Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIIE dan VIIH SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi Tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rasa tanggung jawab siswa pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah pada kelas VIIE dan VIIH SMP Negeri 7 Mauro Jambi.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuantitatif menggunakan prosedur penelitian survei. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung. alat pengumpul data berupa angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 2 kelas dari SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah Total sampling. Subjek yang diambil adalah kelas VIIE terdiri dari 20 siswa dan VIIH yang terdiri dari 22 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas VIIE lebih unggul dari kelas VIIH. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas VIIE sudah memiliki rasa tanggung jawab yang lebih dibandingkan dengan kelas VIIH.This research was conducted on students of class VIIE and VIIH of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi Academic Year 2019/2020. This study aims to determine the sense of responsibility of students in the learning process in schools in class VIIE and VIIH of Mauro Jambi State Middle School 7. This study uses a quantitative type using survey research procedures. The data collection technique used is the direct observation technique of data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 2 classes from Muaro Jambi 7th Middle School. The sampling technique is total sampling. The subjects taken were class VIIE consisting of 20 students and VIIH consisting of 22 students. The results of this study indicate that class VIIE is superior to class VIIH. These results indicate that class VIIE already has a sense of responsibility that is more than class VIIH.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation of students' perceptions of e-module toward students' basic science process skills. The subject of the study were second semester students of Department of Physics Education in Universitas Jambi. This research used a mixed-method research with data collection instruments consisting of student perception questionnaire, observation sheet of students' science process skills, and also interviews. From the results of data analysis, students' perceptions were in the good category with an average of 74.95, and the basic science process skills of students were also in the good category with an average of 69.08. Based on the correlation test conducted there is a significant relationship between the level of student perception of e-module with students’ basic science process skills using Pearson correlation values 0,927, and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 at a significance of 1%.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a core competency in 21st-century education. However, students’ critical thinking skills in physics learning remain relatively low, particularly in problem analysis and argument construction. Previous studies have developed various assessment instruments to measure critical thinking skills, but these instruments are generally not contextualized within local cultural practices and are rarely designed specifically for momentum and impulse topics. Furthermore, the integration of traditional games as a context for authentic assessment has not been widely explored. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design based on the ADDIE model, involving 324 eleventh-grade students from several schools in Yogyakarta for empirical validation. This instrument consists of eight essay items designed based on critical thinking indicators and validated by six validators. Content validity was analyzed using Aiken’s V, while empirical validity, reliability, and item difficulty were examined using the Rasch model with the Partial Credit Model (PCM). The results show that all items achieved high content validity (Aiken’s V = 0.833–1.00) and met the Rasch model fit criteria, as indicated by acceptable INFIT and OUTFIT MNSQ values and positive point measure correlations (PTMEA CORR). The instrument also demonstrated high reliability (Item Reliability = 0.87; Person Reliability = 0.85), with a moderate level of item difficulty. The instrument demonstrates strong validity and reliability, as well as high measurement precision in differentiating students’ levels of critical thinking skills.
