Abstract

The rapid development of skin care products (Skincare) through social media has changed the paradigm of the digital marketing model in general. This article discusses digital marketing models that skin care products use in marketing their products. The method used was Krippendorff content analysis which was carried out through digital observation on the Instagram account of skin care products (Skincare) Elvicto @ elvicto.id from March 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021. The results of this study indicate that Elvicto is more engaged in a digital marketing communication strategy through marketing. Instagram @ elvicto.id which is dominated by personal selling strategies.

Abstract

Abstract

The enhancement of society through local economic development is crucial in fostering the productivity of the community by providing various facilities that support its existence, not excluding institutions or industrial centers. Training and motivation are essential for creating job satisfaction, which in turn contributes to overall well-being. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence among the variables, both directly and indirectly. This study is categorized as descriptive and inductive research. It was conducted in the Batik industry center in the Pelayangan Subdistrict of Kota Jambi, with a population and sample of 80 batik employees. The research analysis employs the path analysis method.

Abstract

The Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office is a government agency in the province of Jambi, Indonesia, which has the main task of carrying out search and rescue operations in emergency situations, such as searching for missing drowned people, shipwrecks, or natural disasters. This research aims to find out and describe the picture of training, mentoring, competency and performance of employees at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office and to find out and analyze the influence of training and mentoring on employee performance through competency at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office. The method used in this research is descriptive verification and quantitative methods. The research objects in this study were employees at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office. Based on the approach, it can be seen that the number of samples is 65 people. This research uses the path analysis method. Based on the description of training in the good category, mentoring in the right category, competency in the high category and performance in the high category. Based on the research results, training and mentoring simultaneously have a significant effect on competency. Furthermore, training and mentoring partially have a significant effect on competency. Training and Mentoring simultaneously have a significant effect on Performance. Furthermore, partial training has no significant effect on performance and partial mentoring has a significant effect on performance. Competency partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Jambi Class B Search and Relief Office.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the discipline, work facilities, motivation and performance of employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City and to analyze the partial and simultaneous direct and indirect influence of discipline and work facilities on employee motivation and performance, as well as to analyze motivation on employee performance. To answer the research objectives, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely discipline, work facilities, motivation and performance. Apart from that, the author also looked for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this research are employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City, totaling 53 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this research is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, it was found that discipline and work facilities had an influence on motivation by 65.4% while the rest was influenced by other variables. Discipline and work facilities have an influence of 42.0% on employee performance in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. This research concluded that discipline, work facilities, motivation and employee performance were in good and high condition. Apart from that, discipline and work facilities partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the motivation and performance of employees in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. Likewise, motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to achieve several objectives, which include: 1) Explaining the aspects of compensation, commitment, motivation, and employee performance at Bank BRI Abunjani Sipin Jambi Branch; 2) Examining the influence of compensation on employee commitment; 3) Investigating the impact of compensation on employee motivation; 4) Assessing the effect of compensation on employee performance; 5) Evaluating how commitment affects employee performance; 6) Analyzing the influence of work motivation on employee performance; 7) Studying the effect of compensation on employee performance mediated by commitment; and 8) Assessing the effect of compensation on employee performance mediated by motivation. The study's population comprises 114 employees at the BRI Sipin Branch in Jambi City in 2023, with a saturated sampling technique being utilized. This research employs a quantitative methodology with a survey approach and utilizes Partial Least Squares (PLS) for data analysis. The findings reveal that compensation exerts both direct and indirect positive and significant effects on employee performance, mediated by commitment and motivation. Furthermore, commitment and motivation themselves have a direct and significant positive influence on employee performance. These findings indicate that when the compensation provided aligns with employees xpectations, it enhances their commitment and motivation, resulting in improved work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the overview of work facilities, work capabilities, work commitment, and employee performance in the Pasar District of Jambi City. Additionally, it seeks to examine and analyze the influence of work facilities and work capabilities on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through employee commitment in the Pasar District of Jambi City. The research was conducted in the Pasar District of Jambi City, which consists of one district office and four sub-district offices. The total population comprises 68 employees as of 2023. This study employs a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as the sample. A quantitative approach was applied, utilizing a survey method and data analysis through Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that work facilities and work capabilities positively and significantly affect employee performance both directly and indirectly through work commitment. Likewise, work commitment directly has a positive and significant impact on performance. This means that if the available work facilities support employee comfort and effectiveness in carrying out their tasks, coupled with strong capabilities to perform their duties smoothly and achieve established goals, it not only directly enhances employee performance but also strengthens their commitment to the organization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of incentives, competencies, and work facilities through professionalism on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Office (Bapenda). The method used in this research is descriptive-verification and quantitative method. Based on the approach, the sample size is determined to be 66 people. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on the research results, Incentives (X1), Competencies (X2), and Work Facilities (X3) have a significant simultaneous effect on Professionalism (Y). Furthermore, Incentives (X1), Competencies (X2), and Work Facilities (X3) partially have a significant effect on Professionalism (Y). Incentives (X1), Competencies (X2), and Work Facilities (X3) have a significant simultaneous effect on Employee Performance (Z). Furthermore, Incentives (X1), Competencies (X2), and Work Facilities (X3) partially have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Z). Abstract

This research focuses on the important role of job satisfaction and employee motivation in enhancing performance at Bank BNI, Muara Bungo Branch. Job satisfaction is described as the difference between the amount of rewards received by employees and the amount they perceive they should receive, while motivation is considered as a reservoir of potential energy dependent on employees' drives, hopes, and incentives. This study employs a descriptive-verification research method with job satisfaction and work motivation as independent variables, performance as the dependent variable, and motivation as the intervening variable. Data were collected from employees of Bank BNI, Muara Bungo Branch, and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS). The results of the study indicate that job satisfaction and employee motivation are at a good and high level. Furthermore, the research reveals that job satisfaction has a significant positive influence on employee motivation, and employee motivation also has a significant positive effect on their performance. Moreover, the study supports the existence of a significant indirect effect, where job satisfaction affects employee performance through motivation. These findings underscore the importance of the leadership role of Bank BNI in paying attention to and enhancing job satisfaction and employee motivation as the company's primary resources. Leaders are expected to understand that job satisfaction and motivation play a crucial role in improving employee performance, thus enabling them to take more efficient steps to ensure leadership success and achieve beneficial outcomes for the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of workload and work environment on turnover intention in employees at PT. Jambi Planning Commerce, with motivation acting as a mediating variable. This study uses descriptive and verification methodology, using a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 52 permanent employees of PT. Jambi Planning Commerce. SPSS version 29.0 was used to conduct statistical analysis, which includes multiple regression and path analysis. The objective was to investigate the direct and indirect impacts of workload and work environment on turnover intention, mediated by motivation. The results show that the number of workers and working conditions have a large and favourable impact on motivation and the likelihood of leaving the job. More precisely, the direct impact of workload on motivation accounts for 17.9% of the overall effect, while the indirect impact accounts for 18.1%. The work environment has a direct impact of 26.1% and an indirect impact of 18.1% on motivation. Collectively, these characteristics explained 80.2% of the variability in motivation. In addition, the level of work assigned and the conditions under which work is performed have a significant impact on the desire to leave the job, accounting for 25.8% and 18.8% of the effect, respectively. In addition, there is an indirect effect of 18.4% each, which results in a cumulative effect of 81.4%. Motivation plays an important role in turnover intention, accounting for 75.9% of the variation.
