Abstract

Listrik memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dari penerangan hingga pengoperasian peralatan elektronik, Penyuluhan mengenai manfaat listrik dapat membantu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menggunakan listrik yang aman dan efisien. Listrik memiliki manfaat sebagai sumber energi yang bersih dan ramah lingkungan. Listrik juga memungkinkan adanya inovasi teknologi yang lebih canggih dan efisien dalam berbagai sektor seperti transportasi, komunikasi, dan industri. Dalam penyuluhan mengenai manfaat listrik, penting untuk juga memberikan informasi mengenai cara penggunaan listrik yang aman dan hemat. Mengajarkan tentang pentingnya mematikan peralatan listrik saat tidak digunakan, menggunakan peralatan listrik yang berkualitas dan hemat energi, serta melakukan perawatan secara berkala dapat membantu masyarakat untuk menggunakan listrik secara efisien. Dengan pemahaman yang baik mengenai manfaat listrik, diharapkan masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan sumber energi ini secara bijaksana demi kesejahteraan bersama dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to design an Off-Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in Dusun I Negeri Hutumuri, to overcome the limited electricity supply from PLN, which often experiences periodic blackouts. Off-Grid PLTS was chosen as an alternative solution because it uses abundant solar energy in the region, is environmentally friendly, and does not depend on conventional power grids. This research begins with an analysis of the daily load requirements in Dusun I Negeri Hutumuri, which include household needs, public facilities such as schools and health centers, with total energy consumption reaching 605.064 kWh. In the design of this Off-Grid PLTS system, the main components used include solar modules, batteries, and inverters. The peak capacity required for this solar system is 172 kWp with a total energy of 168,073 Wh. Based on the calculation results, this system uses 210 solar modules connected in a series-parallel configuration, as well as five inverters with a capacity of 20 kW each. Abstract

This study aims to design a rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system at the State Police School (SPN) Passo in Ambon using pvsyst software. This PLTS is designed with an on-grid system, connected to the PLN network, to utilize solar energy as a renewable energy source. The study began by collecting data on solar radiation intensity, daily energy consumption, and location characteristics such as roof area and orientation. This data was then processed using PVSyst to calculate the daily energy load, the required roof area, and the optimal solar panel capacity. The simulation results show that a PLTS system with a capacity of 41,27 kWp can meet the energy needs of SPN Passo, producing around 50,589 kWh per year with a Performance Ratio (PR) of around 80.87% This design is considered feasible with stable efficiency throughout the year, contributing to reducing energy consumption from PLN and supporting the use of environmentally friendly solar energy at SPN Passo.
