Abstract

Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Early detection of this disease is crucial to improving patients' chances of recovery. In this study, lung cancer prediction was conducted using the C4.5 algorithm applied to a secondary dataset from Kaggle. The dataset consists of 150 records, divided into 80% for training data and 20% for testing data. The classification process was performed using RapidMiner software. The results indicate that smoking is the most significant factor influencing lung cancer prediction. The generated decision tree model demonstrated a relatively high accuracy level, making it a useful tool for assisting in the early detection of lung cancer in patients

Abstract

Transaction data regarding product sales every day will continue to increase and are usually only used as archives, not properly utilized the sales transaction data. The very large number of sales transactions makes it impossible for humans to read and analyze manually. Data regarding sales transactions, if dig deeper into the transaction data, will definitely get important information, such as buying patterns made by consumers. With these problems, therefore we need a system to manage product sales transaction data, based on the tendency of products that appear simultaneously in a transaction using an a priori algorithm. Market Basket Analysis is the process of analyzing transaction data to obtain product purchasing patterns with other products that are usually frequently purchased by consumers, as well as to obtain correlations and associations between these product items. The a priori algorithm is used to obtain an association rule for data mining, where the rules for a combination of an item are calculated for their support and confidence values. With the a priori algorithm that is used, it can find product recommendations from the calculation of the frequent value of a product with other products based on consumer purchase transactions. The results of this study are able to analyze the pattern of product purchases made by consumers and can provide convenience in making decisions for future marketing strategies.

Abstract

The selection of the best salesperson is a critical component in enhancing sales performance and maintaining a company’s competitiveness. However, this process is often hindered by subjective assessments and difficulties in objectively comparing candidates. This study aims to apply two Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods, ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment System) and SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) to evaluate and rank 15 sales candidates based on six criteria: Work Quality, Creativity, Initiative, Teamwork, Expertise, and Cost Efficiency. Qualitative assessment data were converted into quantitative values and analyzed using both methods to obtain final scores and rankings. The results indicate that the top-ranked candidates using the ARAS method are Lia Husna (A7), Eriza (A13), and Dodi (A3), while the SMART method identifies Septian (A5), Zainal (A2), and Lia Husna (A7) as the top performers. The difference in rankings is attributed to the weight distribution and the methods’ sensitivity to attribute values—SMART emphasizes high values in heavily weighted criteria, whereas ARAS evaluates the relative ratio against the ideal solution. Correlation analysis between both methods reveals partial alignment, suggesting that integrating multiple approaches strengthens result validation. Overall, the dual-method approach enhances selection objectivity and provides a more robust foundation for strategic decision-making in salesperson performance management.

Abstract

Sistem pemesanan yang di jalankan pada pelayanan jasa cetak Kencana Foto saat ini adalah dengan cara datang langsung ke tempat atau melalui media Whatsapp dan telefon, sehingga pemesanan yang di lakukan menjadi kurang praktis dan menghabiskan banyak waktu. Selain itu juga terdapat permasalahan pada bukti transaksi masih menggunakan nota kertas sehingga bukti transaksi Konsumen sering hilang dan bisa terjadinya kesalahan dalam pencatatan dikarenakan kelalaian atau human error. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis akan membuat rancang bangun sistem informasi pelayanan jasa percetakan berbasis web menggunakan metode waterfall pada percetakan kencana foto. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Waterfall. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, dengan adanya Sistem pemesanan yang di jalankan pada pelayanan jasa cetak Kencana Foto, maka akan memudahkan konsumen dalam melakukan pemesanan lebih praktis dan tidak menghabiskan banyak waktu karena tanpa harus datang langsung ke lokasi. Dengan adanya Sistem pemesanan yang di jalankan pada pelayanan jasa cetak Kencana Foto maka dapat mempermudah konsumen dalam melakukan transaksi serta bukti transaksi dari konsumen dapat tersimpan di database yang mencegah terjadinya kelalaian atau human error serta dapat membuat laporan tanpa menggunakan sistem pencatatan pada buku laporan dan tidak mengakibatkan kesulitan dalam mencari data konsumen yang kemungkinan bisa mengakibatkan kerugian bagi perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah dalam penyimpanan data surat dan dokumen di Yayasan Raudhatut Tauhid dengan mengimplementasikan sebuah aplikasi penyimpanan data elektronik berbasis web. Saat ini, lembaga tersebut masih menggunakan metode manual dalam penyimpanan dokumen, menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mencari dan menjaga keamanan serta ketertiban surat-surat tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Waterfall digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi penyimpanan data elektronik. Diharapkan dengan aplikasi ini, staf administrasi dapat dengan mudah menyimpan data siswa-siswi secara terorganisir dan terlindungi dari risiko kehilangan dan kerusakan dokumen. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam penyimpanan dokumen serta mempermudah akses dan pencarian data. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penerapan teknologi informasi dalam pengelolaan arsip di lembaga pendidikan dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi lembaga serupa dalam mengatasi masalah serupa.

