Abstract

As technology develops, everyone wants easy things, one of which is the ease of shopping for tires and processing sales data. Manual data recording has several weaknesses, including the potential for errors in writing and reading, and is also prone to loss or damage. From the problems mentioned above, the ongoing management system that is carried out manually, makes sales data management not effective and efficient enough, so a more effective system is needed because it can be accessed quickly and easily, namely by developing a website-based Tire Point of Sale (POS) application at Toko Diva Cirebon. The purpose of making this Tire Point of Sale (POS) application is to help integrate data properly and enable easy and accurate data processing. The development of this system uses the waterfall system design method, which can assist in making the system by following a sequential process. This method is carried out starting from the requirements analysis stage, system and software design, implementation, system testing, and maintenance. Design tools use UML (Unified Modeling Language) to create use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results obtained are web-based Point of Sales (POS) applications that can facilitate recording, managing and storing data on goods and transactions carried out. This application helps minimize errors that may occur in transaction calculations and makes it easier to search for data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the implementation of MyBest LMS in virtual English learning. The analysis uses Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In the context of English learning in the Information Systems study program at Bina Sarana Informatika University, E-Learning has become an increasingly important tool to facilitate the lecture process. Through the LMS platform commonly referred to as MyBest, students can access learning materials, assignments, discussions, and evaluations online, without being limited by time and space. However, success in its implementation is not only determined by the sophistication of the technology used, but also by the user's perception of the platform. In this context, students' perception towards E-Learning has an important role in determining the effectiveness and acceptance of the technology in the learning process, especially in English learning which is one of the courses conducted virtually at UBSI. This research uses descriptive method by using observation, questionnaire and interview collected from 40 Information System students of Bina Sarana Informatika University who were selected from cluster random sampling technique.

Abstract

Menuntut ilmu adalah kewajiban bagi seorang siswa. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, tidak sedikit peserta didik yang masih mengalami kesulitan belajar. Perkembangan teknologi memberikan dampak signifikan pada bidang pendidikan. Namun, tidak semua elemen pendidikan paham mengenai penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi pengolah kata Microsoft Word. Hal tersebut dikarenakan keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya yang dimiliki Hal ini juga yang dialami oleh anak-anak SD Negeri Pangulah baru 1. Oleh Karena itu Tim 18 BSI Explore 2025 melakukan pelatihan dasar penggunaan Microsoft Word pada siswa SDN Pangulah Baru 1. Dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan potensi generasi muda. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dengan 2 tahapan yakni persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Pelatihan Microsoft Word dilakukan beberapa tahapan yaitu pengenalan menu dan fitur, pelatihan mengatur toolbar, pelatihan membuat tabel dan memasukkan gambar, serta pelatihan menyimpan dokumen di Microsoft Word. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan hasil yang positif dari para siswa karena mereka cepat tanggap dalam memahami pelatihan yang disampaikan dan hasil yang dikerjakan sesuai dengan penjelasan yang dijabarkan Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, maka didapatkan hasil, bahwa Siswa Siswi SDN Pangulah Baru 1 sudah paham mengenai langkah-langkah dalam Mengoperasikan Microsoft Word dasar.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri Digital 4.0 telah mendorong pergeseran besar dalam struktur ketenagakerjaan global melalui pertumbuhan gig economy, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah gig worker, pekerja berbasis tugas atau proyek jangka pendek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perkembangan penelitian mengenai gig worker dalam literatur ilmiah terindeks Scopus periode 2019–2024 melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Dengan menggunakan software VOSviewer, dilakukan analisis terhadap 85 keyword dari 93 artikel yang relevan, melalui tiga jenis visualisasi: network, overlay, dan density. Hasilnya menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam publikasi mengenai gig worker yang mencerminkan tingginya minat akademik terhadap topik ini. Kajian gig worker bersifat multidisipliner dan menarik perhatian dari berbagai bidang terutama manajemen bisnis, sosial, ekonomi, psikologi, dan kesehatan. Negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat dan Tiongkok mendominasi kontribusi riset. Visualisasi jejaring mengidentifikasi lima klaster utama: gig worker dan struktur ekonomi digital, sosiodemografis dan kondisi pekerja, psikologis dan kesejahteraan, makna kerja dan engagement, dan hubungan kerja dan isu sosial. Fokus penelitian juga mengalami pergeseran dari aspek demografis ke isu makna kerja serta pengaruh teknologi digital dan psikologi. Visualisasi density menegaskan gig worker sebagai pusat perhatian riset, dengan penekanan pada identitas, kondisi kerja, dan kesejahteraan, serta membuka peluang eksplorasi lanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman baru tentang dinamika penelitian gig worker, serta menjadi referensi strategis bagi akademisi, pembuat kebijakan, dan pelaku industri dalam membangun ekosistem kerja digital yang lebih adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of information technology has grown so rapidly, one of which is a website-based information system which has many advantages over conventional paper-based systems and desktop-based information systems. This study aims to offer a solution to the Puskesmas Tirtamulya in Karawang Regency to implement a website-based medical record information system. The research method used is the application design with the Waterfall Model from Pressman. The results of the study created a website-based information system for the Puskesmas Tirtamulya, Karawang Regency with the following advantages: First, eliminating the possibility of duplicate patient data; Second, the process of searching for medical record data is easier to find; Third, it saves space because patient data and medical records are stored in the form of computer files, not in the form of paper documents; The four patient data and medical records are backed up online and periodically so that the data is stored safely; Fifth, the data stored in the system can be used as information as a basis for decision making by the puskesmas leadership. However, this website-based information system has requirements so that the system can run smoothly, namely further development costs are needed, competent management human resources are needed in the field of information technology, require data access subscription fees and require monthly system and network maintenance so that the system can go according to plan.

Abstract

PT Kumpul Mas Abadi is a company that supplies safety tools. Currently, inventory management is experiencing problems because it is still done manually. The purpose of this study is to design a website-based computerized inventory information system to replace the manual system. The research method used is software development with the Water Fall method. The results showed: First, the design of the inventory information system at PT Kumpul Mas Abadi has been completed using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework; Second, the design of information systems using the Waterfall Method consists of three stages, namely system design, software design, and implementation design; Third, the implementation of a website-based information system needs to be implemented immediately so that companies get various benefits, namely inventory management becomes more effective and efficient which in turn can support increased productivity and company performance.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology at this time has accelerated and changed the pattern of human work to be faster, more effective and efficient. This progress encourages the restoration of the administrative service system in accordance with the development of information technology, so that the data management system runs better and safer. Thus the information system can assist in improving the quality of information and efficiency in public services. In Parakanmulya village, most of the correspondence services are still carried out conventionally, namely with word processing applications (Ms. Word), so the process takes longer, to document letter files is not well administered, errors often occur and even archives are lost due to the large number of archives . Seeing this situation, it is appropriate for the government to use the computer advancement side to support performance to be more efficient in order to improve services to the community by switching from a system that currently still uses bookkeeping media to a computerized information system.
