Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, e-learning has emerged as a pivotal mode of instruction. However, fostering engagement in these digital environments presents unique challenges. This study delves into the dynamics of engagement in e-learning, aiming to unravel the multifaceted factors that influence student participation and to propose effective strategies for improvement from a broad sample of learners with qualitative insights from educators and students. The quantitative aspect utilizes a structured survey to gauge the impact of technological, pedagogical, and personal factors on engagement levels. Concurrently, qualitative data, gathered through interviews and focus groups, offers a nuanced understanding of the experiences and perceptions shaping engagement. The study’s findings reveal a complex interplay of factors, including the quality of digital content, interaction opportunities, feedback mechanisms, and individual learner characteristics. Notably, the research highlights the critical role of personalized learning experiences and the need for robust support systems. The discussion synthesizes these insights, outlining practical strategies for educators and institutions to enhance engagement in e-learning. These strategies encompass the adoption of adaptive learning technologies, fostering collaborative learning communities, and providing targeted support for diverse learner needs. The study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on e-learning, offering valuable guidance for optimizing engagement in these digital learning spaces.

Abstract

Companies, business entities, and institutions—both private and government—need archival activities because they are very important. To do it well requires improvement and refinement to achieve goals. All organizations, both government and private, must have complete and accurate data and information, knowing how important archiving is to assist leaders in making decisions or dealing with problems at the Larangan District Office, Tangerang City. Especially in the general section, archiving and document activity processes are still conventional, so it take a long time to complete. Because data is spread across many places and uses many formats, the process of selecting and reporting data is difficult to process well. This web-based electronic archiving system will be created using the Laravel framework and implementing the MVC(Model-View-Controller) architecture as a powerful and widely used software design pattern that encourages separation of concerns, code reuse, and maintainability enabling the archiving of incoming mail and mail. out serves as a data storage location. Therefore, the new e-archive system is expected to reduce errors when processing data, make the search process faster, and make reports that are in accordance with existing data.

Abstract

The concealment of secret messages by inserting messages into an image file or more commonly known as steganography is the development of cryptography. This hidden secret message with steganography does not attract attention because the message is simply inserted into a file. Many methods are used to hide messages with steganography. Some methods of steganographic algorithms use a combination to perform the task of concealment of secret messages. From the existing method, of course has its own shortcomings and advantages. The method used is LSB (Least Significant Bit) method, RC4 algorithm and Encoding Base64. This method combines cryptographic techniques with steganography techniques. The message is encrypted before it is inserted into a file. Implementation of this method can later help users to send messages safely without being noticed by others.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology today, we must continue to follow the development of the digital transformation era, where educational institutions need a strong system to manage information efficiently. Academic Information Systems are an important framework that helps educational organizations simplify their functions, improve communication, improve student services, process student and teacher data in schools, and support decision-making processes. The purpose of creating this system at Avicena Rajeg Vocational School is to facilitate the administrative process, especially data management because previously there was no system to help students and teachers manage data. The authors used information gathering methods to conduct their research. This method collects data from the authorities to find out the root cause of the problem, and then analyzes the data. In order to obtain the data, the authors conducted direct observations in schools, the collection and study of documents—documentation that will help with this research—and interviews with relevant parties in schools are necessary. At this point, some problems were found with the management of school data and solutions to these problems. The results of this research will help in the development of a more efficient academic information system. The result is that with a data management system for teachers and students, everything will be more organized and more informed.

Abstract

Perpustakaan memungkinkan siswa dan masyarakat membaca dan mencari informasi, serta menawarkan peminjaman dan pengembalian buku. Perpustakaan pada SMAN 24 Kab Tangerang masih menggunakan sistem manual untuk menyimpan dan meminjamkan buku karena menyebabkan proses menjadi lambat, rawan kesalahan, dan sulit dipantau. Data mudah hilang atau rusak karena tidak ada backup. Pustakawan harus bekerja lebih keras, sementara pengguna menghadapi antrean dan layanan yang kurang efisien. Selain itu, sistem manual tidak cocok untuk jumlah koleksi atau anggota yang besar dan meningkatkan biaya operasional. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pengumpulan data ini, diperlukan sistem yang lebih akurat, maka diputuskan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi perpustakaan yang berbasis internet untuk mempermudah proses pendataan. Sistem Perpustakaan ini dibangun dengan metode Agile sebagai metodologi pengembangan software yang fleksible dan efisien, dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan datanya diolah menggunakan database MySQL, serta SLiMS 9 bulian (Senayan Library Management System). Hasil dari mengimplemantasikan sebuah website berbasis QR-Code berhasil meningkatkan tingkat akurasi dalam memudahkan pencarian keberadaan buku karena adanya Fasilitas Online Public Acces Cataloging (OPAC) pada Otomasi Digital Library, serta Digital Library juga memberikan kemudahan pembuatan basis data koleksi sehingga akan memudahkan petugas dalam menambahkan data koleksi buku baru. Karena sistem informasi perpustakaan dibuat untuk membantu proses peminjaman dan pengembalian buku supaya lancer dan mempermudah dan mencegah kesalahan atau masalah dalam penginputan data dan laporan perpustakaan.

Abstract

With great advances in the world of information technology in the industrial era 4.0, efficiency and accuracy in the production process are crucial factors to increase the company's competitiveness. One of the important aspects is material monitoring, especially in the material judgement process in the TBR Plant (Truck and Bus Radial) Division, which requires an information system that supports the material assessment, starting from the hold process, judgement, making reports on the results of the TBR judging plant monitoring to superiors. This study aims to design and develop a material judgement monitoring application based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology integrated with the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system to unravel errors in data control, inaccurate reports, and delays in finding the required data are all the results of manual systems. With the application of RFID, every material can be tracked in real time from the inspection process to the production line. Integration with MES enables data synchronization between production systems and enterprise information systems, supporting fast and accurate decision-making. The results of the implementation show an increase in the efficiency of material recording time, the accuracy of data judgement, and the reduction of human error in the tracking process. This application is expected to be an effective digital solution in supporting a more transparent, efficient, and digitized production system in the manufacturing industry environment.

Abstract

A Smart Grid (SG) is an electrical infrastructure that functions similarly to a traditional power grid but includes scalable and ubiquitous two-way communications, timely control capabilities, large-scale integration of dispersed resources, and resource efficiency. Pervasive smart monitoring technologies, autonomous equipment defect detecting, and self-healing are all included in the SG. It is intelligent infrastructure because of features such as 'Wireless Automatic Meter Reading' (WAMR), power system stability monitoring, distributed energy resource optimization, and Demand Response system applications. Given some of these distinguishing characteristics, SGs are without a doubt the world's future power infrastructure. A smart grid may link millions of people and devices in a network, necessitating its robustness, reliability, and security. Because of the long-range communication over open networks, one of the primary issues of today's smart grid systems is security. Cybercriminals, hackers, and terrorists are attempting to assault this national infrastructure in order to obtain control over automated energy monitoring and remote control for personal benefit. This research article provides a full overview of Smart Grids, including their design, methodology, and communication protocols, but the attention is mostly on the cyber-attacks that have been carried out and the remedies that have been advised for smart grids. Finally, we cover the numerous cyber security difficulties, as well as the topics that remain unsolved in the literature and the present solution area, as well as prospective research gaps.
