Abstract

The enhancement of society through local economic development is crucial in fostering the productivity of the community by providing various facilities that support its existence, not excluding institutions or industrial centers. Training and motivation are essential for creating job satisfaction, which in turn contributes to overall well-being. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence among the variables, both directly and indirectly. This study is categorized as descriptive and inductive research. It was conducted in the Batik industry center in the Pelayangan Subdistrict of Kota Jambi, with a population and sample of 80 batik employees. The research analysis employs the path analysis method.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the direct and indirect influence of career coaching and human resource development on professionalism and its impact on personnel performance at the Jambi Regional Police Human Resources Bureau. This is because human resources must receive career coaching and development so as to increase professionalism to encourage increased employee performance. The literature review in this research uses reference sources based on the variables used, namely career coaching, human resource development, professionalism and personnel performance. Where, each variable will be explained definitively, examining dimensions and indicators, as well as the relationship between the variables themselves. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis methods to determine the scale and quantitative analysis (path analysis) based on the research variables used. The research object itself is the Jambi Regional Police Human Resources Bureau with a population and sample of 62 personnel. The research results show that: 1) The total score for the Career Development (X1) and Human Resources Development (X2) variables is in the good category, while the Professionalism (Y) and Personnel Performance (Z) variables are in the High category; 2) The Career Development variable (X1) directly 11.16% and indirectly 17.16% and Human Resources Development (X2) has a direct influence of 23.33% and indirectly 51.65% on Professionalism (Y); 3) The Career Development variable is directly .92% and indirectly 13.98% (X1) and HR Development directly 25% and indirectly 45.9% (X2) has a direct influence on Personnel Performance (Z); 4) The Professionalism Variable (Y) has a direct influence of 33.76% and other factors 66.24% on Personnel Performance (Z); and 5) Career Development (X1), HR Development (X2), and Professionalism (Y) variables have a positive and significant influence on Personnel Performance (Z). Thus, career coaching and human resource development directly and indirectly through professionalism on the performance of personnel at the Jambi Regional Police Human Resources Bureau has a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

This research is to describe the competency, professionalism, career development and performance of employees at the Jambi District Court Class IA. From the tests carried out, it was found that career development was influenced by competence and professionalism by 0.384 or if the percentage was 38.4% while the rest was influenced by other variables. Employee performance in this case is also influenced by the competency and professionalism variables of 0.608 or if expressed as a percentage, it is 60.8%. From the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that competence and professionalism have a significant and simultaneous influence on career development and employee performance at the Jambi District Court Class IA. This research concludes that employee competency, professionalism, career development and performance are in competent, high enough, good and high conditions. Apart from that, competence and professionalism have a positive and significant influence on career development in the Jambi State Court Class IA. Likewise, career development has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office is a government agency in the province of Jambi, Indonesia, which has the main task of carrying out search and rescue operations in emergency situations, such as searching for missing drowned people, shipwrecks, or natural disasters. This research aims to find out and describe the picture of training, mentoring, competency and performance of employees at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office and to find out and analyze the influence of training and mentoring on employee performance through competency at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office. The method used in this research is descriptive verification and quantitative methods. The research objects in this study were employees at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office. Based on the approach, it can be seen that the number of samples is 65 people. This research uses the path analysis method. Based on the description of training in the good category, mentoring in the right category, competency in the high category and performance in the high category. Based on the research results, training and mentoring simultaneously have a significant effect on competency. Furthermore, training and mentoring partially have a significant effect on competency. Training and Mentoring simultaneously have a significant effect on Performance. Furthermore, partial training has no significant effect on performance and partial mentoring has a significant effect on performance. Competency partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Jambi Class B Search and Relief Office.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of employee competence, credibility, professionalism and performance of Jambi Province PUPR Service employees. To find out and analyze the direct and indirect influence of employee competence and credibility on professionalism in the Jambi Province PUPR Service. To find out and analyze the direct and indirect influence of employee competence and credibility on employee performance at the Jambi Province PUPR Service. To find out and analyze the influence of professionalism on employee performance at the Jambi Province PUPR Service. To determine and analyze the influence of employee competence and credibility through professionalism on employee performance. The type of data obtained in this research uses quantitative data sourced from primary data obtained by conducting research and questionnaires, secondary data can be obtained by reading, studying and understanding. through other media sourced from literature and library books or data from agencies related to the researched. In this research, the object of research is the Jambi Province PUPR Service. Employee competency and credibility simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on employee professionalism at the Jambi Province PUPR Service. Employee competency and credibility simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Jambi Province PUPR Service employees. Professionalism partially has a significant effect on the performance of Jambi Province PUPR Service employees. Employee competence and credibility together have a significant effect on professionalism and performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the discipline, work facilities, motivation and performance of employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City and to analyze the partial and simultaneous direct and indirect influence of discipline and work facilities on employee motivation and performance, as well as to analyze motivation on employee performance. To answer the research objectives, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely discipline, work facilities, motivation and performance. Apart from that, the author also looked for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this research are employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City, totaling 53 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this research is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, it was found that discipline and work facilities had an influence on motivation by 65.4% while the rest was influenced by other variables. Discipline and work facilities have an influence of 42.0% on employee performance in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. This research concluded that discipline, work facilities, motivation and employee performance were in good and high condition. Apart from that, discipline and work facilities partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the motivation and performance of employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. Likewise, motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the overview of work facilities, work capabilities, work commitment, and employee performance in the Pasar District of Jambi City. Additionally, it seeks to examine and analyze the influence of work facilities and work capabilities on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through employee commitment in the Pasar District of Jambi City. The research was conducted in the Pasar District of Jambi City, which consists of one district office and four sub-district offices. The total population comprises 68 employees as of 2023. This study employs a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as the sample. A quantitative approach was applied, utilizing a survey method and data analysis through Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that work facilities and work capabilities positively and significantly affect employee performance both directly and indirectly through work commitment. Likewise, work commitment directly has a positive and significant impact on performance. This means that if the available work facilities support employee comfort and effectiveness in carrying out their tasks, coupled with strong capabilities to perform their duties smoothly and achieve established goals, it not only directly enhances employee performance but also strengthens their commitment to the organization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of incentives, competencies, and work facilities through professionalism on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Office (Bapenda). The method used in this research is descriptive-verification and quantitative method. Based on the approach, the sample size is determined to be 66 people. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of education level, number of family members, working hours, and marital status on income levels in the Tengah Village, Pelayangan District, Jambi City. This study was a quantitative descriptive study with a sample size of 162 families. Multiple linear regression was used as the analytical tool. The results revealed a simultaneous positive and significant influence between education level, number of family members, working hours, and marital status on income levels. However, only the number of family members had a partial effect on income levels in the Tengah Village, Pelayangan District, Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and training on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable at the Environmental Service Office of Jambi Province. The research population consists of all 101 Civil Servants (PNS) at the Environmental Service Office of Jambi Province. The sampling technique used the census method, in which the entire population was included as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that competence has a positive and significant effect on motivation and employee performance. Training also has a positive and significant effect on motivation and employee performance. Furthermore, motivation is proven to act as an intervening variable that strengthens the influence of competence and training on performance. Thus, the higher the competence and the better the training provided, the greater the employee motivation, which ultimately leads to improved employee performance
