Abstract

Telah terjadi pergeseran cara dalam melakukan perlawanan petani. Dahulu, aktivis petani hanya mengandalkan cara konvensional seperti demonstrasi ke lapangan untuk menuntut hak mereka. Saat ini cara lama itu didukung pemanfaatan digitalisasi, yaitu dengan menggunakan media sosial. Salah satu media sosial yang digunakan sebagai medium perlawanan petani adalah Instagram. Instagram digunakan oleh Akmisosial, sebuah organisasi politik independen, sebagai medium bagi perlawanan petani Telukjambe, Karawang, Jawa Barat yang lahannya telah dirampas oleh pihak swasta secara semena-mena. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan Instagram sebagai medium perlawanan petani di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Media Siber (AMS) dengan metode etnografi virtual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlawanan petani yang dilakukan melalui media sosial tidak hanya sebatas jari saja, namun juga dapat menjadi aksi nyata, baik dalam bentuk materi seperti penggalangan dana bagi petani yang sedang berada di pengungsian atau aksi nyata dengan ikut langsung ke lapangan. Hal tersebut dapat ditemukan pada respon-respon yang diberikan oleh followers. Instagram sebagai media sosial yang mengandalkan aspek visual, dengan unggahan berupa foto dan video, mampu menggugah atensi para followers untuk berpartisipasi. Diharapkan kepada aktivis-aktivis perlawanan petani lain agar dapat memanfaatkan media sosial dalam melakukan aksi perlawanan supaya partisipan yang lebih luas dapat terjangkau.Kata-kata Kunci: Analisis Media Siber; era digital; etnografi virtual; Instagram; perlawanan petani

Abstract

Issue of land grabbing and its relevation, such as violence, discrimination and criminalization of peasents, often escapes from the mainstream of the media. For this reason, a strategy is needed to make the people become aware of the issue of land grabbing. So far the strategy that has been done by activists, academics and related parties to defend the peasents who have been violence, discriminated and criminalized with conventionally. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication strategies of peasant resistance movements on social media. The method used in this study is virtual etnography with participatory online observation techniques through two stages; studying and carrying out details the object. The researcher doing online partisipatif observation to the Instagram accounts @jogja_darurat_agraria by identifying elements of: communicators, communicants, messages, media, and effects. The results showed that the account already has carried out a well strategy communication, so that their ideological message well deliver to the communicant. The online activism of the peasant movement is the first step to mobilize the people to move in real terms.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve digital marketing knowledge and skills, especially through storytelling techniques or product narratives from members of the Teras Ciapus Mandiri community, Tamansari District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The method carried out in this activity is training and assisting digital marketing with storytelling techniques. The training activities were carried out face-to-face which was attended by 10 participants. Then it was continued with hybrid mentoring activities for two months, namely from September to November 2024. The results of training and mentoring activities showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and digital marketing practices. This can be seen from the increase in post-test scores compared to pre-tests. Participants also experienced an increase in sales, variations of promotional content, and interactions on social media based on the evaluation conducted by the team. This training recommends the use of a weekly content calendar to improve the consistency and effectiveness of product promotions.

Abstract

Digital Storytelling, which has been widely used for learning and marketing activities, is now also used by activists as a communication strategy for social change. One activist who utilizes digital storytelling for social change is Pandawara Group. They are five young men from Bandung, West Java who are very concerned about environmental cleanliness. Starting from cleaning up garbage scattered in the river near their home, now Pandawara Group has cleaned up a lot of garbage in the river and beaches outside the Bandung area. The aim of this study is to analyze digital storytelling on Pandawara Group’s digital activism on TikTok. This research is qualitative research using narrative analysis based on the narrative analysis framework developed by Connelly and Clandinin and Polkinghorne. The results of the research show that visual collaboration and narrative are used to persuade followers of the Pandawara Group TikTok account to participate in the garbage cleanup action on Teluk Beach. The results of the study found that in these three videos, Padawara Group through these three videos have presented a story with a clear and simple structure so that the plot is easy to follow. The background shown in all three videos shows a stark difference between the very dirty beach conditions in the first video, when it is cleaned in the second video, and after the beach is cleaned in the third video. The message conveyed by the three videos is also very efficient and focused on the main goal. It is necessary to include the stories of the characters involved to find out what their motivation is to participate in this beach clean-up action and the challenges they face in order to increase the emotional closeness of the audience to the story.

