Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to determine the evaluation of learning outcomes that have used LMS Schoology in the learning process compared to the previous semester on Computer Ap-plication Course that has not been using LMS. The evaluation is seen from the ability of lecturers in the use of LMS Schoology, to know the ability of students in the use of LMS Schoology, and to know the communication activity of lecturers and students in LMS Schoology. LMS Schoology is used as part of the blended learning model, which is collaborate class learning with online learn-ing. The research used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection tool was questionnaire is given to students who have used LMS Schoology. The study was conducted on English Language Students of 2nd Semester year academic 2016/2017. Data analysis technique used in analyzing questionnaire score is by calculating the percentage of the answer. As a basis for decision making on the assessment of the use of LMS Schoology, the qualification criteria adapted from Arikunto were used. The results showed that lecturers have been able to use the basic features of LMS. Stu-dents are able to use the features of downloading material and uploading tasks. Lecturers who also act as observer and researcher still have not maximized some of the existing features provided by the LMS. The lecturers and students were less active as lecturer still use direct communication rather than communication through news update on LMS. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi hasil pembelajaran yang telah menerapkan LMS Schoology di dalam proses pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan matakuliah Computer Application semester sebelumnya yang belum menggunakan LMS. Evaluasi yang di-maksud dilihat dari kemampuan dosen dalam penggunaan LMS Schoology, untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan LMS Schoology, dan untuk mengetahui keaktifan komunikasi dosen dan mahasiswa di dalam LMS Schoology. LMS Schoology digunakan sebagai bagian dari model pembelajaran blended learning, yaitu pembelajaran di kelas yang memadukan dengan pembelajaran online. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Alat pengum-pul data berupa angket yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang telah menggunakan LMS Schoolo-gy. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap Mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris Semester 2 TA 2016/2017. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam menganalisis skor angket yaitu dengan menghitung persentase jawaban. Sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan tentang penilaian penggunaan LMS Schoology, digunakan kriteria kualifikasi yang diadaptasi dari Arikunto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen sudah mampu menggunakan fitur dasar LMS. Mahasiswa mampu menggunakan fitur mengunduh materi dan mengunggah tugas. Keaktifan dosen dan mahasiswa masih kurang karena dosen masih menggunakan komunikasi secara langsung daripada melalui pembaruan kabar melalui LMS.

Abstract

Popularitas jejaring sosial online memberikan dampak yang luar biasa di berbagai bidang, salah satunya berdampak pada cara perusahaan melakukan pemasaran. Perusahaan kecil menengah pun secara massif menggunakan media online seperti website, e-commerce dan media sosial sebagai media promosi mereka. PAP’A (Panti Asuhan Putri ‘Aisyiyah) Catering merupakan catering yang memiliki pelanggan yang cukup banyak dan dari berbagai kalangan di kota Malang. Namun sayangnya, PAP’A Catering belum memiliki website dan akun media sosial sebagai media promosi. Saat ini promosi dilakukan dengan menyebarkan brosur dan dari mulut ke mulut. Maka dari itu diperlukan akun media sosial, salah satunya adalah Instagram untuk Bisnis dan Facebook, implementasi website dan akun media sosial yang telah dikembangkan, dan pendampingan kepada mitra selama proses pengabdian terkait pengisian konten, respon di akun media sosial, dan perkembangan web secara remote. Website dan media sosial akan digunakan untuk menampilkan produk-produk yang dibuat oleh PAP’A Catering. Produk website merupakan hasil pembuatan akun Gmail Business yang berisi profil bisnis.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important role in supporting the improvement of the economy of Wringinsongo village, Malang Regency. MSME production of papaya chips and MSME of production of jemblem are currently the leading products in Wringinsongo village and have very good prospects. The main problems that are faced by the business development of MSME papaya chips production and MSME jemblem production are the production process is very simple, there is no product development or diversification, the number of product turnover is limited and the quality is not guaranteed, and the condition of the equipment is very simple and not feasible. In addition, only one type of product is produced and made according to their own tastes and there is no good packaging so that they are less attractive to consumers. The solutions to the problem solving carried out in this community service are by providing training and assistance on how to innovate products and diversify products, provide assistance with machines and equipment that support the production process, train how to design several packaging models, labeling, and brands for the product to be produced to make it more attractive, and train the development of effective sales and promotions through online marketing through several social media such as Instagram and Facebook. The results after training and mentoring show that there is an additional variety of product types and packaging that can directly increase sales turnover.