Abstract

LP3ES Bookstore which has been publishing books since 1972. In the process of selling books at this time it is still done offline by coming to the store and online via Instagram social media. By using a system like this, the transaction process that takes place at the LP3ES Bookstore takes a little longer to carry out the sales and reporting processes which are still done manually. So that improvements are needed to improve the quality of company services in order to ensure the convenience of transactions through system development. From the problems that occurred in the LP3ES Bookstore, the author created a web-based book sales information system using the Object Orientied Analysis and Design (OOAD) method. By applying the OOAD method in the development of the application. Information can be more easily provided to consumers, thereby increasing time efficiency in making book purchases at the LP3ES Bookstore.

Abstract

Technology is often used by the public to share and find information on the internet through social media, websites, and others. The internet allows people to access information regardless of time and place, wherever and whenever, but one of the negative impacts that often occurs with the presence of the internet is the spread of false information (hoax). Sometimes it is very difficult to distinguish whether the information is true or false (hoax). The impact of the spread of false information is unrest and division in society. This study aims to design and create a website based system that can be used to check whether the information spread is true or false (hoax) by using Single Page Application (SPA) technology with extreme programming as its development method. This research produces a system that can make it easier for people to distinguish between false and true information.

Abstract

Helpdesk is a complementary part of a service function, and is responsible as a source of solving problems or other issues, but problems at PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) is still the manual IT helpdesk system for data collection and recording of reports on hardware and software repair services as well as requests for computer supplies that complicate employee productivity. The lack of good work productivity is thought to be due to the inadequate IT helpdesk system for data collection and recording of reports on hardware & software repair services and requests for computer supplies. This research was made using the waterfall method and the analysis was carried out by means of interviews and system surveys that were running and data collection was carried out to obtain the required information. The design method focuses on developing models using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) model such as Use case diagrams. Sequence Diagram s, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The results of applying the method in developing the IT helpdesk application are that it can simplify the process of documenting applications from the start to the creation of an application. So that it can help the company in providing comfort for employees and simplify and speed up the company in data collection and recording of hardware & software repair service reports and requests for computer supplies

Abstract

Eggplant (Solanum melongena) is an important agricultural commodity with high economic value. However, various leaf diseases can hinder its growth and reduce crop yields. Therefore, rapid and accurate identification and classification of leaf diseases are crucial for improving agricultural productivity. This study proposes the use of the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) method for classifying eggplant leaf diseases based on image analysis. The model is developed using color histogram features extracted from leaf images as the basis for classification. This research involves collecting a dataset of eggplant leaf images with various disease categories, extracting color features using RGB and HSV color models, and implementing a KNN model with k=3k=3k=3. The model's performance is evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Experimental results show that the KNN model achieves an accuracy of approximately 87%, but challenges remain, such as dataset imbalance and misclassification of disease classes with similar color patterns. To improve accuracy, this study explores data augmentation techniques and optimizes the KNN model parameters. This research aims to enhance the effectiveness of KNN in detecting and classifying eggplant leaf diseases, ultimately assisting farmers in managing their crops more efficiently and effectively.
