Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of Atomic Structure. The type of this research was research and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 83,33%, 87,50%, 85,00%, and 84,375%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the Problem Based Learning subject of Atomic structure is 85,05% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Based Learning, and Atomic Structure

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt toimprove student learning activities in chemistry on class XI IPA 2 of SMAN 5Pekanbaru by using active learning strategies Hollywood Squares Review. Improvedstudent learning activity is the activity of asking questions, submit answers or opinions,group discussion and enthusiastic about the game of Hollywood Squares. The researchwas conducted with two cycles, in the first cycle consists of three meetings and thesecond cycle consists of two meetings which includes four stages of implementation,namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection includedobservation and test. The results showed that the percentage of students increasedactivity and achieving the success criteria. The percentage of student activity in the firstcycle of 66,07% with categorized good and the second cycle of 81,65% withcategorized very good. Percentage of learning outcomes is also seen from masterylearning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of masterylearning students in the first cycle reached 64,29%,which has not reached the criteria ofsuccess, while in the second cycle students learning completeness percentage of 80,95%has achieved succes criteria. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that theuse of active learning strategies types Hollywood Square Review can to increase theactivity and student learning outcomes.Keyword: Active learning strategies types Hollywood Square Review, activities, learningoutcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievementon the Buffer topic at class XI SMAN 1Sungai Apit. The research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of research were the students of class XI 2 as the experimental class and students of class XI 3 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is used the cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained that tarithmetic> ttable is 2,70 > 2,00, means that the use of cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) can improve student achievement on of buffer solution topic the learning increase resect about of 10,56%.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS), and Buffer Solution

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the improvement of the student?s learning activity and completeness by using Gallery Walk learning method on colloid topic at XI IPA 3 grade of SMAN 6 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016. This research is class action research with two cycles research design. The sample of this research was XI IPS 3 grade students. They were given a corrective action in learning process by using Gallery Walk learning method. The data were collected by giving test and observation method. The researcher analyzed the data descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Gallery Walk learning method can improve student?s learning activity and completeness in colloid topic at XI IPA 3 grade of SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. It can be seen by the improvement of student?s learning activity from 57,987% at the first cycle to 72,192% at the second cycle, and learning completeness from 78,78% at the first cycle to 87,87% at the second cycle.Keywords: Gallery Walk Learning Method, Learning Completeness, Learning Activities

Abstract

Ferroelectric material Strontium Carbonate (SrCO3) has been made with the comparison of 1:1 from chemicalreaction of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). The pellet was anneled with the temperature of 700oC and thencharacterized using XRD. The XRD result of SrTiO3 after anneling showed some peaks, the positions of thepeaks on 2θ are 23.32°, 32.72°, 40.00o, 47.07o, 52.40°, 57.80o. After anneling, the peaks become wider, this meanthe samples become crystaline in structure. From the “a” value calculation “a” mean value obtained is 3,86 Å.Once the value of a calculated and a reference value obtained percentage error can be calculated that is 1.15%.

Abstract

Abstract: The research on application of active learning strategy planted questions to improve learning achievement of learners on the subject of solubility and solubility results in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar on April. Form of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two class, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that implemented of active learning strategy planted questions while the control class used discussion information methods. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing using t-test formula obtained tcount > ttable (4,615 > 1,669) means the application of active learning strategy planted questions can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility results in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar, with an increasing percentage of 23,851% .Keywords : Active learning strategy planted questions, Learning Achievement and solubility and solubility.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the improvement of the students’ learning activity and completeness by using mysterious card and box learning media in hydrocarbons and crude oil topic at X.8 grade of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016. This research is class action research with two cycles research design. The sample of this research was X.8 grade students. They were given a corrective action in learning process by using mysterious card and box learning media. The data were collected by giving test and observation method. The researcher analyzed the data descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of mysterious card and box learning media can improve students’ learning activity and completeness in Hydrocarbons and crude oil topic at X.8 grade of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. It can be seen by the improvement of students’ learning activity from 72.35% at the first cycle to 88.81% at the second cycle, and learning completeness from 89.47% at the first cycle to 100% at the second cycle.Keywords: Mysterious card and box learning media (KOKAMI), Learning Completeness

Abstract

Abstrack : Cooperative Learning Method Jigsaw Type is a learning strategy bydividing students into groups with heterogeneous characteristics. Members of differentgroups have a responsibility to learn a material the same material and subsequentlyformed an expert group to help each other reviewing resource materials section. studentin the group of experts back to the original group to teach other members about thematerial they have learned. Students are evaluated on an individual basis about thematerial that has been studied after allowing for discussion. The purpose of thisresearch is to increase students' motivation in learning social studies in class VIII SMPIslam Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This research wasconducted at the place SMP Islam Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang Kabupaten RokanHilir The sample used is the eighth grade students numbered 30 people. Data wascollected using observation sheet for teachers, students and student motivation. Resultsfrom studies class actions (Classroom Action Research) is known that the activity ofteachers in the first cycle the average value of 58.33% (Good), but on the second cycleincreased to 86.11% (Good). For the students of this research activity In the first cycle66.67% (Good), while on the second cycle increased to 83.33% (Good). averageindicator Student Motivation This research results in Cycle I 58.33% (moderate),whereas in Cycle II 77.50% (High). Abstract

Abstract: This Research in find out the influence of the use of game monopoly as media chemo-edutainment how it affect the student achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This kind of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research is all student of class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI Science 1 as the experimental class and class XI science 2 as a controls class, it randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was treated by learning using media game of monopoly, while the control class is a class that is not treated using media game of monopoly. Data analysis technique is the right t-test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 3.070 > ttable is 1.676 (dk = n1 + n2 – 2, α = 0,05) with an increase in the use of media influence a game of monopoli to student achievement is 16.7%, so it can be concluded that the use of game monopoli as media chemo-edutainment improve the student’s achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru.Keyword : Learning, Monopoly game, Media chemo-edutainment, Learning Achievement, Colloid
