Abstract

This study is aimed at both of teachers and pupils to know the construction of knowledge and also need to be aware that in the received wisdom that there are diverse interpretations. Because therein strung cultural and ethnic diversity in the form of lifestyle, social experience, personal identity, opportunities for education of the individual, so the multicultural education gives multicultural competence. It is expected that learners are able to accept differences, criticism, and have a sense of empathy, tolerance for others regardless of class, status, gender, and academic skills. Multicultural be referred to as the plurality of cultures and religions. Thus maintaining the plurality will be achieved life-friendly and full of peace. Plurality of cultures is the social and political interaction between people of different way of living and thinking in a society ideal, cultural pluralism (multicultural) means the rejection of bigotry, racism, and accept the diversity of existing inclusively.

Abstract

The curriculum has been around since ancient Greece, defined an education curriculum is program provided by educational institutions. Based on education program, students carry out various learning activities that have an impact on encouragment toward their development and growth in accordance with their goals. The education system has been established with Law No. 20 of 2003 as its legal basis. In its development education in Indonesia used at least four basic strategies, first; equity of opportunity to obtain education, second; the relevance of education, third; improving the quality of education, and fourth; the efficiency of education. Based on the history of curriculum policy, can be seen that practical education in Indonesia is inseparable from testing. Policies are easy to change, only based on short-term thinking, finally the practical curriculum almost changes every ten years.

Abstract

Education is a part of human life which has an important position. The intended interest in this matter is how humans carry out their lives and improve the quality of life. Indirectly if seen based on the philosophy of education which will direct people to think deeply or rooted in the reality of education. The development of national education must also develop in line with global developments by still taking into account the character's cultural values, and also an assessment of conditional factors. The implementation and development of education as intended and expected are in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003. Educational policies and roles that are oriented towards future progress will give birth to quality Indonesians. Qualified humans are humans who have high morale and are intellectual sufficient to know or master science and technology. The new paradigm of education is a new pattern or concept of education to achieve the goals of national education. The purpose of education is to produce human resources capable of facing various future challenges. In essence, the Education Policy that has been made is to improve the quality of education and the welfare of the nation.

Abstract

The fourth amendment of the 1945 Constitution article 31 states that: 1. Every citizen has the right to education. 2. Every citizen is obliged to attend basic education and the government is obliged to pay for it. 3. The government shall endeavor and organize a national education system that enhances faith and piety as well as noble character in the context of educating the nation's life which is regulated by law. 4. The state prioritizes the education budget at least 20% of the state revenue and expenditure budget as well as from the regional revenue and expenditure budget to meet the needs of national education administration. 5. The government advances science and technology by upholding religious values ​​and national unity for the advancement of civilization and the welfare of mankind. In accordance with the mandate of the VI amendment of the 1945 Constitution, Article 31 paragraph 4, which was later strengthened through Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, in particular the Fourth Part concerning the Allocation of Education Funds. Meanwhile, according to the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003, Chapter XII article 46 paragraph 1 and Government Regulation Number 48 of 1008, education financing is a shared responsibility between the government, regional governments, and the community. Abstract

Education is believed to be the main means of developing the quality of human resources. It is in this context that revitalization of education policy continues to be the government's concern. So that a form of revitalization emerged, the issue of centralization to decentralization which had previously been raised as an effort to empower the region. Encouraged by the changing state of the nation's politics, it is increasingly believed that one of the important efforts that must be made is to improve the quality of education. in which the education unit is given authority and delegation of school authority to carry out continuous improvement and quality improvement. Management is a political approach that aims to reorganize school management by giving power to school principals and increasing community participation in efforts to improve school performance, which includes teachers, students, school principals, parents, and the community. The hope is that with this school-based education management system, the quality of education can be improved and that the participation of the community and the initiatives of educational institutions at the micro (school) level will increase.
