials, and organizing abacus arithmetic competitions. This program shows great potential to sustainably improve the quality of mathematics education through close collaboration among teachers, students, and parents.
