Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mengusai semua bidang, terutama bidang Pendidikan. Kegiatan ujian berbasis paperless diwajibkan pemerintah dilakukan oleh semua sekolah. Banyak siswa yang belum memiliki kemampuan dalam komputer dasar sehingga mereka kesulitan dalam mengerjakan ujian dalam bentuk paperless. Permasalahan tersebut diselesaikan dengan mengadakan pelatihan Peningkatan Keterampilan Komputer bagi Siswa SD N 1 Sinduadi, Sleman yang dilakukan selama dua minggu. Pelaksanaan ini dilakukan dengan pendampingan dari tim dosen Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam mengoperasikan komputer dasar. Hasil dari pelaksaan ini adalah  78% siswa mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mengoperasikan komputer dasar dengan baik, dan 22% belum dapat menguasai komputer dasar dengan baik

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly in mobile devices, has opened new opportunities for educational innovation. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media for eighth-grade junior high school students on the topic of the human digestive system. The research employed a Research and Development (RD) methodology using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model, which includes the stages of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The resulting application features interactive elements, including quizzes and 3D Augmented Reality visualizations of digestive organs to enhance students' understanding of complex concepts. Feasibility testing involved assessments by media experts, material experts, and students, achieving feasibility percentages of 75%, 91%, and 89%, respectively, classifying the media as "very feasible." Effectiveness testing, based on the gain score from pre-test and post-test results, yielded an N-Gain value of 0.80, categorized as "high." These findings indicate that the developed learning media are both feasible and effective for use in supporting the teaching and learning process, particularly in enhancing student engagement and comprehension of the human digestive system.Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat, khususnya pada perangkat mobile, telah membuka peluang baru dalam inovasi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang meliputi tahap konsep, desain, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif yang dilengkapi dengan kuis serta visualisasi 3D organ pencernaan manusia berbasis Augmented Reality untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yang kompleks. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui penilaian ahli media, ahli materi, dan siswa, dengan hasil persentase kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 75%, 91%, dan 89%, sehingga masuk dalam kategori "sangat layak." Uji efektivitas berdasarkan nilai N-Gain dari hasil pre-test dan post-test memperoleh nilai 0,80 yang termasuk dalam kategori "tinggi." Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sistem pencernaan manusia.

Abstract

The inability to receive excitatory voice experienced by the student with hearing impairments presents diverse impacts. The impacts include difficulties in understanding the information that others convey, lengthy understanding sentences, and holding verbal communication. This research aimed to develop a reflective maternal method integrated with the Android system to improve vocabulary mastery to support students with hearing impairments to perform receptive communication. There were twelve students with hearing impairments within the 15-23 age range as the samples. This research belongs to research and development adapted from the multimedia development model for learning. Product feasibility test was performed through the alpha and beta tests. The average expert validation score was 4.25, and the average score of the material expert was 4.50. Both expert validation results were in an excellent category. Also, the results of the media experts' validation were 3.58 in the good category. Meanwhile, the average score of beta test was 3.58 in the good category. It can be concluded that Android apps can be operated via smartphones or computer devices to improve the receptive communicative ability of students with hearing impairments. This application is called Reflective Game. This research recommends an Android application program that can be used by Guidance and Counseling teacher accompanied by special school teachers to improve students' vocabulary understanding for the student with hearing impairment. Besides, it provides skills to understand proverbs, opposites (anonymous), and synonyms.
