Abstract

This study aims to find out whether ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) really helps EFL teachers in Kotamobagu to improve their students’ English ability. This study uses the teachers’ perceptions as the main sources to answer the research questions of this current study. It focuses on finding the EFL teachers’ knowledge level in implementing ICTs, the level of ICT implementation for educational purposes, and problems that teachers might face during ICT implementation in the classrooms. This study uses mixed method of quantitative and qualitative approach by using questionnaire and interview to gain the data. The findings show that in general, teachers have fair capability in using ICTs. They also have positive attitude towards ICT implementation where they claimed that ICTs are useful to improve students’ learning achievement. The teachers use ICTs for various reasons and at the last this study found that lack of ICT facilities has become the main problem that they often face.

Abstract

This study aims to know students’ perceptions on the role of Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) as the medium to learn English. This study explores MLBB as a possible training center where all skills which are necessary to learn English such as vocabulary, listening, reading, writing and speaking had been learned through the process of playing the game. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods where questionnaire and interviews are employed to find the answers for all research questions. The respondents of this study were 31 freshmen students in STMIK Multicom Bolaang Mongondow who took Information Technology as their major. This study found that the majority of respondents perceive MLBB as an effective medium to learn English. 58.1% claimed that MLBB enriched their vocabulary, 61.3% claimed that MLBB helps them in listening practice, 58.1% claimed that they can read and spell English well after playing MLBB, 48.4% claimed that MLBB helps them in writing, and 67.7% claimed that MLBB helps improving their English pronunciation and speaking skill.

Abstract

Ketidakstabilan permintaan yang tinggi maupun rendah pada waktu tertentu serta permintaan secara mendadak mengakibatkan sulitnya menentukan jumlah produksi yang tepat. Ini mengakibatkan masalah penumpukan stok persediaan saat kelebihan jumlah produksi dan masalah sebaliknya yaitu kekurangan jumlah produksi sehingga tidak dapat memenuhi jumlah permintaan. Sebab itu dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang bisa dengan mudah digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah produksi yang tepat. Aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Fuzzy Tsukamoto dengan tiga tahap perhitungan jumlah produksi yaitu fuzzifikasi, inferensi dan defuzzifikasi. Pada tahap awal, variabel permintaan, persediaan dan produksi masing-masing dibagi menjadi tiga himpunan fuzzy. Variabel permintaan terdiri dari TURUN, TETAP dan NAIK, variabel persediaan terdiri dari SEDIKIT, SEDANG, dan BANYAK, serta variabel produksi terdiri dari BERKURANG, TETAP dan BERTAMBAH. Kombinasi semua himpunan fuzzy dibentuk menjadi sembilan rules fuzzy yang digunakan dalam tahap inferensi. Ditahap inferensi, dicari nilai keanggotaan anteseden (α) dan nilai jumlah produksi kira-kira (z) setiap rules-nya. Jumlah pakaian yang akan diproduksi (Z) dicari dengan metode defuzzifikasi rata-rata terpusat. Aplikasi ini memiliki tingkat kesalahan sebesar 0.324673 % setelah diuji menggunakan 29 sampel dengan metode Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), sehingga disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini memiliki kinerja efektif tanpa mengurangi ketepatan perhitungan dan dapat digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah produksi dalam waktu singkat.

Abstract

This study aims to find the possible roles of Lithub website based on students’ perspectives. It is a typical website that provides all materials and sources of literature including literary works such as short stories and poetries, and literary criticisms. This study implemented a method that required a questionnaire and interviews to gain the data. There were 35 beginner literature students who were in their 3rd semester (when this study was conducted) at the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Sam Ratulangi participated in this study and 5 of them served as interviewees that had been required by random samplings due to their availability and willingness. This study found that 7 roles can be offered by Lithub website in order to help beginner literature students’ learning process. They are: 1) providing complete learning materials, 2) making learning more interesting by providing lively visualization, 3) providing audio recordings, 4) providing appropriate writing examples by reliable authors and reviewers, 5) improving grammatical competence, 6) train them to conduct literary analysis using literary criticism, and 7) motivates them to read more by providing e-books.        Keywords:     Lithub website, literature, literary analysis, technology.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan penopang perekonomian di Indonesia. Tanaman Jagung (Zea Mays) menjadi salah satu komoditas pertanian yang sangat penting dan merupakan sumber karbohidrat kedua setelah beras. Selain sebagai bahan pangan, jagung juga dikonsumsi sebagai salah satu bahan pakan ternak dan bahan baku industri.  Adapun hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman jagung merupakan salah satu masalah serius dalam industri dan pertanian jagung, khususnya bagi para petani jagung, karena berdampak pada rendahnya produktivitas dan kualitas jagung. Untuk itu, petani memerlukan suatu media atau sistem yang praktis yang memiliki kemampuan mendiagnosa layaknya seorang pakar. Sistem pakar yang akan dibuat ini adalah untuk mendiagnosa hama dan penyakit pada tanaman jagung dengan menggunakan metode Dempster Shafer untuk menghitung nilai believe yang telah ditentukan, dimana nilai believe merupakat bobot yang diinput sesuai kepercayaan dari pakar. Manhattan Distance dipilih sebagai  salah satu teknik yang sering digunakan untuk menentukan kesamaan antara dua buak objek dengan hasil mutlak

Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement, the transformation of Indonesian local literature through digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) has become an important cultural phenomenon. This study explores how digital technologies and AI are being utilized to preserve, revitalize, and creatively adapt local literary works rooted in Indonesia’s diverse ethnic and regional traditions. Employing a qualitative library research method, this paper analyzes scholarly literature and digital resources that highlight innovations in multimedia storytelling, language preservation, and AI-generated narratives. The findings indicate that digital platforms such as mobile apps, social media, and webtoons have successfully increased accessibility and cultural relevance of traditional folktales among younger audiences. Furthermore, AI tools like Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative models have been applied to generate culturally meaningful stories, support language education, and stimulate new creative outputs. However, challenges remain, including issues of authenticity, digital literacy gaps, and limited infrastructure in some regions. This study emphasizes the significant role of technology in shaping the future of local literature, encouraging further collaboration between technologists, educators, and cultural institutions to safeguard and reimagine Indonesia’s literary heritage in the digital age.Key Words: Local Literature, Folktales, Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) AbstrakDi era kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, transformasi sastra lokal Indonesia melalui digitalisasi dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah menjadi fenomena budaya yang penting. Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknologi digital dan AI dimanfaatkan untuk melestarikan, menghidupkan kembali, dan secara kreatif mengadaptasi karya sastra lokal yang berakar pada beragam tradisi etnis dan daerah di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka kualitatif, makalah ini menganalisis literatur ilmiah dan sumber digital yang menyoroti inovasi dalam penceritaan multimedia, pelestarian bahasa, dan narasi yang dihasilkan oleh AI. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa platform digital seperti aplikasi seluler, media sosial, dan webtoon telah berhasil meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan relevansi budaya dari cerita rakyat tradisional di kalangan generasi muda. Selain itu, alat AI seperti Natural Language Processing (NLP) dan model generatif telah diterapkan untuk menghasilkan cerita yang bermakna secara budaya, mendukung pendidikan bahasa, dan mendorong lahirnya karya-karya kreatif baru. Namun, masih terdapat berbagai tantangan, termasuk persoalan keaslian, kesenjangan literasi digital, dan keterbatasan infrastruktur di beberapa wilayah. Studi ini menekankan peran penting teknologi dalam membentuk masa depan sastra lokal, serta mendorong kolaborasi lebih lanjut antara teknolog, pendidik, dan lembaga budaya untuk melestarikan sekaligus membayangkan kembali warisan sastra Indonesia di era digital.Kata Kunci: Sastra Lokal, Dongeng, Teknologi Digital, Kecerdasan Buatan

Abstract

This community service aimed to strengthen the community’s capacity and potentials of Talawaan Tourist Village by integrating technology, capacity building, and cultural preservation. The program addressed four main issues: low tourist visits, limited digital literacy, low English proficiency, and declining cultural knowledge. To tackle these issues, the community service program proposed digital literacy training, English for tourism workshops, and establishment of both a 3x4 meter folktale reading corner and a digital e-library at wisatatalawaan.com. A total of twenty participants joined three training sessions, where they learned to create promotional videos, practiced English communication, and practiced managing digital platforms. The program produced both tangible outputs such as the reading corner, books, QR codes and intangible products such as training modules, website, and multimedia content. Community participation was notably high, with community actively enganged in video production, storytelling, and content uploads. The program generated significant impacts that include improved English communication skills, enhanced digital competence, increased visibility of Tunan Waterfall, and strengthen cultural identity. These outcomes are expected to boost tourism, generate economic benefits, and ensure cultural sustainability. Ultimately, the program positions Talawaan as a model for community-based cultural tourism that successfully combines traditional storytelling with digital innovation.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi berperan penting dalam mencetak sumber daya manusia yang siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Namun, tingginya angka mahasiswa yang mengalami putus kuliah menjadi tantangan besar bagi perguruan tinggi, termasuk STMIK Multicom, yang dapat mempengaruhi reputasi dan akreditasi institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis data kelulusan mahasiswa STMIK Multicom dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023 menggunakan algoritma pohon keputusan C4.5 untuk memprediksi potensi mahasiswa yang berisiko dropout. Algoritma C4.5, yang merupakan teknik data mining, memungkinkan pembentukan model prediksi yang mudah dipahami dengan menganalisis berbagai atribut mahasiswa, seperti status pekerjaan, pendapatan orang tua, status tempat tinggal, dan jarak tempat tinggal ke kampus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model C4.5 menghasilkan akurasi 63%, recall 38%, dan presisi 62%, yang mengindikasikan potensi algoritma ini dalam memprediksi mahasiswa yang berisiko dropout. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menurunkan angka dropout di STMIK Multicom dan meningkatkan tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa.
