Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis STEM dengan bantuan ICT untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre- experiment dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan “one group Pretest-posttest design”. Sampel terdiri dari 6 kelas dan terpilih satu kelas sebanyak 32 siswa. Pada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di peroleh skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 69,03 dan skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 82,44 dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,45 dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan pada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa diperoleh skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 74,63 dan skor rata-rata posttest  sebesar 87,97 dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan  Peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi diperoleh prosentasi diatas 66%, keterampilan komunikasi diperoleh hasil sebesar 67,13% dan keterampilan kolaborasi diperoleh sebesar 74,75% dan termasuk kategori baik. Tanggapan Siswa diperoleh hasil lebih dari 61% yaitu sebesar 68,06% maka termasuk kategori baik pula. Untuk tingkat efektifitas keterlaksanaan pembelajaran  diperoleh hasil diatas 61% yaitu sebesar 72,63%. Maka dapat disimpulkan Pembelajaran IPA BerbasisScience, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic (STEM)berbantuanICT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Abad 21 dan berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan teknologi terkini yang dapat menjadi solusi bagi pendidik untuk menyajikan pembelajaran yang inovatif, informatif, menarik, dan dapat menyajikan objek maya secara virtual 3D dalam bentuk nyata serta disajikan secara real time (waktu nyata), sehingga mampu menyajikan konsep abstrak menjadi lebih nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran Biologi menggunakan teknologi AR berbasis Android pada konsep sistem saraf yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi.  Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan menurut Akker dengan empat tahapan, yaitu tahapan penelitian pendahuluan (Preliminary Research), tahapan prototipe (Prototyping Stage), tahapan evaluasi sumatif (Summative Evaluation) serta refleksi sistematik dan dokumentasi (Systematic Reflection and Documentation). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas tes (penguasaan konsep) dan non tes (lembar penilaian ahli, angket, dan wawancara).Data kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Biologi berbasis AR yang dikembangkan menurut penilaian ahli termasuk  layak (valid) digunakan dengan ketegori sangat baik untuk aspek media, kategori baik untuk aspek konten, dan kategori sangat baik untuk aspek pedagogik. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi dalam pembelajaran Biologi media AR yang dikembangkan tergolong efektif dan dapat meningkatkan pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 76%.

Abstract

This study has a goal to implement entrepreneurship-based biology learning with an awareness of the sustainability of resources and the environment known as ecopreneurship. Ecopreneurship biology learning activities with local resources are expected to foster student entrepreneurial interest. Quasi-experimental method with purposive sampling technique was used in this study with tenth-grade students at senior high school involved as the subjects. Ecopreneurship biology learning is carried out through five stages (introduction, concept formation, concept integration, concept application, and product exhibition. The research instruments were questionnaire on entrepreneurial interest, observation of learning activities, and assessment of students' ecopreneur products. The findings show that the student entrepreneurial interest increases by 9.58% (low category), 76% of students are actively involved during the learning process, and the average score of ecopreneur-product making is 3.1 (good category)

Abstract

The presence of rule violations at SDN 2 Rancabango prompted this research. Additionally, the inconsistent enforcement of school regulations has led to numerous infractions by students. This study aims to understand the implementation of school rules through the use of rewards and punishments in fostering student discipline at SDN 2 Rancabango, Tarogong Kaler District, Garut Regency. The research method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach, which involves working with data by recording, collecting, organizing, searching for patterns, identifying important aspects, and analyzing them in written form. Based on observations, interviews, and documentation, it can be concluded that the implementation of school rules, along with the use of rewards and punishments, impacts student discipline at SDN 2 Rancabango. Effective reward systems can motivate students to adhere to school regulations. Every student appreciates rewards, making them a powerful method to ensure compliance with school rules. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan riset pada mahasiswa PGSD melalui implementasi PjBL pada mata kuliah IPA Terapan. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan 38 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Negeri Semarang yang mengikuti perkuliahan IPA Terapan. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, membersihkan data, mengelompokan data, menganalisis data, menafsirkan data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Negeri Semarang memiliki keterampilan riset dengan kategori cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan riset pada tahapan pelaporan, kemudian tahapan persiapan, dan tahap pelaksanaan berturut-turut merupakan tahap riset yang sulit untuk dilakukan mahasiswa. Rekomendasi berdasar hasil penelitian ini, yaitu institusi pendidikan perlu memperkuat pembekalan riset pada mahasiswa melalui program perkuliahan dan di luar perkuliahan, dosen juga perlu membiasakan mahasiswa melalukan riset dan mendorong mahasiswa mengikuti berbagai kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan riset seperti kegiatan seminar, pelatihan/workshop dan kegiatan study club yang dilakukan organisasi kemahasiswaan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the Technological Pedagogical and Science Knowledge-Contextual (TPASK-C) practicum model in improving the self-efficacy and research skills of prospective biology teachers. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Research data were collected using tests and non-tests. Test data were used to collect research skills data. Self-efficacy data were collected using questionnaires. Research data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques, as well as effect-size analysis, to analyze the effectiveness of the treatment given to the tested variables. The results of the study found that the TPASK-C practicum model made a significant contribution to the formation of self-efficacy and research skills in prospective biology teacher students. The results of the t-test on the achievement of self-efficacy and research skills showed a sig. α <0.005, which indicated a significant difference between the two classes tested. Effect size testing showed Cohen's d values ​​(1.338 and 1.469), indicating that TPASK-C is effective in equipping students with self-efficacy and research skills. The results of this study are expected to be an alternative practicum model that can be widely applied in teacher training institutions (LPTK) to facilitate efforts to improve self-efficacy and research skills in prospective biology teacher students in Indonesia.

