Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students' ability in the beginning of learning that contributes to the low learning outcomes of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono, East Lampung. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in Civics learning outcomes between students who learned using the SFAE model compared to learning using CS models with regard to students' initial abilities. The research method used is a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests (pretest and posttest). For instrument testing using validity and reliability tests. Data analysis techniques using two-way variant analysis and t test. Research results show that the use of the SFAE model can improve student learning outcomes, especially in students with high initial ability of 71.42% and 21.42% in students with moderate initial ability, while CS learning models can improve student learning outcomes with low initial ability 35.71%.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah perbedaan kemampuan siswa diawal pembelajaran yang berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar Pkn siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono Lampung Timur.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar PKn antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model SFAE dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan model CS dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes (pretes dan postes). Untuk uji instrument menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian dua jalan dan uji t. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model SFAE dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terutama pada siswa memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi sebesar 71,42 % dan 21,42% pada siswa dengan kemampuan awal sedang, sedangkan model pempelajaran CS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah sebesar 35,71 %.Kata kunci: CS, Hasil Belajar, SFAE

Abstract

Melanoma is a skin cancer disease that occurs due to abnormal growth of melanocytes, which are cells that can produce pigment in the skin. Melanoma is one of the most vicious skin cancers and can easily spread to other organs in the human body, such as the lungs and brain. This expert system for diagnosing melanoma skin disease is a computer-based system that is used as a tool for diagnosing melanoma skin disease based on a dynamic knowledge base. The purpose of this research is to build an expert system that can identify Melanoma Skin Disease. An expert system built using the Bayes theorem method in a diagnostic process based on expert knowledge or experience. The results of this study present an expert system capable of diagnosing melanoma skin disease quickly, precisely and accurately. These results are presented in a system built in the form of a website using PHP programming with a MySQL database. Overall this expert system can be useful for patients or the general public to be able to know clearly about melanoma skin disease from the symptoms and can provide solutions in handling it.

Abstract

Background: There are various reasons behind smoking behavior in adolescents. The biggest factor of smoking habits in adolescents is social or environmental factors. Related to these factors, that a person's character is mostly formed by the surrounding environment, whether family, neighbors, or social friends (Fikriyah and Febrijanto, 2012). According to Brigham (1991) in (Tristanti, 2016), smoking is a symbolic behavior for adolescents who think that by smoking they will look more mature, mature, strong, can become leaders and can attract the opposite sex. In addition, smoking can also be a medium of relaxation, can relieve tension, make it easier to concentrate and have a pleasant experience. In theory there are other factors that make teenagers continue to smoke, namely the presence of nicotine in cigarettes, they will feel the beneficial effects of nicotine, namely for relaxation or calm, and reduce anxiety or tension. So they feel relaxed after smoking. Some teenagers who smoke report that smoking improves concentration (Fikriyah and Febrijanto, 2012). Changes from adolescents and external support must be increased to achieve a degree of health. Therefore researchers are interested in conducting research "Study of Smoking Behavior in Adolescents in Ketintang Village, Surabaya City". This research was conducted in Ketintang Village, Surabaya City. The general objective of this study was to analyze factors related to smoking behavior in adolescents aged 11-20 years.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui pendapatan usaha pecel lele di Kecamatan Belitang dan Martapura. 2) mengetahui kelayakan yang didapatkan usaha pecel lele di Kecamatan Belitang dan Martapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usaha pecel lele di Kecamatan Belitang dan Martapura sebesar Rp. 2.704.616/bulan dan Rp. 32.455.389/tahun. Usaha pecel lele secara finansial layak di kembangkan dengan memenuhi kriteria dengan nilai NPV Rp 20.529.833. IRR sebesar Rp 15,75%, Net B/C sebesar 1,24.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media use on students' reading interest at SMK KH. Ghalib Pringsewu. The development of technology, especially social media, has a significant influence on various aspects of life, including education. This study applies a qualitative approach with a total of 25 students as data sources. Data collection methods in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, to class XI TKJ students. The data analysis process was carried out using qualitative analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Hubberman. The findings of this study indicate that social media has positive and negative impacts on students' reading interest. The positive impacts include the ease for students in finding information needed for schoolwork, finding interesting reading books, and increasing students' insight, while the negative impacts include addiction to social media which reduces students' reading time and decreases students' reading interest using books directly. This study is expected to provide solutions to optimize the use of social media to be more beneficial for education and increase students' reading interest in schools.
