Abstract

This service program is one of life skills education for LPKA students which is expected to be their provision for a career and build economic independence while living a free period and returning to the community  (rer-entry).  Life skills education provided in the form of vocational training in the field of automotive motorbikes with the aim to improve the career orientation of students of the Special Child Development Institute (LPKA). To test the effect of automotive training on the career orientation of LPKA students, an evaluation of the results of training for LPKA students using the design of one group pretest posttest to 29 LPKA students who will undergo a free period. The evaluation results show the career orientation of LPKA students can be developed through the provision of vocational training in the automotive field, namely the provision of knowledge and skills in pioneering motorcycle entrepreneurship. For future programs, especially related to the provision of vocational training, it is expected to increase the types of skills provided to facilitate the interests of different LPKA students.

Abstract

Muraja’ah merupakan proses penting dalam penghafalan Al-Qur'an yang melibatkan pengulangan untuk memastikan hafalan dapat dibaca dengan lancar dan benar. Di Rumah Tahfidz Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Bandung, muraja’ah diterapkan sebagai metode penting untuk memperkuat kapasitas hafalan santri. Mengingat tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti variasi metode, ketahanan mental, dan dukungan lingkungan, dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas proses ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik manajemen muraja’ah yang diterapkan memanfaatkan pendekatan teori POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) untuk memberikan kerangka kerja sistematis dalam membina hafalan. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan metode pendidikan Al-Qur'an. Studi ini fokus pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi muraja’ah, serta rekomendasi perbaikan metode manajemen untuk meningkatkan proses penghafalan. Dengan menerapkan strategi yang tepat, diharapkan santri tidak hanya mampu menghafal Al-Qur'an tetapi juga memahami dan mengamalkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga menciptakan generasi penghafal Al-Qur'an yang berkualitas yang berdampak positif bagi masyarakat dan bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, kemudia Analisis dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu melahirkan model manajemen muraja’ah yang efisien, sehingga para santri dapat lebih menikmati proses belajar mereka.

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan menurut Al-Qur'an, diantaranya berfokus pada pembentukan kecerdasan kritis individu untuk menjauhi penyebaran hoax dan praktik taqlid. Dalam masyarakat modern yang dipenuhi dengan informasi yang beragam, penting bagi pendidik bisa untuk membekali siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tafsir maudhu'i untuk menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan dengan tema pendidikan, menyelidiki prinsip-prinsip yang mendasari kecerdasan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengimplementasikannya di dunia nyata. Al-Qur'an mendorong manusia untuk mencari pengetahuan dengan pengamatan dan pemikiran yang mendalam, bukan hanya sekadar mengikuti tradisi atau informasi yang tidak terverifikasi. Melalui pendidikan yang berbasis pada ajaran Al-Qur'an, seorang individu diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan untuk memilah informasi yang benar dan tidak menyesatkan. Dengan demikian, diantara tujuan pendidikan yang ideal adalah menciptakan masyarakat yang cerdas, kritis, dan mampu meminimalisir dampak negatif dari hoax serta taqlid. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu referensi bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan yang lebih baik, dengan tidak hanya berfokus pada transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the understanding of mathematical concepts of class VIII students at SMP 10 November Jakarta in the material Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV). This research is a mix-method type or combined research (quantitative-qualitative). The respondents were 28 students in class VIII-B, and 1 mathematics teacher as informant. Data collection was carried out using test and interview techniques. The results show that class VIII-B students’ understanding of the SPLDV concept is still relatively low. Indicators of concept understanding that has not been achieved optimally are: classifying objects according to certain properties in accordance with concept, presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representation, and developing necessary and sufficient conditions for a concept. The failure to understand this concept is due to students’ lack of focus in the learning process and efforts can be made to improve this by asking students to repeat learning at home.

Abstract

This study examines directive speech acts in the form of commands and prohibitions used by Indonesian language teachers with liberal and conservative ideological orientations in classroom learning interactions. The study employs a qualitative research design with an ethnographic approach. The data were obtained from the utterances of seven liberal- and conservative-oriented teachers across four educational institutions at different levels (junior and senior high schools) in Malang City. The selection of teachers from different educational levels was intended to represent variations in pedagogical practices based on students’ developmental stages, while Malang City was chosen due to its diversity of educational institutions and academic cultures that allow for the emergence of varied ideological orientations and directive speech strategies, particularly commands and prohibitions. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal clear differences in the use of directive speech acts of commands and prohibitions between liberal and conservative teachers. Liberal-oriented teachers tend to employ indirect directive strategies that emphasize politeness, dialogue, and learner autonomy, thereby creating a more egalitarian and participatory classroom atmosphere. In contrast, conservative-oriented teachers more frequently use direct and explicit directive speech to maintain order, discipline, and clarity of instruction. Both groups demonstrate communicative flexibility by adjusting directive strategies to situational demands, indicating that the use of commands and prohibitions is dynamic and context-dependent. These findings affirm that directive speech acts of commands and prohibitions reflect teachers’ cultural values and ideological orientations and have important implications for the success of Indonesian language learning in the classroom.
