Abstract

Kinship Care is a form of childcare by close relatives such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, or siblings when biological parents cannot fulfill their parenting responsibilities. In Indonesia, Kinship Care often arises in the context of poverty, migration, parental death, or the inability of parents to care for their children for various reasons, including death, illness, or legal issues. This research is a desk study using Wilhelm Dilthey's hermeneutic analysis method to explore three aspects, namely Erlebnis (experience), Ausdruck (expression), and Verstehen (understanding), in Surah Ali 'Imran verses 37 and 44. The results of this study conclude that in the Kinship Care pattern, Zakariya has four patterns in caring for Maryam, security and support, space for children, financial security, dialogue and appreciation for children. Then, suggestions for further research related to Kinship Care studies to explore broader patterns using different hermeneutical theories and different figures in the Qur'an can also be taken in relevance to different contexts so that they can reach ideal patterns for Kinship Care studies.

Abstract

This study was conducted to try to understand Hasan Hanafi's hermeneutic thinking in the context of the interpretation of the Qur'an. Given that the Qur'an is a holy book that deserves to be applied throughout all times and in various places. There are various methods that can be used to interpret the Qur'an. One of them is the hermeneutic approach. Not a few hermeneutic figures who offer various concepts, from orientalists to Muslim scholars themselves. However, the interpretation of the Qur'an with hermeneutics that is relevant to the slogan above is an interpretation that can provide solutions to the problems of the people, especially Muslims. Among the theories that are appropriate and in line with these interests are the hermeneutics offered by Hanafi, namely the emancipatory critical hermeneutics. This model of hermeneutics is a science that determines the relationship between consciousness (critical attitude) and its object, namely the holy book. It has a lasting stage called the historical consciousness phase, the eiditic phase of consciousness, and the practical phase of consciousness. Hermeneutics is a science that can explain God's revelation from letters to reality, from logical to practical, from words to the world, and from God's thoughts into real life.

Abstract

I'jaz is the ability to subdue and show himself above others. When this term was applied to the Qur'an, the holy book brought by the Prophet was able to subdue all the writings that ever existed, while also crowning the Qur'an as a miracle as well as the most noble and undeniable book. The miracles of the Qur'an cannot be matched. This is manifested in aspects of the beauty of language, the stories contained in it, in addition to monotheism, the rules of the Shari'a, and so on, as well as scientific information that is extraordinarily complete when examined in depth. To appreciate the miracles of the Qur'an, every Muslim should fulfill the rights of the Qur'an by reading, memorizing, studying, analyzing and applying it in daily life as a guide for those who are pious.
