Abstract

Profesi guru wajib dilindungi dalam menjalankan tugas profesinya. Sementara di lain pihak peserta didik merasa lebih dijadikan korban oleh tindakan preventif-edukatif (tuchrecht) dari guru karena merasa telah menerima tindakan penganiayaan ringan baik secara fisik maupun psikis, serta menggunakan dasar perlindungan hukum UU No. 35 Tahun 2015 tentang perlindungan anak, sebagai dasar hukum untuk melaporkan guru tersebut sebagai perbuatan penganiayaan ringan terhadap anak. Diperlukan upaya perekonstruksian perlindungan profesi guru secara serius oleh pihak Pemerintah RI bersama Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat RI untuk mengambil kebijakan serius, yang oleh penulis diusulkan sebagai berikut : (1). Dibuatkan aturan kesepakatan bersama antara orang tua / wali peserta didik dengan pimpinan satuan pendidikan dimana guru bernaung, sehingga tindakan pendisiplinan guru terhadap peserta didik menjadi jelas dan terang batasannya (2). Pemerintah perlu mengamandemen UU No.14 Tahun 2005, tentang Guru agar dimasukkan dan diberikan pasal tentang hak imunitas (kekebalan hukum) ketika bekerja agar guru tidak mudah dikriminalisasi (3). Dilakukannya upaya harmonisasi hukum terhadap unsur catur wangsa : advokat, polisi, jaksa dan hakim, agar menempuh upaya restorative justice ketika hendak memproses laporan kriminalisasi terhadap profesi guru (4).Ditingkatkannya kinerja Dewan Kehormatan Kode Etik Profesi Guru pada organisasi profesi guru yakni Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) untuk mengadili perkara indisipliner guru profesional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced and the strategies implemented by Aqidah Akhlak teachers in strengthening students’ manners toward teachers in the digital era at MA Hasyim Asy’ari Bangsri. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon based on real conditions in the field. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, involving the principal, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and tenth-grade social science students as informants. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while the validity of the data was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that the main challenges faced by teachers include diverse student characteristics, low awareness of manners and etiquette, and the negative influence of internet and social media usage. In addition, teachers’ limited ability to supervise students outside the school environment, lack of parental control, and the influence of peer environments also become significant obstacles in strengthening students’ manners. To address these challenges, teachers implement several strategies, including providing role models (uswah hasanah), continuously reinforcing and habituating moral values, filtering and guiding the use of social media, and integrating moral values into local content subjects through the study of Aqidatul Awwam and Ta’limul Muta’allim.
