Abstract

This research analyzes the role of cash flow and company growth in relation to company funding constraints in non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2008 to 2021. The study conducted hypothesis testing to examine the influence of cash flow, company size, company growth, return on assets, and leverage. A total of 528 non-financial sector companies were included in the research. The findings reveal that there is an influence of the dependent variable, which is company growth, on the independent variables, namely Cash Flow, Return on Assets (ROA), Firm Size, and Leverage. However, one independent variable, Tobin's Q, does not have a significant impact on company growth.

Abstract

Abstract

In an effort to create quality educational institutions that are able to provide knowledge and skills to students and the best educational services, schools must be supported by teachers who are able to support a comfortable learning atmosphere and an effective learning process to develop students' potential. Unfortunately, preliminary research shows that teachers' commitment to the organisation is not fully optimal, so efforts need to be made to improve. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy, organisational climate, and job satisfaction on teachers' commitment to the organisation. Respondents to this study were 126 permanent teachers at private high schools in the Cibinong sub-district, Bogor district, using a questionnaire instrument that was compiled based on indicators of all research variables. This study used a quantitative method with path analysis (path analysis) and SITOREM. The results of the study concluded that there was a very significant positive direct effect: 1) self-efficacy on teachers' commitment to the organisation (?y1=0.351, sig<0.00); 2) organisational climate on teachers' commitment to the organisation (?y2=0.208, sig<0.00); 3) job satisfaction on teachers' commitment to the organisation (?y3=0.419, sig<0.00). 4) there was a direct effect of the self-efficacy variable on job satisfaction, 5) there was a direct effect of the organisational climate variable on job satisfaction, 6) The positive indirect effect of a self-efficacy variable on teacher commitment to the organisation through job satisfaction is equal to (?x13=0.147). 7) The positive indirect effect of organisational climate variables on teacher commitment to the organisation through job satisfaction (?x23=0.087).

Abstract

This article discusses resistance to the discourse of religious radicalism spreading rapidly in Indonesia. The passive attitude of some Muslims towards this issue has the potential to threaten the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), so a serious response is needed. This research emerged from concerns about this phenomenon and aims to understand the forms of resistance against radical ideology through literary works (sastra), particularly the poems of Musthofa Bisri (Gus Mus). The qualitative descriptive approach is based on a literature review, with sources including documents, manuscripts, audiovisual materials, and other written references. This study employs Jorge J.E. Gracia’s hermeneutic approach. The results indicate that Gus Mus’s poems on Islam, nationalism, and the environment serve as an effective medium in countering radical ideology. Through subtle yet sharp satire and criticism, these poems function as a creative and elegant response and an essential tool in preserving national unity, harmony, and peace within society.

Abstract

Scholarships are a form of assistance given to students or students in the form of funds or money that will be used to help the cost of the educational process and ease the burden on students in taking the study period, especially the cost issue, given a selective scholarship program.  This study aims to implement the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method in determining scholarship acceptance at SMA Negeri 2 South Bengkulu. This study uses a quantitative approach by using secondary data in the form of a decision matrix containing criteria for determining scholarship acceptance and data on students who have applied for scholarships in the previous year. The PSI method is used to determine the relative weight of each criterion and calculate the final score for each student. The results of this study show that the PSI method can produce objective and fair decisions in determining scholarship acceptance. In the application of the PSI method, the criterion with the highest weight is academic achievement and the criterion with the lowest weight is activeness in student organizations. The results of this study can be used as recommendations for the school in determining scholarship acceptance in the following years. It is hoped that the results of this study can help schools in selecting students who meet the criteria and deserve scholarship assistance to help with their education costs.