Abstract

Stunting is a symptom of chronic malnutrition that results in impaired growth and development in children. One of the economical nutritional sources in the effort to prevent stunting is through the utilization of the moringa plant. This plant is proven to have good nutritional content as an alternative or supplement in stunting prevention efforts. The objective of this Community Service Program (CSP) is to empower the community, especially the partner group of cadres and members of the Melati Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in Wonosari Village, Ngaliyan District, Semarang. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, through socialization and training activities, was used in the implementation of this CSP. The target participants in this program were 12 cadres of the Melati Posyandu in Wonosari Village, Ngaliyan District, Semarang, with a total of 50 target children, 20 of whom were indicated to be malnourished. The results of this CSP show an increase in nutritional and stunting knowledge among the Melati Posyandu cadres. Furthermore, the participants also experienced an improvement in their skills in processing and cultivating the moringa plant as an affordable and accessible alternative nutritional source. Based on this CSP, the utilization of moringa as a nutritional supplement to overcome malnutrition and stunting can be recommended.

Abstract

Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk melatih pemanfaatan dan budidaya tanaman obat tradisional yang memiliki potensi sebagai imunomodulator antigen Covid-19. Tanaman obat tradisional seperti jahe, kunyit, dan kumis kucing memiliki potensi sebagai obat alternatif Covid-19 terutama untuk meningkatkan sistem imun tubuh. Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan dan budidaya tanaman obat tradisional imunomodulator antigen Covid-19. Peserta yang terlibat dalam PKM ini sebanyak 14 orang tua siswa Yayasan Fallah An-Nuur Desa Sindanghaji. Hasil PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa sudah mengetahui beberapa jenis tanaman obat tradisional tetapi belum mengetahui manfaat dan cara penggunaanya, partisipan juga belum mengetahui bahwa beberapa tanaman obat tradisional seperti jahe, kunyit, temu lawak dan meniran bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan sistem imun yang dapat meminimalisir dari potensi terkena Covid-19. Partisipan kegiatan PKM mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan serta budidaya tanaman obat tradisional yang berpotensi sebagai imunomodulator antigen Covid-19.

Abstract

The results of the 2018 Program For International Student Assessment (PISA) survey show that the scientific literacy ability of Indonesian students is still low. One of the factors that are directly related to learning activities that affect the level of scientific literacy ability is the use of textbooks. The purpose of this study was to determine the aspect of scientific literacy that appears in the Biology textbook for class XII SMA on biotechnology material. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The results of data analysis showed that the category of science knowledge was the category that most appeared, namely 46.4% (book X), 39.75% (book Y), and 60.5% (book Z), the category of investigation of the nature of science was 2, 76% (book X), 6.83% (book Y), and 5.09% (book Z), science as a way of thinking is 12.15% (book X), 14.9 (book Y), and 10 ,82% (book Z), then the interaction of science, technology, and society by 38.67% (book X), 38.5% (book Y), and 23.56% (book Z). This data illustrates that the 12th grade biology textbooks used in high school have not shown balanced proportions.
