Abstract

Mother's knowledge and skills are very important during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, infant and toddler care. The Pregnant Mother Class is a study group for expectant mothers about overall health for pregnant women. Classes for pregnant women are facilitated by midwives using the mother class package, namely the KIA book, guidelines for implementing classes for pregnant women, guidelines for administering classes for mothers under five, pregnant women and lactating mothers, handouts for class facilitators for mothers under five. This community service activity aims to provide education for pregnant women and help increase the knowledge and skills of pregnant women during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, baby care, myths about sexually transmitted diseases through pregnant women's class activities. The methods used in this activity are lectures, brainstorming and discussions. This activity will be held on Monday, December 18 2023 starting at 09.00 WITA and ending at 11.00. The target is all pregnant women in Pukdale Village from the first trimester to the third trimester of pregnancy. The results of this activity showed that 15 pregnant women (88%) had increased their knowledge about the importance of pregnancy checks. The resource person for this activity is a lecturer from STIKes Maranatha Kupang. This community service activity has been carried out to increase pregnant women's knowledge about the importance of routine pregnancy checks so that pregnancy problems can be detected early.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Triple eliminasi merupakan program pemerintah untuk mencegah penularan Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, dan Sifilis dari ibu ke anak. Ketiga penyakit ini memiliki risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi pada ibu dan janinnya. Kabupaten Kupang masih memiliki angka kematian ibu yang tinggi, Desa Penfui Timur cakupan kunjungan pemeriksaan kehamilan yang rendah yaitu K1 34,23 persen, K4 51,51% persen dan K6 33,74 persen, serta masih ada ibu hamil yang melahirkan dirumah dan tidak ditolong oleh tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan yaitu melakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan pemantauan pemeriksaan triple eliminasi bagi ibu hamil oleh kader kesehatan melalui Buku KIA. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi dan pendampingan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan telah melakukan pemantauan pemeriksaan triple eliminasi melalui Buku KIA.   Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Kader, Triple Eliminasi, Ibu Hamil.  ABSTRACT Triple elimination is a government program to prevent the transmission of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, and Syphilis from mother to child. These three diseases have a high risk of morbidity and mortality in the mother and fetus. Kupang Regency still has a high maternal mortality rate, East Penfui Village has low coverage of pregnancy check-up visits, namely K1 34.23 percent, K4 51.51% percent and K6 33.74 percent, and there are still pregnant women who give birth at home and are not helped by health workers. The aim is to provide outreach and assistance in monitoring triple elimination examinations for pregnant women by health cadres through the KIA Book. The method in this activity is socialization and mentoring. The evaluation results show that participants have increased their knowledge and have monitored triple elimination examinations through the KIA Book  Keywords: Cadre empowerment, Triple elimination, Pregnant women.
