Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the structure of speech that has the imperative meaning and the imperative meaning of President Joko Widodo’s speech. This study aimed to describe the structure of speech that has the imperative meaning and the imperative meaning of president Joko Widodo’s speech. This study practically and theoretically beneficial. It is a qualitative research which utilize descriptive method. This study apply record technique and documentation technique to collect the research data. The data of this research are President Jokowi’s speech on his oration, instruction, opening speech, foreword, interview, dialog, teleconference, conference, and his explanation which has been transcripted by the state secretariat during one hundred of his service periode. The analysis step on this research are data identification, data classification, the analyzing and interpretationof data, and the last is presentation of research proceeds. This study’s object is the languange. The proceeds of this study is a contribution for imperative speech research.Keyword: The Structure of Speech that has Imperative meaning, Imperative Meaning, President Joko Widodo’s Speech.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to describe the ability of dyslexic school students reading aloud Extraordinary Pekanbaru Pelita Hati. This research is motivated case dyslexic students in grades SMPLB, students have problems in reading. In this study the authors wanted to determine the ability of dyslexic students reading aloud in reading words. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The study concluded that the population of this study were 7 students, especially students of dyslexia contained in Special Schools Pekanbaru Pelita Hati. Study data were analyzed descriptively using percentages. RA study indicate income respondents earn an average value of 0.54%, 0.58 RB respondent, respondent RC 0.80, 0.96 RD respondent, the respondent RE 1.00, 0.99 RF respondents, and respondents RG get price -rata 0.98. From the study shows the value of each category of students of high and very high.Keywords: Reading aloud, dyslexia

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan mengenai penggunaan konjungsi dalam surat kabar Kompas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui konjungsi yang digunakan dalam surat kabar Kompas, persentase ketepatan penggunaan konjungsi, dan makna konjungsi yang digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu berita utama dalam surat kabar Kompas terbitan 20 Oktober 2013 sampai 19 November 2013 yang berjumlah 115 berita. Penulis mengambil 57 berita untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini merujuk pada rumusan dan tujuan penelitian. Pertama, setelah dianalisis, diketahui bahwa konjungsi yang digunakan dalam surat kabar Kompas di antaranya konjungsi koordinatif, subordinatif, korelatif, antarkalimat, dan antarparagraf. Kedua, persentase ketepatan penggunaan konjungsi dalam surat kabar Kompas sebesar 88,6%. Angka tersebut bermakna bahwa penggunaan konjungsi dalam surat kabar Kompas sudah baik. Ketiga, makna konjungsi yang terkandung dalam berita utama surat kabar Kompas ada 18 makna, yaitu makna penjumlahan, perturutan, pemilihan, perlawanan, lebih, waktu, perbandingan, sebab, akibat, syarat, harapan/tujuan, penerang, isi, cara, alat, kegunaan, penanda contoh, dan menyamakan. Kata kunci : konjungsi, koordinatif, subordinatif, dan korelatif

Abstract

Abstract: The study, entitled presuppositions in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna pamungkas. The purpose of this research is to determine the presuppositions in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna pamungkas on the forms and meanings in the novel. The method in this research is analytical descriptive method with qualitative approach. In this research, writer use data technique accumulation by notation and documentation. Data of this study are 65 data.Data form the research i have found in the study is the presuppositions that the forms and meanings, presuppositions verbal form containing statement consists of one data, presuppositions implicature verbal form consists of eighteen data, presuppositions verbal form which replace the state consists of eight data, presuppositions shaped repetition consists of sixteen data, presuppositions shape composed of three said the time of data, presuppositions form a sentence that no topic or focus consists of three data and presuppositions form of a question consists of sixteen data.Key words: presuppositions, form and meaning, novel.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describ the form of persuasive speech and persuasive techniques that is used by Ustaz Fikri MZ in Islamic discourse. This research is qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is the persuasive speech of Ustaz Fikri MZ. The data ware obtained by using see-record techniques and the four video documentation of Ustaz Fikri MZ. The result of this research is the form of classification persuasive speech and persuasive techniques of Ustaz Fikri MZ in Islamic discourse. Based on the analysis of the data, the form of persuasive speech that are used by Ustaz Fikri MZ are: (1) assertive, (2) directive, (3) commissive, (4) expressive, and (5) declarative. Meanwhile, the persuasive techniques that are used are: (1 ) direct persuasive, (2) indirect persuasive, (3) reference- persuasive (4) criterion- persuasive, (5) cause-effect persuasive (6) figure speech persuasive, (7) analogy persuasive, and (8) threats-persuasive.Keys words: persuasive speech, persuasive speech forms, persuasive techniques.
