Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between coloring activities and the ability to recognize colors of children aged 4-5 years in Pertiwi XI Kindergarten, Merauke Regency. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a correlational approach. The instrument used is a questionnaire / questionnaire. The results of the study were tested to determine the normality of the data using the One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov test for each variable and obtained a significance value of 0.077 for the coloring activity variable, and 0.2 for the color recognition ability variable. After that, the correlation test was continued and the results obtained from this study were that there was a significant relationship between coloring activities and the ability to recognize children's colors with a very high category (0.000). Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the relationship between coloring activities and the ability to recognize colors in children aged 4-5 years at Pertiwi XI Merauke Kindergarten is included in a positive correlation and is classified in a very high category.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kegiatan mewarnai  dengan kemampuan mengenal warna anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi XI  Kabupaten Merauke. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan  korelasional. Hasil penelitian diuji untuk menentukan normalitas data dengan  menggunakan uji One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov untuk setiap varibel dan  diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,077 untuk variabel kegiatan mewarnai, dan 0,2 untuk  varibel kemampuan mengenal warna. Setelah itu dilanjutkan uji korelasi dan  diperoleh hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan  kegiatan mewarnai dengan kemampuan mengenal warna anak dengan kategori  sangat tinggi (0,000). Berdasarkan dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa  hubungan kegiatan mewarnai dengan kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak usia  4-5 Tahun TK Pertiwi XI Merauke masuk kedalam korelasi positif dan tergolong  dalam kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi    terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Yapis Kabupaten Merauke. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Instrumen yang  digunakan yaitu berupa kuisioner/angket. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan perlakuan (treatment) dan melihat hasil perbandingan pretest dan posttest.  pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik proposional random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas B1  yang dijadikan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data  penelitian dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian diuji untuk menentukan normalitas data dengan  menggunakan uji One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov untuk setiap varibel dan  diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,54 untuk variable metode demonstrasi,dan 0,74 untuk variable sosial emosional. Setelah itu dilanjutkan uji t  dan  diperoleh hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap metode demonstrasi   dengan kemampuan sosial emosional  anak dengan kategori  sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa  pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia  5-6 Tahun TK Yapis Merauke masuk kedalam  positif dan  tergolong  dalam kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The background of this study is that learning mathematics in terms of geometry is crucial to introduce to early childhood, and many teachers are still unaware of what activities might boost knowledge of geometric shapes. So, this study aimed to learn about playing activities that can develop an understanding of the concept of mathematical geometric shapes in early childhood. The method employed is a qualitative approach with library research where the data source is secondary data from published research journals. Using labyrinth geometry playing activities, finger painting playing activities, and dakon playing activities, the results for developing knowledge of the notion of geometric shapes in early childhood mathematics may be acquired. The result of this study is based on prior research, namely employing maze geometry playing activities, finger painting playing activities, and dakon playing activities to develop knowledge of mathematical geometry. The point is that playing using geometric shapes provides an understanding of mathematics for early childhood.

Abstract

This research is an expostfacto research with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study was to determine whether (1) the effect of self-confidence on the mathematics learning achievement of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Merauke, (2) the effect of students who took and did not take tutoring on the mathematics achievement of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Merauke, (3) the influence of the self-confidence of students who take and do not take tutoring on the mathematics achievement of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Merauke. The sample in this study was 83 students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Merauke. The research instrument used was a self-confidence questionnaire, and the value of student achievement. Data collection techniques included distributing self-confidence questionnaires to find out the level of self-confidence of students taking and not taking tutoring classes, and administering math quizzes to determine student achievement. Research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and followed by inferential analysis. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of self-confidence on the mathematics learning achievement of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Merauke with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, (2) there was an influence between students who took and did not take tutoring on students' mathematics learning achievement class X SMA Negeri 1 Merauke with a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05, and (3) there is an effect of self-confidence of students who take and do not take tutoring on mathematics learning achievement with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with an effect of 39.5%.
