Abstract

Kondisi awal di lingkungan SMPN 1 Talun keadaannya masih banyak lahan yang kurang dikembangkan secara maksimal. Sampah plastik yang berasal dari makanan dan minuman yang dikonsumsi oleh warga sekolah jumlahnya sangat banyak dan hal ter tersebut mempengaruhi lingkungan sekolah yang kurang sehat. Dalam membentuk pola pikir peduli terhadap lingkungan dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan dnegan penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 13-17 Maret 2023 dengan mitra sasaran siswa SMPN 1 Talun Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode pelaksanaan dengan pendekatan yang meliputi:1) Observasi Awal dengan mitra mengenai kebutuhan dan kondisi mitra, 2) Sosialisasi awal bertujuan menjaring peluang mitra sebagai bahan kajian dan, 3) Pelatihan dan Penyuluhan pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), 4) Pendampingan mitra bertujuan untuk pengembangan. Hasil lembar angket karakter peduli lingkungan siswa pada indikator afektif lingkungan (sikap peduli lingkungan) sebesar 85% dan indikator perilaku (komitmen nyata pro lingkungan) sebesar 80% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil evaluasi program kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh tim bahwa pelaksanaan program PKM dengan melibatkan mitra dapat disimpulkan seluruh program sudak terlaksana dan diaplikasikan dengan baik.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected education worldwide, including in Indonesia. The sudden transition from face-to-face to online learning created various learning difficulties, ranging from cognitive and technical to psychosocial challenges. This literature review aims to analyze the implementation of diagnostic tests as a strategy to identify and overcome students’ learning difficulties after the pandemic. The review covers national and international studies published between 2020 and 2024. Findings indicate that diagnostic tests are effective in detecting learning loss, specific weaknesses, and provide a solid foundation for designing more targeted remedial strategies. However, implementation still faces challenges such as limited resources, teachers’ diagnostic competence, and policy support. This review emphasizes the need to integrate diagnostic assessment into the national education system and to strengthen teacher capacity.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) had been developed in various fields of human life. The use of AI brought the world towards a digital transformation that had not been imagined before. One form of AI development in the fields of biology and biology education brought the development of science in both fields far beyond expectations. The use of AI in the fields of biology and biology education had utilized many new methods and discoveries that are beneficial to humans. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of AI in biology and biology learning. The literature review method was used to analyze and synthesize research results from a new perspective. The results of the analysis of various pieces of our literature found various uses of AI. In the field of biology, including AI in the field of biology used for biological data analysis, genetic data analysis, investigation of complex biological phenomena (synthetic biology and system biology), bioinformatics, disease detection, and diagnosis. AI had been utilized in various fields of biological sciences such as medical, agriculture, animal husbandry, and industry for product development and automation in the production process utilizing IoT. There were 24 types of AI utilization in education, especially biology learning, which can be grouped into six groups: personalized and tutoring learning (teaching assistance/tutor), evaluation and assessment, teaching media, enriching learning, virtual classes, and learning aids.