Abstract

Malang Raya, yang berada di Jawa Timur, adalah salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang memiliki keanekaragaman tempat wisata. Tentunya, para wisatawan yang akan berkunjung ke Malang Raya membutuhkan waktu yang tidak sedikit karena beraneka ragamnya tempat wisata di Malang Raya. Serta, memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal biaya dan waktu dalam melakukan kunjungan wisata di Malang Raya. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dibuatlah sistem rekomendasi tempat wisata di Wilayah Malang Raya, yang meliputi Kota Malang, Kabupaten Malang, dan Kota Batu dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering. Tujuan dari sistem rekomendasi ini adalah untuk mengelompokkan objek wisata berdasarkan lokasi dari tempat wisata tersebut, jumlah wisatawan nusantara dan wisatawan asing, rating, harga tiket, fasilitas, dan akses jalan menuju tempat wisata tersebut. Penentuan nilai cluster pada sistem rekomendasi ini didasarkan pada jarak minimum atau jarak terdekat antar objek data, yang berdasarkan jumlah wisatawan nusantara dan wisatawan asing, rating, harga tiket, fasilitas, dan akses jalan menuju tempat wisata tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode K-Means Clustering dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan cluster rekomendasi tempat wisata di Malang Raya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dari 2, 3, 4, dan 5 cluster yang dilakukan di Kota Malang, Kota Batu, dan Kabupaten Malang, terdapat 5 cluster yang memperoleh nilai lebih baik/optimal di Kota Malang. Di Kota Batu, 4 cluster mencapai nilai lebih baik/optimal. Di Kabupaten Malang, terdapat 5 cluster yang memperoleh nilai lebih baik/optimal. Sistem ini dibuat untuk memberikan hasil dari pengelompokan objek wisata di Malang Raya, yang kemudian outputnya dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi bagi wisatawan yang akan berkunjung ke Malang Raya

Abstract

Tulusbesar village is one of the villages in Tumpang sub-district, Malang district, where the livelihoods of the residents are mostly agriculture, animal husbandry and tofu production. Currently, tofu production MSMEs are one of the products being developed because they have potential and business opportunities and can improve the economic sector of Tulusbesar village. The aim of the community service program for tofu production MSMEs in Tulusbesar village is to help overcome the main problems that hamper the growth of tofu production MSMEs in Tulusbesar Village, such as the lack of diversification or product development with poor quality, the absence of management and bookkeeping activities. finances and promotional activities are still limited to word of mouth. The method of service activities applied is by conducting a problem survey, followed by analysis and implementation of problem solving with assistance and support for innovation and product diversification in accordance with consumer desires, providing assistance with machines and equipment that can improve the production process by combining appropriate technology and a touch of science and technology, business management training and financial bookkeeping and making packaging and labels as well as promotion through online marketing using social media such as Instagram. The results obtained from this community service include increased sales and product quality.

Abstract

Desa Wringinsongo, Kecamatan Tumpang, memiliki potensi ekonomi yang tinggiberupa sumber daya alam dan juga telah melakukan pengelolaan desa dengansangat baik. Kondisi ini memungkinkan terjadinya transformasi Wringinsongomenjadi Smart Village yang dapat lebih meningkatkan fungsi dan pelayanan desa.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini membantu meningkatakan pengetahuanperangkat desa dan pengoptimalan penggunaan aplikasi Smart Village(SIMRIwinK). Dengan memperhatikan aspek manajemen dan aspek produksikegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikanpengetahuan berupa ceramah dan praktik langsung penggunaan SIMRIwinKterhadap sepuluh orang perangkat desa dan perwakilan masyarakat desa. Hasilkegiatan pengabdian diperoleh bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakatmemberikan manfaat terbesar yakni 84% pada aspek manajemen aplikaisSIMRIwinK memberikan kemudahan, dan peningkatan pengetahuan perangkatdesa menggunakan SIMRIwinK sebesar 82%. Serta dampak kegiatan pengabdianini perangkat desa sangat terbantu semakin meningkatnya penggunaan aplikasiSIMRIwinK sebesar 67%.

Abstract

Data is the most valuable commodity. Data management is not only a necessity but also a crucial foundation in responding to and optimizing the potential of an organization, including the Information Technology Department of Malang State Polytechnic. The Information Technology Department has a data volume continues to increase significantly, one related to student data. No system can display student data concisely, making the monitoring and evaluation process difficult, for such as accreditation. The development of a dashboard for monitoring and evaluating student data in the Information Technology Department is a strategic step to increase the effectiveness of data management. The dashboard provides a visualization interface that allows for fast and efficient data monitoring and analysis. This study uses the design thinking method. This approach is suitable because users are involved in ensuring that the dashboard is designed according to needs so that it can support data-based decision-making. The user acceptance test method aims to assess several parameters, including information, design, use, and user loyalty. The test results showed that 89% of respondents agreed that the dashboard was considered feasible and met the assessment criteria based on the parameters tested.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have a major impact on the use of technology in various fields, one of which is education. Information technology is used as a means to simplify the teaching and learning process to the management of educational institutions. Almost all educational institutions have utilized information technology, one of which is the application of an integrated information system to handle administrative affairs of educational institutions. TPQ Madinah Ma'arif 10 An-Nur is one of the TPQ that has implemented advances in information technology. This is reflected in the use of value input information systems and the printing of student report cards. Over time, this feature has not met the needs of the management in carrying out TPQ operational activities. TPQ institutions do not yet have a system that handles the presence of students.
