Abstract

Sorong City is a developing city, which in recent years has been intensively developing facilities and infrastructure in all fields. Some of the developments that are intensively carried out are road construction and housing settlement development. Sorong City, especially the Harapan Indah Complex area, is one of the developing areas that is prone to flooding and local inundation during the rainy season. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the drainage system in Harapan Indah in accommodating the maximum rain discharge for a certain period of time. The research method used is to process data obtained from the field and then process it using EPA-SWMM software to simulate drainage flow due to surface runoff that occurs. From the results of simulations using EPA-SWMM software, the condition of the drainage system in the Harapan Indah complex area is still often overflowing, obtained from the results of the analysis of regional channels on Jalan Cendrawasih most overflowing in the return period of 2 years, 5 years & 10 years. On Jalan Cendrawasih there are overflowing channels, namely 18 channels with a 2-year return period calculation, 24 channels with a 5-year return period calculation and 25 channels with a 10-year return period calculation.

Abstract

The Sorong Regency Government, through related agencies, is building, operating and maintaining a clean water distribution network in Sorong Regency, considering that population growth continues to increase and limited raw water sources have caused the clean water distribution system in Aimas District to experience several problems so that its operation cannot run optimally. This research aims to evaluate the performance of clean water distribution in the Aimas District, Sorong Regency in meeting the clean water needs of the Aimas District community. The method used is to collect primary and secondary data and then analyze it using Epanet 2.0 software to simulate the condition of the distribution network system in the research area. Based on the results of calculations, the raw water discharge in the research area is smaller than the customer's water discharge, the delivery time for clean water does not run consistently, serving the water needs of areas outside the Aimas District, so the water needs of the people in the Aimas District cannot be fully met. Simulation results using Epanet 2.0 software show that unstable flow velocity causes a decrease in flow velocity in the clean water distribution network system in Aimas District.

Abstract

Sorong City is a city that has an area of 1,105 km2, which is divided into 10 districts and 41 sub-districts, one of which is Klasabi Village, Sorong Manoi District, which has an area of 27.87 ha. Water is very important in everyday life; the earth's surface contains more water than land. Aquatic ecosystems are generally divided into freshwater, seawater, and brackish ecosystems. This research aims to analyze the water quality of drilled wells in Klasabi Village, Sorong Manoi District, according to PP No. 22 of 2021, Minister of Health No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010, and KEPMENKES No. 907 of 2002. And to plan solutions for water Drilled wells can still be used for people's daily needs. This research uses the Storet method, which is carried out by comparing water quality data with quality standards that have been determined according to their purpose using a water quality test tool consisting of pH, turbidity, TDS, salt, DO, and Fe. Physical and Chemical Parameter Test Results: Only 25% entered the class I quality standard, where this point was the Klasabi 4 sample point, while 75% entered the class II, III, and IV quality standard criteria, where this point was the Klasabi 1, Klasabi sample point 2, and Klasabi 3 according to the quality standards of Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 concerning the implementation of environmental protection and management.
