Abstract

The sandwich generation in South Jakarta faces dual financial burdens that challenge financial management. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and lifestyle on financial management. A quantitative method was applied to 370 respondents aged 18–26 using questionnaires and SmartPLS analysis. The results show an R² value of 0.367, indicating that the independent variables explain 36.7% of financial management variation. Hypothesis testing confirmed that financial literacy significantly influences financial management (O = 0.531; T = 7.575; p = 0.000), as does lifestyle (O = 0.204; T = 3.966; p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a positive effect (O = 0.604; T = 10.149; p = 0.000). The discussion highlights that improving financial literacy plays a more dominant role than lifestyle control in enhancing financial management of the sandwich generation. Keywords : Financial Literacy, Lifestyle, Finansial Management, Sandwich Generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the work environment has on employee performance at Panca Sakti University Bekasi, Indonesia partially. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all employees at Panca Sakti University Bekasi, totaling 121 employees. The sampling technique is cluster sampling where a portion of the population is used as a sample, totaling 57 people. The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, t test, and coefficient of determination. The conclusions of this study are, 1) The results of simple linear regression analysis can be seen that the Work Environment variable has a significant influence on employee performance at Panca Sakti University Bekasi this is indicated by the regression value Y = 0.784 + 0.612 which means that the work environment variable has an influence which is significant to employee performance., 2) The correlation coefficient value is 0.648 which lies between -1 0.538 +1. That is, the value of the correlation coefficient (r) indicates that the relationship between the two variables is strong and positive, meaning that the work environment has an effect on improving employee performance. 3) The results of the t-test analysis, obtained by 5.751 while the t-table is 1.458 because t-count is greater than t-table means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. 4) Analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained the coefficient of determination of r = 0.319

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Sepatu Bata Tbk for the period 2014–2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative type. The data used are secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial reports, which were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 27. The t-test results indicate that the Current Ratio has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets, while the Debt to Asset Ratio has a significant negative effect. However, the F-test indicates that the Current Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio simultaneously have a significant effect on Return on Assets. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.613 indicates that 61.3% of the variation in ROA can be explained by the two independent variables. Based on these findings, it is recommended that management pay more attention to liquidity management and the company's funding structure. This study also contributes to academics and practitioners in understanding the relationship between financial ratios and profitability

Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) provides an in-depth analysis of pedagogical barriers in Blended Learning (BL) within higher education, specifically focusing on challenges related to Teaching Presence (TP) and the scaffolding of Self-Directed Learning (SDL). While previous reviews have largely focused on infrastructural constraints, there is a scarcity of synthesis regarding design-centric pedagogical barriers. A rigorous PRISMA-compliant SLR protocol was applied to 20 empirically-driven studies published between 2021–2023 across diverse disciplinary contexts. Data were extracted based on predefined criteria and analyzed using qualitative thematic synthesis. Pedagogical barriers were frequently reported (identified in 90% of studies). Key challenges clustered around: (1) Deficient TP in Course Design (failure to cohesively integrate online and face-to-face activities) and (2) Inadequate SDL Scaffolding (failure to provide explicit guidance for student self-monitoring). This synthesis posits that technical constraints are often secondary consequences of foundational pedagogical design flaws. The findings establish that a primary bottleneck in contemporary BL implementation is pedagogical, offering a foundation for institutions to prioritize faculty development in instructional design.
