Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to develop LKS SMA / MA grade X with emotional intelligence content in the material change and environmental preservation to improve HOTS. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Biology PMIPA FKIP Riau and MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru in March-June 2015.The research procedures are adapted from the R and D (Research and Development) with ADDIE model development, the procedures includes: Analyze, Design, Development, implementation and Evaluation. This research was carried out until the stage of development. Data collection instruments used validation sheets and students response questionnaire. Limited trials conducted to look at the feasibility worksheets that have been developed. The data obtained were analyzed to determine the validity of student worksheet. The tryout subjects in this research are 26 students of X Science 7 class in MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The subject in the research is KD 3.10 on the environmental balance, waste handling, fertilizer Bokashi and damage caused by pollution. The products content has been revised based on the result of the field test (tryout II) and the suggestions from the validators.The validation results namely (1) student worksheet 1: balance environmental, 3,25 with a valid category; (2) student worksheet 2: waste management 3,30, with the category of very valid; (3) LKS Bokashi fertilizer 3,16 with a valid category; (4) LKS 4: damage caused by pollution is 3,05 with a valid category. The overall response of students to the LKS is very good. Based on the results of data analysis showed that development of biology students worksheet SMA/MA grade x in change and environmental preservations chapter with emotional intelligence content to improve the student’s higher order thinking skills (HOTS) potentially as a source in the learning process and it can be used with a mean of valid criteria.Keywords: Biology Student Worksheet, Emotional Intelligence, HOTS

Abstract

 Abstract : The purpose of this study is to know the ability Profile Junior high school students in Problem Solving Competency Test Laboratory (UKL) On Activity Fair Biology (PRB) in 2016. The research was conducted at the campus of the University of Riau FKIP Biology Education and Junior High School in Pekanbaru that follow Fair Biology ( PRB) in July and October 2016. the sample in this study were all participants Competency Test Laboratory (UKL) totaling 47 people.Techniques in the determination of sample is total sampling. Data collection instruments used in the form of question and answer sheets UKL student participants. The measured parameter is the analysis of items, based on cognitive abilities and psychomotor student.The results show the ability of junior high school students in solving Competency Testing Laboratories based on a set of cognitive domains I shows the criteria are not well with the average of 13.7% and II showed less criteria set well with the average of 24.7% and for psychomotor on set I showed sufficient criteria both with average 42.15% and II showed less criteria set well with the average of 38.5%. The conclusion of the research is the competence profile junior high school students in solving Competency Test Laboratory (UKL) on the activities of the Fair Biology (PRB) in 2016 was less good.

Abstract

Abstract:The Researchers have done to collect the data, kind of plants as produce foodstuff and the benefit in society of Rumbio on July-August 2015. Result of research was developing module learning on plant classification concept at senior high school X. This research had two phases. The first phase was collecting the data of plant as produce foodstuffspecies with survey method (interview and observation). Parameter in this research was kind of plants as produce foodstuff in Rumbio tradition society and benefits. The Data analysis used descriptive method. The second phase, develop of module learning from result of research in first phase and used ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)in 3 phase; analyze, design, development. Result of this research found 75 species and 37 plants of it plants are produce foodstuff in Rumbio Tradition society. Part of plants 36 species was fruit, plants as produce foodstuff in yard on 62% and unworked 38% plants species. The average of result in module learning was Valid on 3,99. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the composition, structure, and carbonstock of vegetation in Riau University Arboretum and to develop module in naturalenvironment concept for environmental education courses. Conducted from November2015 until January 2016. This study conducted in 2 step i.e. (1) Vegetation analysis andcarbon stock estimation; (2) Module development. The methods to collect data is usingsurvey and the observation took place in Riau University Arboretum. Sampling locationare determine using purposive random sampling by considering vegetation condition,environment, and topographic. Module is developed using ADDIE model. Parameter inthis study are vegetation analysis, biomass, and carbon estimation. Vegetation in RiauUniversity Arboretum consist of 25 family, 44 species, and 604 individual with mediumcategory (2,94) for diversity. Hevea brasiliensis is the species with highest importancevalue index (74,05%). Total of biomass and carbon stock in study location are 2,23ton/ha and 1,12 ton C/ha. Module that developed from outcome of the study is in validcategory (4,1) and limited test shows that the module in very good category (89,3).Key Word : Riau University Arboretum, carbon stock, module

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to design green pedagogy Assessment Model Green for student teachers FKIP Biology, University of Riau (UR). Assessment models used are authentic assessment and reflective assessment. The authentic assessmet consist of seven techniques, there are: paper and pencil test, attitude, performance, product, project, self-assessment and portofolio. The research was conducted at Biology Education University of Riau and the limiting test with twenty student on January until June 2015. The kind of this research is research and Development (R & D) design with ADDIE (analyze, desaign, develop, implement and evaluate) model. This research just up develop stage. Data collection instruments used were validation sheet, observation sheet, interview sheet and questionnaire. Validation sheet is value by 3 external validator. Observation sheet used to observe environment of UR. Interview was conducted directly with a field manager ESU UR. The questionnaire used to determine the feasibility and used of products have been developed. Data collected were statistically analyzed descriptively. Results of the validation on KD 1.1 is 3.25 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.2 is 3.26 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.3 is 3.24 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.4 is 3.27 with a valid category. To determine used product, then do limited testing. From result of research that has been done can be seen that the design of the green pedagogy assessment model was conducted by used ADDIE model of which is through the stage of Analyze, Design, Develop is valid and can be implemented through testing with a larger scale. Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to develop the module based Green Pedagogy for students candidates Biology teachers Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. The development of module based Green Pedagogy do according Burns model that had five key dimensions, were Content, Context, Process, prespective and Ecological Design (Transformative Learning). The research was conducted in January-June 2015. This research was development (Research & Development) using ADDIE models. The research procedures includes the step of the analysis, design, development and limited testing. Data research were the observation of the campus of University of Riau-Panam, interviews with the Engineering Service Unit (ESU), validation sheet and questionnaire responses of students. Lesson module that have been developed next validated by specialists validator. Based on the results of the validation of the validator shows that the value 3.12 to 3.25 with a valid category for 10 sub-modules that have been developed. Next to see the validity, the validity and usability the lesson module based Green Pedagogy learning, the researcher did limites tested. Respondents in a limited tested were students of Biology Education in 2nd semester academic year 2015 class of 20 people. Conducts sample selection randomly. Sub module tested are sub module 8 and 9 which contains material on air. Based on the results of student responses to the lesson module based Green Pedagogy obtained value ranging from 80.00 to 83.75 for good category and grades from 85.00 to 88.75 for the very good category. The result showed that the lesson module based Green Pedagogy that have been developed are valid and can be implemented on a wider scale. Keywords: Green Pedagogy, Module, Development, Burns Model.
