Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievementon the Buffer topic at class XI SMAN 1Sungai Apit. The research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of research were the students of class XI 2 as the experimental class and students of class XI 3 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is used the cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained that tarithmetic> ttable is 2,70 > 2,00, means that the use of cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) can improve student achievement on of buffer solution topic the learning increase resect about of 10,56%.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS), and Buffer Solution

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material in class X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research with a pretest-posttest design. Sample selection was carried out using a homogeneity test so that the samples obtained from the research were students in class X IPA 3 as the experimental class and students in class X IPA 4 as the control class. The experimental class applied the SAVI learning model while the control class was given learning without SAVI The research results show that learning using the SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules can have a positive influence on student learning outcomes. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded that the application of the SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules in the experimental class obtained higher learning outcomes than the control class that applied the scientific model, the difference in the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class obtained an average score of 63.19 or 63.19% in the experimental class with a fairly effective category while in the control class the average was 3.89 0r 3.89% in SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material.Key Words: SAVI (Somatic, Audiotory, Visual and Intellectual), Interactive E-module,Learning Outcomes, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the use of an interactive engagement strategy using Quizizz on students' critical thinking abilities on chemical bonding material. This research was carried out using a quasi-experimental design because not all factors that can influence learning can be controlled. This research was conducted in two experimental classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was given treatment in the form of an interactive engagement strategy using Quizlet, and the control class was given conventional model treatment. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling, which considers the homogeneity of the sample (class). The experimental and control class samples were 29 students from class X, MAN 1, Pekanbaru. The research results show that in particular, the ability to infer, namely making conclusions and presenting problems, dominates with the highest percentage value of 85%. On the other hand, analytical skills, which involve finding causes, assessing impacts, and predicting further impacts, recorded the lowest percentage, namely 50%. Overall, the average percentage for the four indicators reached 67.5%, which is in the good category. The results of the Independent Sample T-Test statistical test, with a significance value (sig) of 0.000, can be concluded that there is a significant difference in scientific literacy abilities between experimental class and control class students. From the N-Gain analysis, it is known that the average gain score for critical thinking skills in the experimental class (0.50 or 50%) is in the medium category, while the control class only reached 0.30 (30%), which is included in the low category. This conclusion shows that there is a more significant increase in learning outcomes for critical thinking skills in the experimental class compared to the control class

Abstract

This research was conducted based on a needs analysis that showed that the LKPD used was still lacking to develop the level of thinking skills of students. The purpose of this study is to develop a Learner Activity Sheet (LKPD) model of Predict, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write and Evaluation (POE2WE) in chemistry learning on the subject matter of colligative properties of solutions. This research uses the research and development (RD) method with a limited 4-D development model. The steps for developing this research are (1) Define, (2) Design and (3) Develop. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Based on the validation results to determine the quality of the LKPD of the POE2WE model on the material colligative properties of the solution, validity was obtained in the aspects of content feasibility, POE2WE characteristics, language, presentation and graphic successively by 95.83%, 95.83%, 95.02%, 93.75% and 87.55 with valid criteria. Valid student activity sheets were tested for user response by 20 students and 2 chemistry teachers and obtained consecutive scores of 93.075% and 96.65% with good criteria. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the resulting POE2WE model LKPD is declared valid and can be used in chemistry learning class XII SMA / MA material colligative properties of solutions to increase motivation and learning outcomes of students.