Abstract

As a contributor to the country's foreign exchange and job openings for the Indonesian people, it is appropriate for MSMEs to be one of the priorities in government programs. The government has made many efforts to empower MSMEs, including through Government Regulation (PP) Number 7 of 2021 concerning the Facilitation, Protection, and Empowerment of MSME Cooperatives. Previous research explains that higher education empowers MSMEs by conducting several community service programs for MSME actors. This research aims to dig deeper into the digital literacy owned by the Teras Ciapus MSME Community members in Bogor Regency and their challenges in improving digital literacy. Focus Group Discussions and in- depth interviews use qualitative methods in this study. The FGD was conducted for 63 active members of the Ciapus Terrace community. S The measurement standard used in this FGD activity is to identify the experience of members of the Ciapus Core Community in using digital marketing. An in-depth interview was conducted with the chairman and four Teras Ciapus MSME Community members. The results of the study found that there is still a low level of digital literacy owned by members of the Ciapus Teras community. All community members have digital devices, such as smartphones, but have not used them optimally. Several challenges they face include social and cultural barriers, lack of awareness of ICT use, and unequal opportunities for members to participate in digital training activities. The results of this research hope to provide strategic input for the government, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders in supporting the development of MSMEs through strengthening digital literacy.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu penghasil lapangan pekerjaan di Indonesia, sudah sepantasnya pelaku UMKM memiliki banyak keterampilan. Salah satu keterampilan yang wajib dimiliki oleh pelaku UMKM adalah foto dan video dengan menggunakan telepon pintar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan teoritis dan praktis mengenai fotografi dan videografi dengan menggunakan telepon pintar bagi pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Bogor yang tergabung dalam Komunitas Teras Ciapus. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, praktik dan evaluasi. Pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman teoritis dan praktis pserta mengenai foto dan video. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan. Setelah pelatihan ini dilakukan, diharapkan anggota Komunitas Teras Ciapus memiliki keterampilan foto dan video yang baik serta mampu menerapkannya untuk kebutuhan pemasaran digital.

Abstract

Tingginya angka konflik pertanahan di Indonesia menggambarkan kompleksnya persoalan agraria seperti tumpang tindihnya kepemilikan lahan, ketidakadilan struktural, dan lemahnya penegakan hukum. Konflik Dago Elos misalnya, yang berakar pada sengketa lahan antara warga Dago Elos dan pihak yang mengklaim hak atas tanah. Konflik ini mencerminkan pertentangan kepentingan antara kelas penguasa dan kelas tertindas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pertentangan kelas dan komunikasi kesadaran kolektif yang terjadi pada konflik agraria di Dago Elos, Bandung, menggunakan perspektif teori Karl Marx dan konsep Komunikasi Tindakan Kolektif serta metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan literature review dan analisis dokumentasi berita untuk menggali perlawanan warga serta upaya mereka dalam memperjuangkan hak atas tanah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik kelas tidak hanya melibatkan aspek material, namun juga menyentuh kesadaran kolektif warga yang merupakan elemen penting dalam memperkuat solidaritas dan perjuangan melawan ketidakadilan struktural. Kesadaran kolektif tercermin melalui berbagai aksi kreatif, seperti teatrikal, musik, dan protes yang diorganisasi secara mandiri oleh warga. Mengacu pada teori Karl Marx, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa sengketa lahan di Dago Elos merupakan manifestasi nyata dari ketimpangan struktural dan relasi kekuasaan yang timpang dalam masyarakat kapitalis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada kajian kritis mengenai konflik agraria dan pentingnya membangun kesadaran kolektif dalam mendorong perubahan sosial.

Abstract

Pengangkatan isu stereotip gender perempuan dalam film “Mulan (2020)” dibalut dengan latar belakang kebudayaan China kuno. Penelitian ini, memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis proses penerimaan penonton mengenai makna stereotip gender perempuan dalam film. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis penerimaan (reception analysis) yang berfokus pada penerimaan penonton atas pesan yang disampaikan oleh media. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus penelitian melihat proses penerimaan penonton. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan individu penonton yang tertarik dan menonton film “Mulan (2020)”. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian adalah adanya perbedaan individu penonton dalam menerima pesan stereotip yang disampaikan dalam film “Mulan (2020)” dengan dikategorikan dalam posisi dominan, posisi negosiasi, dan posisi oposisi. Sebanyak tiga informan menduduki posisi dominan dengan menerima pesan stereotip gender perempuan melalui film, sedangkan dua informan memiliki posisi negosiasi yang menerima pesan stereotip gender perempuan berdasarkan pengalaman. Ketidakadaan individu penonton yang berada pada posisi oposisi. Kekurangan pemahaman masyarakat tentang stereotip gender dapat membuat pola pikir masyarakat tidak maju dan selalu memberikan pandangan antar gender perempuan dan laki-laki. Sehingga, berubahnya pola pikir masyarakat mengenai stereotip.

Abstract

Food safety is an important aspect that must be carried out by food and beverage industry players, including MSME actors in Tamansari District, Bogor Regency. Although their potential in supplying local food is quite large, there are still serious challenges related to the understanding and application of good food safety principles. The lack of food safety by a number of MSME actors in Tamansari District not only affects the quality of the products they offer but also has an impact on consumer health and the sustainability of their businesses. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to MSME actors in Tamansari to be able to ensure that products are safe to consume and meet quality standards so that they can compete in a wider market. The methods applied in this service activity are preparation and planning, socialization of activities, implementation of training, discussion and evaluation as well as follow-up and continuous support. Community service activities were carried out on September 2, 2024 at the Tamansari District Hall, Bogor Regency, West Java. The results of this activity show an increase in understanding from Tamansari MSME actors, Bogor Regency regarding the importance of food safety practices, starting from the production process to product distribution. The increase in understanding of the importance of food safety practices is known from the results of the pre-test and post tests carried out. The actors of Tamansari, Bogor Regency MSMEs who participated in this training were also given an understanding to practice better hygiene standards and raw material handling, in order to improve the quality and safety of the products produced. This is expected to have a positive impact on consumer confidence and support the sustainability of their business in a more competitive market. The success of this community service activity shows the importance of this training so that MSME actors in Tamansari District can implement food safety in their production process.
