Abstract

The rapid development of technology has resulted in many changes, especially in the world of education. The use of vlogs today is one of the impacts caused by technological developments or digital lifestyles. Video blogging (vlog) is the process of making videos with audio visuals instead of using words. This study will examine the use of vlogs in improving the speaking skills of fourth semester students at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. The research aims to find out how the use of vlogs improves students' speaking skills and wants to know the students' response to the use of vlog media for learning to speak. The research was conducted at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, and the subjects of this study were third semester students of the English education study program. This research is a qualitative research, and the data collection technique used was interviews. The interviews involved five fourth semester students. The results showed that vlogs make it easier for students to practice speaking skills because before being displayed on the camera screen, students prepare in advance what they will say. Additionally, the use of vlogs is effective for speaking learning. Through vlogs, students can improve their shortcomings in speaking, such as pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and lack of confidence.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of mathematics are not appropriate thought of learning models in the classroom. Therefore, the NHT and TPS learning models can be applied to improve the learning of outcomes of the student. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes using the NHT learning model with the TPS learning model. The sampling technique is used as a random sampling cluster with 2 groups of experiments for the first experimental group  (classroom view of TPS model) and the second experimental group (classes of NHT modeling). The instrument of this research uses the test of mathematics learning result. The hypothesis test is used  T-Test. The conclusion of research that are differences in the outcomes of the two learning models (NHT and TPS) on learning outcomes, based on the marginal mean of the TPS learning model is better learning outcomes than the NHT learning model.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat menyebabkan persaingan bisnis menjadi semakin ketat, khususnya dalam industri kuliner makanan cepat saji yang terus berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Salah satu fenomena yang saat ini banyak dimanfaatkan oleh pelaku usaha adalah promosi melalui media sosial, terutama platform Instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis pengaruh media sosial Instagram terhadap minat beli konsumen pada produk Rocket Chicken di Kabupaten Sampang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 111 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang relevan dengan penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial Instagram berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa strategi pemasaran digital melalui Instagram menjadi sarana promosi yang efektif bagi Rocket Chicken dalam menarik perhatian sekaligus meningkatkan minat beli konsumen di Kabupaten Sampang.
