Abstract

Reading is the first obligation that God commands His people. Because by reading we can find out what is not yet known. Reading can sharpen thinking power and improve writing skills. Reading is not only explicit but also implied from all natural phenomena. So that reading activities run well, a place that can accommodate both reading and writing activities is needed. The place referred to in this paper is in the form of TBM. For the implementation of reading activities smoothly, it is necessary to manage the institution which includes planning, implementing, organizing, evaluating and developing. TBM not only functions as a place to read and write but also at the same time other activities that support reading activities, such as sports and arts activities, entertainment and recreation, so these activities need to be programmed at TBM.

Abstract

This research was motivated by parental supervision of children's learning in RW 4, Ulak Karang Selatan Subdistrict, which aims to find out how parents supervise children's learning. The research used is qualitative research. This approach uses descriptive qualitative because the problems to be discussed in this research are in the form of words, both written and spoken, not related to numbers. The results of this research show that, (1) Parental supervision of children's learning in RW 4, Ulak Karang Selatan Subdistrict, that is, parents are responsible for supervising and directing children's learning activities. (2) Parental Supervision Patterns Regarding Children's Learning in RW 4, Ulak Karang Selatan Subdistrict, namely the efforts of fathers and mothers in supervising, paying attention, assessing all children's activities whether they have been carried out correctly or not and with this supervision pattern parents supervise children in learning . (3) Forms of parental supervision regarding children's learning in RW 4, Ulak Karang Selatan Subdistrict, namely what form of supervision is carried out by parents over children when children are studying, whether parents guide and help children in learning and whether parents fulfill children's learning needs and provide motivation. children's learning.Keywords: Supervision, Parents, Learning

Abstract

The purpose of study is to ascertain how adult student learning outcomes in Indonesian language classes at PKBM Titian Amanah relate to their readiness for learning. Attention, drive, and the growth of personal preparedness are all components of learning readiness. This study employed a correlational research design and a quantitative methodology. The questionnaire measures the level of learning readiness in terms of attention, motivation and development of individual readiness. Findings of this research indicate the learning readiness of adult students Package C program at PKBM Titian Amanah is in the low category, especially in terms of attention and motivation. This is evident from respondents' propensity to select "disagree" option in the questionnaire. However, research also finds a significant relationship between learning readiness and learning outcomes. Students with a higher level of readiness tend to achieve better learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research, there are several recommendations that can be given. First, PKBM Titian Amanah must provide better facilities to increase adult students' learning readiness. Second, tutors must be more creative in using learning media to increase learning motivation. Additionally, future research could explore the relationship between learning readiness and learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Readiness, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less than optimal use of learning facilities that support learning, especially in social education subjects. The aim of this research activity is to find out: an overview of the learning facilities and learning motivation of residents studying Package B at PKBM Insan Cendekia, as well as the relationship between learning facilities and the motivation to study social studies subjects of residents studying Package B at PKBM Insan Cendikia. The research approach is quantitative with a correlational type. The population in this study was 41 people studying Package B, PKBM Insan Cendikia. The sample for this study was 80% of the total population taken using the technique of stratified random sampling, namely 32 study residents. Data was collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage and product moment formulas. Research results: (1) learning facilities are categorized as quite good; (2) motivation for learning social studies subjects is categorized as moderate; (3) there is a very significant relationship between learning facilities and motivation to study social studies subjects of residents studying package B PKBM Insan Cendikia in Padang City.

Abstract

This writing aims to discuss the application of a sociological approach in non-formal education. Sociology is a science that studies human relations with humans. The sociological approach in non-formal education is to look at relationships and apply sociological principles in implementing learning in non-formal education. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at KB Jannatul Na'iem Kampung Padang Pariaman. Children's low cognitive abilities are caused by several factors, namely lack of facilities, biological maturity, physical activity, environmental interactions, balance of new information. Of these many factors, less attractive learning facilities/media is the main factor. This research aims to determine the increase in cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years using papinka media at KB Jannatul Na'iem. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was pretest and posttest. The population of this study was 21 children. The research sample consisted of 21 children taken from the entire population. Purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the T test. The results of the research can be concluded (1) before taking action (pretest), children's cognitive abilities were grouped into early development stages, (2) after taking action (posttest), children's cognitive abilities were grouped into developing stages according to expectations . and (3) there is a significant influence of papinka media in improving the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kecamatan Ulak Karang Selatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara orang tua melakukan pengawasan terhadap pembelajaran anak. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini berupa kata-kata, baik tertulis maupun lisan, tidak berkaitan dengan angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kecamatan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu orang tua bertanggung jawab mengawasi dan mengarahkan kegiatan belajar anak. (2) Pola Pengawasan Orang Tua Terhadap Pembelajaran Anak di RW 4 Kelurahan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu upaya ayah dan ibu dalam mengawasi, memperhatikan, menilai seluruh kegiatan anak apakah sudah dilaksanakan dengan benar atau belum dan dengan pola pengawasan tersebut orang tua mengawasi anak dalam belajar. (3) Bentuk pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kelurahan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu bentuk pengawasan apa yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anak ketika anak sedang belajar, apakah orang tua membimbing dan membantu anak dalam belajar dan apakah orang tua memenuhi pembelajaran anak kebutuhan dan memberikan motivasi. pembelajaran anak-anak.Kata Kunci: Pengawasan, Orang Tua, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Mini riset ini berangkat dari permasalahan lingkungan yang tercemar akibat buruknya pengelolaan sampah, baik sampah rumah tangga maupun sampah lainnya. Kehadiran Bank Sampah Sakinah menawarkan solusi dari permasalahan sampah yang ada di Kelurahan Batu Gadang. Salah satunya adalah system pengolahan sampah atau limbah kasar menjadi barang bernilai ekonomis. Langkah kongkritnya adalah menampung sampah dari masyarakat, ditimbang, dihitung dan dikonversi menjadi uang yang langsung dicatat di buku tabungan. Selain itu bank Sampah Sakinah memberikan dampak yang positif dari segi partisipasi masyarakat, lingkungan semakin bersih, berkontribusi terhadap ekonomi  dan mampu mengubah pola piker masyarakat terhadap lingkungan. Mini riset ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yang dilakukan dengan mengamati secara langsung, melakukan dialog atau wawancara dengan informan, atau menelaah semua dokumen yang terkait dengan yang diteliti.

Abstract

One Desa Tingkarang, Jorong VIII, Nagari Tarung-tarung Selatan, Kecamatan Rao, Kabupaten Pasaman, Provinsi Sumatera Barat, has abundant natural bamboo potential. Up to now, the utilization of bamboo has not been optimal in terms of both quantity and quality, even though bamboo can be used for various woven and non-woven crafts. Based on this, the village of Tingkarang, Jorong VIII, Nagari Tarung-tarung Selatan, Kecamatan Rao, Kabupaten Pasaman, Provinsi Sumatera Barat was chosen as the location to implement Community Empowerment (Pemberdayaan Kepada Masyarakat - PKM).The goal of the service is to produce bamboo woven crafts called "Tampah" with innovations in weaving techniques and colors. The partner group involved in the activity can apply bamboo craft weaving techniques for "Tampah" with various weaving styles and attractive colors. Through product innovation, the selling value of the products will increase, and there will be an improvement in the partners' ability to manage their business, including product innovation, marketing, and business bookkeeping.
