Abstract

This research aims to (1) the listening skills of young children in storytelling activities; (2) children are able to respond and communicate well through stories told by researchers; (3) see whether or not the story apron media has an influence on children's listening abilities. The design of this research method uses a one group pretest-posttest design research model, that in this type of method there is a pretest before the treatment is carried out. In this way, the results of the treatment can be known more accurately because they can be compared with the initial conditions before the treatment was carried out. The sample in this study was 30 class B children, but 15 people were the subjects and the child population was 40 people. The method used for collecting research data is through observation. The method for analyzing research data is the t-test. As a result of this research, the researcher concluded that there was an influence of learning using story apron media on the listening ability of group B children at Bunda Rinny Sartika Kindergarten 2024. It can be proven from the results of hypothesis calculations carried out during the posttest and the results of the data normality test. It can be seen that the variants are declared homogeneous. then when testing the hypothesis from the results of the t-test calculations, the value obtained or t_count>t_tabel or 3.43> 1.782 which can be interpreted as accepting〖H〗_and rejecting H_(0,) and from the results of this research hypothesis it states that there is a significant influence with the use story apron media on children's listening skills.

Abstract

Beginning reading skills are the simplest reading skills. Beginning reading skills include several activities such as recognizing letters and words, connecting them with sounds or voicing letters, syllables, and sentences formed in writing into oral form. The ability to read at the beginning is the basic skill of the child, if the basic ability is not strong then the period at the next stage the children have difficulty. This early reading ability is a provision for children to enter the next level. Researchers provide sandpaper letters as a learning medium that can help overcome the ability of beginning reading in children at Tk Vizahri. Sandpaper letter is one of the learning media used in the Montessori method as an exercise to build the muscle mechanism needed for the ability to hold and use stationery then the child's finger that has been trained through the activity of feeling the shapes of letters to complement the child's visual knowledge of letters. Based on the results of the study, the use of sandpaper letter media can be used to improve the initial reading skills of group B children at Vizahri Kindergarten which is proven through the normality test through one-sample Kolmogorov Smirnov with the sig value obtained. Smirnov Test > alpha level = 0.05. The data obtained is 0.725> 0.05 and the hypothesis test is obtained with the value of Thitung = 1.934> 1.720, and because dk = (n-1) = 19 and the real level ɑ = 0.05 so it can be concluded that Thitung> Ttabel (1.934) (1.720) thus the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant effect of using sandpaper letter media on the ability to read beginning in children 5-6 years in Vizahri Kindergarten

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of using loose parts media of mathematical logic intelligences in children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Hidayah District Medang Selayang School year 2023-2024. The type of sample selection used by researchers is using a Non-Probability sampling sample type, namely saturated sampling. The type off research used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest desaign using loose parts media. The research intruments and data collection techniques used were observation and documentation sheets. Based on the results of data analysis in the normality test using one sample kolmogorov-smirnov, the sig. Sirnov test > alpha level = 0,05, while the data obtained is 0.054 > 0.05. based on the results of the hypothesis, The Tcount value = 1.906 > 1.721 and because dk = (n-1) = 21 and the real level of alpha = 0.05 so it can be conccluded that the value of T.count > T.Table, thus hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence of the use of loose parts media on mathematical logic intelligences in children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Hidayah District. Medan Selayang school year 2023-2024.
